Christine
More than meets the Eye: Friend or Foe?
Dennis and Leigh were confused by what Arnie had told them the next day. It was different from what they had experienced with Christine, but this was more unusual due to there being no reports of any stalking or murders involving a car so far.
"…But…what do you mean by…it stood up?" Dennis asked him.
"That's exactly what I mean," he explained. "It just stood up."
They were in the school cafeteria when they found that Arnie didn't bring his car with him.
"But…that's not possible," Leigh expressed; she didn't doubt Arnie's sanity, as they all saw something impossible when they saw Christine defeated by a man that disappeared as quickly as he showed up. "Any idea if the car is still at your house?"
"No, it didn't come back last night," he revealed. "It's probably out on the streets right now, waiting for an opportunity to do something."
Leigh looked out one the many windows of the cafeteria…and dropped her spork.
"It's in the parking lot," she told them.
"Huh?" Dennis reacted.
"It's in the parking lot outside, right now," she reiterated, pointing out towards the parking lot, revealing that the Cadillac was there.
"We better go," Arnie suggested, and the three got up.

Driving down the street, overlooked by various people out and about, a Nineteen-Seventy-Five Dodge Monaco police cruiser was out and about, looking for someone. What made this police stand out from others was the slogan on the sides that read, "To punish and enslave", a corruption of what police usually did, which was to protect and serve.

Arnie, Dennis and Leigh walked down the street after school, trying not to draw attention to themselves as they found, to their surprise, the Cadillac was driving down the street a block away from them, but because the windows were tinted black, it was impossible to tell if anyone was inside it. At first, they wanted to think that this was a car no different from Christine, but it didn't seem to do anything beyond driving around. They found an abandoned warehouse and ran inside it to hide from the car.
"What if it is like Christine?" Leigh asked the boys. "Or worse, what if it's Christine come back to kill us?"
Beep-beep! They heard a police siren outside and saw a car drive by.
The Cadillac drove away from the warehouse, and Arnie ran over to the police car…only to get struck by the driver side door, sent knocking him onto his bottom.
"Arnie!" Leigh gasped as she and Dennis ran over to help him up.
"That hurt," he told them as the police officer closed the door.
"Hey, what's the big idea?!" Dennis yelled. "Hey, look, we got a problem! We've been followed here by my friend's car! I mean, he left it at home, but it followed him to school, and then it followed us here! I know it sounds crazy, but we're serious, so…"
The police car roared as it slowly accelerated in front of the three, forcing them to back away from it.
"Hey, hey!" Leigh yelled, but the car continued to force them back until they were pressed against a wall. "What, what?! What do you want?!"
The car roared louder…and the headlights in front of it started emerging from the hood and looking like…like insect eyes, with teeth or knives.
"What the Hell is this?!" Dennis wondered aloud.
Leigh held onto Arnie as the car backed away from the three…and did something else altogether impossible for a car to do.
Pieces were removed and relocated elsewhere as it came apart and turned into…into some kind of…of creature made of car parts that stood up nearly fifteen feet!
"Aw, God," went Arnie, recognizing it as being similar to what the Cadillac had done the other night. "No!"
Slam! The creature slammed its arms down in front of them and brought its face to them.
"Are you Arnold 'Arnie' Cunningham?!" It spoke in an intimidating, male voice.
"What are you talking about…" Arnie questioned, confused.
"Are you Arnold 'Arnie' Cunningham?!" It asked again.
"Yes!"
"Where did you get that reconnaissance weakling?! Where did you find that Cadillac?!"
"Whoa!" Dennis gasped as he, Leigh and Arnie ran under the creature and tried to escape from the warehouse.
Unfortunately, the Cadillac had returned and was driving towards them.
"Oh, no!" Arnie yelled, prepared to knock Leigh and Dennis out of the way.
The Cadillac then drove around the trio… and rammed into the metal creature, knocking it down and away from where they were. Then, it drove back to them and opened its doors.
"It wants us to get in," Leigh realized.
"And what, then?" Arnie wondered.
"Anywhere but here!" Dennis stated. "Let's go!"
They realized that they didn't have much choice and got into the car.
"We're in, let's go." Arnie told the car, and the steering wheel turned as the wheels accelerated the vehicle sped off from the warehouse.
"Rrraurgh!" The metal creature groaned as it reverted back into the police car and pursued them.
"It's chasing us!" Dennis informed as he sat in the back seat.
"Oh, no," Arnie expressed in fear. "Speed up, speed up!"
The Cadillac drove faster down the road.
"We're gonna die," Leigh told them. "Oh, God, we're gonna die."
"We're not going to die," Arnie responded, trying to stay positive in the face of their current situation. "This is a faster car!"
"No, no, no!" Dennis gasped, pointing in front of them at what the Cadillac was driving towards.
"No, no!" Arnie yelled as they were about to hit a wall. "We're gonna die!"
Crash! The car ran right through the wall of another warehouse…and into the empty space inside, followed by the police car.
"What the…" Leigh went, wondering how the car remained intact when it should've been damaged, and felt the force of it doing a one-eighty-degree turn to avoid getting hit by the police car. "Oh, my God!"
The Cadillac sped away with its three passengers and the police car continued to pursue them.
To be continued…
A/N: I gotta be honest, but whenever I think about the first film, that chase scene with "Pretty Handsome Awkward" playing was pretty awesome. And the three thinking that the Cadillac was like Christine was a logical choice because they weren't sure what they dealing with, as they have never seen or heard of a car that wasn't really a car or any other vehicle that wasn't really what it appeared to be. How's it going for y'all this new year?
