With Deepest Regret... I am here to announce that I am going to be putting "The Dragon of the North" out to pasture... My reasons being is that, as of recently, as I have been monitoring the Poll... I have come to realize that I had allowed others to influence my writing through rude, cruel, and mean reviews that give me no constructive criticism, and as such, it had ruined the narrative that I had wanted to put forth for all of you... As such I had lost sight of what the original purpose of this story was going to be, and I lost where it was going when after one bad review, courtesy of ashnerden, a reader on this site.
Because of that one bad review, my entire narrative changed to something I didn't even want to write because I thought it was important to get everyone who read my story to like it. In any case, I cannot continue writing this story because I had lost what my original narrative was, and I cannot continue to change the chapters I had worked so hard on just to satisfy one ungrateful bastard's ego. So I'm sorry my loyal fans, but I cannot continue this story to its conclusion, all because of this S.O.B.
However, I do appreciate all of the Follows, Favorites, and Reviews you have all given me, and know that this isn't the end of my writing career here on this site! I actually have decided to turn one of my side projects into a full on Project, and do a different take of this very same universe I had been planning, a Reverse Rebirth of "The Dragon of the North" if you will. So I am proud to announce that within a few weeks, hopefully by October 31st, I will be releasing the Prologue Chapter of my newest Project, though I can't decide on whether to name it "Blood from Stone" or "The Elder Scrolls VI: Skagos"! I won't spoil too much, but with the help of Longclaw 1-6, I have been developing a narrative that I shall not let anyone influence me on this time! And I think you guys will find the story in which I will present to be better than The Dragon of the North, and will be utilizing a concept that hasn't been used much in ASOIAF or Game of Thrones, the Skagos Isles. In any case, I hope you guys will like it, and I promise to have the prologue done by October 31st at the earliest! I hope to see you all, my dearest fans, then!
