A poem on brothers, because despite their masks, despite their goals, they both walk on roads that lead parallel to the twilight. The sun cannot shine on those who turn their face from the fire.

Genus

It's time to let go. You knew it would come.

You knew that the stars and the sky someday fade-

But not that equations are more then their sum

And that every avengement must sink into shade

The sun in the sky must see through all lies

You lied to the world. Can you lie to yourself?

The truth is arising in two weary eyes

Another worn book on a weather-torn shelf.

The dusty words gather, sink into decay

What worth is a dream when all slumber have fled?

So sink into shadow, and wait for the day

And abandon the worth of the faith that you led.
