After school, the pageant girls and Billy are standing in front of the home of the van Doren family, Cricket's family. It may not be a mansion, but it is fancy enough and could only be afforded by at least an upper middle class individual.
"Woah." Billy is impressed by the van Doren home. "Is this a mansion?"
"Not really," Cricket admits, "but it is expensive enough to be affordable to at least a person of the upper middle class."
"Are you upper middle class?"
"Yes I am."
"That basically means you're close to being considered rich, but not really, right?"
"Wow. Your basic knowledge of socioeconomic status is impressive," Cricket compliments.
"Thanks."
"Let's head on in, shall we?"
The kids walk towards the front door. Upon arrival, Cricket knocks on the door. Then, the door opens, revealing to be a maid.
"Greetings, mistress van Doren." The maid bows as she greets.
"Woah. A maid," said Billy.
"This is Dolora, my family's one and only maid." Cricket faces Dolora. "Dolora, these are my friends Lola and Billy."
"Bonjour," says Lola as she bows.
"A pleasure to be your acquaintance." Dolora offers her hand to both kids. Lola is the first to shake her hand. After that, it is Billy's turn. Billy is quite hesitant to shake her hand, questioning whether it is rude to leave a sophisticated maid hanging.
"Go on, Billy." Cricket insists. "Shake her hand."
As told, Billy shakes the maid's hand. He felt somewhat satisfied afterwards.
"Huh. Not bad for a beginner like myself." As he was about to enter the home, Dolora suddenly stops him.
"Nuh uh uh. I have to take off your shoes first." Dolora then proceeds to untie his shoelaces and then remove his shoes, leaving his socks on. She does the same to Lola and Cricket.
"Didn't know having shoes on inside a fancy home is considered rude," says the Canadian lad.
"Not necessarily," informs Cricket, "but it is a way to keep the shiny floor clean." She points to the sparkly clean floor.
"Ah. I get it."
The maid leads the children to the dining room where she already prepared dinner for them. All three take a seat and look at their lid-covered plates.
"I wonder what she served." Billy removes the lid, revealing it to be a plate of the Parisian dish Clyde once served the Loud family in Fam Scam. "Wow. Fancy."
"It's that one Parisian dish my brother's friend Clyde served that one time. You should try it," says Lola.
Billy grabs the chicken drumstick and was about to take a bite until Cricket clears her throat, signifying him to stop. He looks at her, and Cricket demonstrates to him how to eat his food in a sophisticated manner. She grabs a knife (a plastic knife because she is too young to use an actual knife) and a fork and slices off a piece of chicken using the knife. Then, she gently stabs the piece of chicken with her fork and brings it to her mouth. Finally, she eats it and swallows it.
"Oh, right. I gotta be… sophisticated." Billy grabs his fork and plastic knife, repeating what Cricket showed him.
"He's learning quite well," comments Lola.
"He'll win Chinah's heart in no time!" exclaims Cricket.
Later at Cricket's bedroom, Cricket and Lola prepare to teach Billy how to act like a gentleman.
"For your first lesson," Lola explains, "you are going to introduce yourself formally, as in professionally."
"Observe." Lola faces Cricket as the latter puts on a red wig, pretending to be Chinah.
"Greetings, new friend," says Cricket. "My name is Chinah Zaphkiel." She offers her hand. "A pleasure to be your acquaintance."
"Hello, Chinah." Lola shakes Cricket's hand. "The name's Lola Marie Loud, and I am the world's most renowned pageant queen. It is a pleasure to finally meet you."
After their LARP is over, they face Billy.
"Now you try it, Billy," Lola tells him.
"Is Cricket supposed to be Chinah?" He asks. "Because her hair is orange, not red."
"That is not important. Now introduce yourself like a gentleman."
Billy sighs. He slowly approaches Cricket who is waiting for him to introduce himself formally.
"What up. Name's Billy. Wanna go out?"
Lola suddenly blows her whistle, causing Billy and Cricket to cover their ears.
"The heck was that?!" She scolds. "That's not how you introduce yourself formally! So unprofessional!"
"Oh, right. Whoops."
"Again!"
Billy clears his throat. "Hi. My name is Billy McWilly. I am a Canadian boy who likes to read comic books-"
"Ahem!" Lola clears her throat, signifying him to be more sophisticated.
"I mean, I like to read books that are definitely pure words and not pictures with words. Hehe."
"Cut!" Lola suddenly shouts. "That was perfect! Gee, you do learn quickly. This will be a piece of cake!"
Billy smiles at her compliment. Looks like he will ask Chinah out on a date after all.
The scene enters into a montage of Lola and Cricket teaching Billy how to be sophisticated.
The next lesson is dressing professionally. The girls make Billy put on a fancy suit, but not before they leave Cricket's room to give Billy his privacy. After he is done changing, he comes out of the room wearing a fancy tuxedo and a top hat and carrying a cane. Lola and Cricket adore his new look.
Next, Lola and Cricket teach Billy classy manners. They show him how to bow when greeting someone, say please and thank you, and wrap his arm around a mannequin which he pretends is Chinah.
After that, the pageant girls spray Billy with perfume, informing him that he has to smell nice if he wants to get near Chinah.
Throughout the rest of the montage, Lola and Cricket teach Billy more manners, and the more he learned, the more he became good at acting sophisticated. At the end of the day, Billy is now a professional at acting like a rich, fancy gentleman, and the pageant princesses are satisfied with the result of their work. Tomorrow is going to be a big day for the Canadian lad.
