Just something that popped into my head after rewatching some episode of Angel.
I know it's rather short but I do hope you guys enjoy it.
At the rebuilt Avengers Compound, Wanda Maximoff was sitting in the kitchen, making a sandwich when Rhodey walked in.
"Hey Wanda," Rhodey greeted and she looked up.
"Hey. Haven't seen you in a while," Wanda noted and he shrugged.
"Been busy. Specifically, with this report Sam asked me to look into," Rhodey said, pulling out a folder. "Sam was right, there were Flag Smasher sympathizers helping them out."
"Okay. And why are you telling me this? You know where Sam's office is," Wanda pointed out confused.
"Do you wanna go in there?" Rhodey asked pointedly.
"You're full of crap Sam!" Bucky shouted.
"You're not looking at the big picture Bucky!" Sam shot back.
"No, you're not! I'm talking about something primal here!"
"The human race has evolved Bucky!"
"Not that much! You just don't want to believe me!"
"It's not about what I want!" Sam snapped.
"Yes, it is. Caveman would absolutely beat astronauts!" Bucky snapped back.
"Says you!"
Wanda and Rhodey listened to Sam and Bucky shouting at each other for a few moments before looking back at each other.
"Let's give them the report in an hour," Wanda suggested and Rhodey nodded.
"Sounds good," Rhodey agreed. "So, um-"
"I don't wanna know," Wanda said immediately.
Sam and Bucky would absolutely get into the cavemen vs. astronauts debate LOL!
