Perfect Chemistry The Little Vampire Gregory X OC Alexis Chapter 1: Vampires, a little vampire fanfic

Chapter One: Vampires

"Why am I here doing this again instead of back home in bed?" Alexis asks annoyedly as she is riding in a truck with Rookery and Maney as Maney is explaining the upgrades on the truck.

"Because if I have to take over guardianship of you since my niece died you are going to helped. Adopted into our family or not you are gonna help. Ah! I knew it! One is already showing on the radar!" Rookery shouts as he looks at the radar.

"Ugh." Alexis says annoyedly.

*Timeskip*

"Stay in this truck Alexis and keep the lights on." Rookery says as the truck stops near a gas station.

"Whatever uncle Rookery. Huh?" Alexis asks as she notices two boys in dark clothing flying around before seeing Rookery and Maney setting something up.

"The light!" Rookery shouts as he hits one of the boys with a bright light causing him to groan in pain.

"Oh no." Alexis says before she quickly shifts to wolf form and jumps at Rookey and Maney scaring them as she then looks at one of the boys and gestures for him and the other boy to go. The boy then nods and grabs the older boy and flies off before Alexis runs away from Rookery and Maney and quickly hides before shifting back to human form as she then quickly gets back in the truck without being seen.

"Come on! They're getting away!" Rookery shouts as he and Maney get into the truck and begin to drive.

"Uh who's getting away uncle Rookery?" Alexis asks nervously.

"Thanks to some blasted white wolf my vampires got away!" Rookery shouts angrily.

"Oh well uh time to go home then." Alexis says nervously.

"Not a chance. I'm following them! They'll be flying back to their lair and they'll have company." Rookery says determinedly.

*Timeskip*

"Vampire proof steel netting." Rookery says as he and Maney are setting up outside a crypt.

"Huh?" Maney asks.

"You're not the only inventor." Rookery says as he looks at Maney.

"Uncle Rookery what makes you so sure it was vampires? I mean it's only a myth. It could of been a trick of those bright lights you two have been carrying all night." Alexis says as she is standing nearby.

"I know what I saw and this way that blasted wolf won't get in the way again." Rookery says as he smiles.

"But can't they just unscrew the nuts in the net?" Maney asks.

"Have you looked at these nuts? This is not your everyday nuts. This is my special nut and there is only one spanner that fits them. My special wrench." Rookery says.

"Uncle please stop. This is crazy." Alexis says as Rookery sets up a machine.

"If you won't help then stay out of the way." Rookery says angrily as Alexis gives a concerned look toward the crypt before she watches as Rookery begins to seal the door.

"I can't let them do this." Alexis says to herself.

"Did you say something Alexis?" Rookery asks as Alexis gives a determined look.

"Get out fast." A boy shouts as he and some others fly out past an opening in the net.

"Now's my chance." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and knocks Rookery and Maney away from the door.

"Hey!" Maney shouts.

"It's that blasted wolf again." Rookery says angrily as Alexis growls.

"You got that right. Leave these people alone! All of you fly! Quick! I'll hold them off!" Alexis shouts as she looks at the vampire family before they leave.

"Alexis?" Rookery asks in surprise.

"Your niece is a werewolf?" Maney asks as he looks at Rookery.

"I'm not a werewolf. I'm a wolfshifter." Alexis says as she smiles.

"Well now I know where the wolf came from earlier. Come here you brat!" Rookery shouts angrily as he grabs Alexis behind the neck and lifts her up.

"Put me down!" Alexis shouts angrily before she is thrown into the crypt.

"Get in there! I'll teach you to mess with who helps a vampire is no family of mine. Not like you ever were anyway. You're not even a human." Rookery says before he then hits Alexis in the head with his wrench as she tries to get out of the net causing her to collapse and go unconscious.
