Haven academy is shown during the day then a shadow surrounds Haven and Shade is standing on the roof of a house looking down at the two blades in his hands. Two silhouettes of familiar Huntresses were near the blades.

(Back to the fairytale back to the show)

Shade looked up as the silhouettes vanished

(Back to the wall and there's nowhere to go)

Hiroki is in the middle of a forest with his hand on his scar eye

(Hopeless and desperate all paths adverse)

Dawn is in an airship looking at her dagger.

(Thing lookin bleak, yeah and they're bound to get worse)

Erika is outside the Belladonna house looking at the sky.

The weapons of Team SHDE spinned around before the letters of SHDE appeared.

(Helpless and doomed and there's no way to win)

Team RNJR is shown next to Qrow.

(Goals unachievable faith running thin)

Shade smiled at the group before his smile vanished as he looked away.

(Lost and forlorn impossible odds)

Oscar was approaching him.

(That's when you learn you've been messing with gods)

Shade looked at Oscar and a clear version of Ozpin was behind him.

(Send in your Grimm tear off my limb)

Lionheart is at his desk with Watts and Kiryu looking at Lionheart with evil smirks.

(Strike me with bolts of lightning)

Adam Taurus was with Hazel and Monika in the White Fang throne room.

(I won't die)

Erika looked at a picture of her family as she was walking through Menagerie

(The battle seems unwinnable)

Shade and Cinder are glaring at each other

(But all we need is a miracle)

A raven flew between the two and now Raven and Hiroki were looking away from one another with concerned looks.

(Were going up we'll never be denied)

Dawn was standing outside on a spider web made from her strings while a Queen lancer flew at her.

(Can't wish away the dismal days Cant bring back what is gone)

Kiryu and Hiroki were clashing blades in the sky while Dawn was shooting at Monika.

(We'll waste no tear on yesteryears Instead we'll carry on)

Erika was outside of Haven dodging attacks made from her Brother.

(We'll live for sure we will endure and though our goal is far)

Shade swung his Shadow enhanced blades while running. Hiroki slashed the air causing an energy slash to form. Dawn shot her weapons while running. Erika launched herself using her spear.

(We'll be the ones to touch the sun)

Shade was running with his team on his left side, Team RWBY on his right and JNR behind him.

(The triumph will be ours)

A large version of Salem was in front of them and we zoom in on Shade's eye as everything turns black.

SHDE Volume 5.

AN:Had a little trouble with this one then i thought. I hope you all enjoyed this opening. Now I have a couple things I want to say before I end this off. One, We are now finally caught up with SHDE Volumes with the openings so from now on whenever i start a new SHDE Volume i will have the opening of said SHDE Volume at the end of the first chapter. Two, SHDE Volume 6 will officially start in December. I don't know when so don't ask but it will happen next month. And last but not least, I will have a teaser for SHDE Volume 6 on December 1st so look forward to that. Until next time.
