Prologue
The last few Volumes of SHDE a lot happened so before we get into the old let's look back on our journey so far.
Volume 1
Shade Leaf, our protagonist arrives at Beacon and immediately runs into several people that were his future teammates.
Hiroki Darque, a powerful dark man ,that begins by hating everyone.
Dawn Psy, a stealthy, strong, and resourceful woman with the power to create strings out of her finger tips.
Erika Hinotori, a tiger faunus who can control as well as give and take life from plants around her.
They all eventually meet up in the emerald forest where they work together and slice a Nevermore in half.
This led to them being named Team SHDE led by Shade Leaf.
They met the teams RWBY and JNPR, becoming good friends with both teams.
Shade took his duties as Leader seriously and got to work testing each of his teammates abilities to work on Team Attacks in the future.
Some time passes and after meeting a Monkey Faunus named Sun and a Mysterious Girl Penny.
Erika and Blake went missing.
This led both teams to try and search for each of their missing Teammates.
Erika was once a member of the White Fang, which caused Hiroki some discomfort.
But they all reunite and work it out after talking.
Volume 2
I'm going to make this one quick.
Team SHDE JNPR and RWBY had a tournament to have some fun before the new semester started.
This ended with Yang beating Shade in the final round.
We get a little bit of backstory on how the two first met.
Now for the Dance.
Hiroki isn't interested in it but decided to go after a talk with Shade.
Erika was happy her whole team was at the dance.
Shade and Ruby weren't the best in these situations even after a talk for Ozpin.
This didn't stop the two from dancing a bit before they saw a mysterious figure running into a courtyard building.
Ruby and Shade followed the figure but were no match and the figure escaped.
Team SHDE soon got a mission that required them to separate for a while right before returning to help their fellow students defeat Grimm and save Vale.
Volume 3
Now this is going to be fun.
The Vytal Festival begins and Team SHDE is fighting their hardest.
In their own sort of way.
They won their first battle with little effort.
Then Weiss's sister Winter and Ruby's Uncle Qrow showed up.
Shade knew Qrow a bit after meeting Yang, but Winter knew Dawn even though they never met.
Winter told Dawn that she knew Dawn's mother before she passed away.
She told Dawn that her Semblance had a lot more potential.
This gave Dawn motivation to learn all she can about her spirit strings.
Next we have Shade and Hiroki vs the Twins Tad and Chad.
These two were in an interesting combo, able to send vibrations and create barriers, but they were defeated by a shadow powered Hiroki and a sneak attack from Shade.
Before and After these battles.
Shade was investigating some strange things going on.
Like who Penny was and what was Pyrrha hiding.
The single battles began and Yang was disqualified for breaking Mercury's leg.
Hiroki felt that something was off which made Shade think something was wrong.
Shade was mad and after bringing this up to General Ironwood.
Team SHDE was threatened with Disqualification too.
Just imagine what will happen when these two meet again in Volume 7.
Hiroki was determined to win for his team and fought his opposite.
Hope Hiraki.
Hiroki almost lost but won using a blade beam thanks to his Semblance.
Penny and Pyrrha's battle is next.
Shade was watching the battle carefully while Dawn was keeping Mercury from attacking Ruby.
But both Ruby and Shade were too late to stop Pyrrha from shredding Penny to pieces.
A speech from Cinder led to Grimm invading the town.
Hiroki and Erika began to fight off the Grimm in town.
Dawn went to help Ruby on the Airship where Roman Torchwick and Neo were.
But before Dawn could do much, she is knocked off the Airship.
She uses her strings to cushion her fall but was still pretty badly hurt.
Shade meanwhile followed Pyrrha and Jaune into a hidden room where she was supposed to get half the power of the Fall Maiden.
But was stopped by Cinder who took the power for herself.
Ozpin held her off so they all could escape.
Meanwhile…
Hiroki went to help Blake and Yang when he saw the man who murdered his parents.
Adam Taurus
Hiroki attacked Adam while Blake and Yang escaped.
But he was overpowered and his eye got slashed.
Erika showed up to stop Adam from killing Hiroki, by using giant wood arms.
Yeah Erika is crazy strong when she's angry.
While this happened Shade and Pyrrha were fighting against Cinder.
Cinder incapacitated Shade, even burning his shoulder badly.
This leads to Pyrrha's demise right before Shade and Ruby eyes.
Light and Black flashed hit the area and Shade and Ruby woke up in the Xiao Long residence.
Qrow explains some of the abilities of Shadow Manipulators and Silver Eyes.
Shade and Ruby recover and leave for Haven with the remains of Team JNPR
Volume 4
I'll try to make this one quick as well.
Teams are separated all doing their own thing.
Dawn sneaked on to a ship to attempt to bring Weiss back.
Erika followed Blake when she ran off.
Hiroki went home to his destroyed village after losing to Adam.
And Shade joined Team RNJR to make Team RNJRS.
Erika tries convincing Blake to come back but stays with her to try and help Blake's family with the White Fang Issue.
She fights a masked person who turns out to be her brother Shin.
He doesn't remember her and runs off after the fight.
That's when Erika decided to find a way to get her brother back.
Dawn begins her journey by sneaking around the Schnee Mansion.
She is helped by Clein and eventually goes to Weiss and they begin training.
Dawn learns how to change the color of her strings as well as turn them into more solid forms while Weiss learns how to use her summons better.
They eventually sneak on a ship heading to Haven.
Hiroki went back to his home which was mostly rubble with a large gravestone in the center of town.
He's attacked by bandits who he tries to fight before getting captured by Raven.
The person who trained him.
Raven offers Hiroki his old position in her group and he takes it in order to gain some training.
Hiroki gained strength quickly, even gaining the power to fly using concentrated aura.
He leaves the patch he used to cover his eye and runs into Yang.
Now onto Shade.
Shade finished his second gauntlet and after getting help from a master mechanic.
Now has two swords made from the metals he got after the fall of Beacon.
The team continues their journey to Haven when they run into Tyrian and Yuki.
Very deadly warriors under Salem's control.
Shade fought against Yuki leaving the others to deal with Tyrian.
Qrow shows up to save Ruby from Tyrian then gets poisoned by Tyrian.
Tyrian and Yuki retreat after Ruby cuts off his tail.
The group takes Qrow with them.
They run into the Grimm that killed Ren's home.
The team fights it resulting in Shade using a shadow shield that formed out of his actual arm.
They kill the grimm, signal a ship, go to haven and that's how SHDE Volume 4 ends.
