(Hogwarts: Dining Hall – next day)

Harry was once again sitting at the end of the Gryffindor table, alone as his attention paused from the book on Dragons and to the Hufflepuff table. He knew that Cedric didn't probably know what the first task entailed. Harry's Gryffindor instincts were telling him to warn Cedric but the other portion of him was telling him not to. Cedric did not offer him any help in quelling what the school was doing to him or speaking on his behalf instead in Harry's mind he was allowing to continue. He doubted that Cedric would speak on his behalf if he revealed what the first task entailed. Making up his mind on the matter he returned to his book on fighting Dragons.

(Hogwarts: Snape's office – next night)

"And what do you have there, Potter?" asked Snape as they were in his office, and Harry had a letter in his lap

"It is from Sirius" admitted Harry softly

"And what pray-tell did Black have to say" Sneered Snape

"He recommends some books for the tournament and says to listen to Dumbledore and trust in my friends" Scowled Harry

"May I see this list?" asked Snape as Harry reluctantly handed over the letter and read it

"None of these books will help, they are all about either getting out of the tournament or some spells that would not help" Stated Snape as he handed the book list back over.

"He … He says that he wants to meet this weekend" admitted Harry reluctantly

"Do you think he is actually going to help?" asked Snape with a raised eyebrow

"No, but it would be nice to see him" admitted Harry

"Of course, be sure to keep me helping you out of it" Sneered Snape

"Of course, Professor." Promised Harry

"One other thing before we start on the next spell, first I would like you to work by yourself again in my class" Stated Snape

"To give me more detentions?" asked Harry confused

"For once, you actually brewed a good potion. I will deny this of course." Replied Snape

"Oh, I was more carefully to not let Ron or Draco throw things into my Cauldron" Replied Harry

"Weasley and Malfoy throw things into your Cauldron?" Hissed Snape

"Yeah, Draco always used to do it. Ron was only last class; I was more careful to watch them" admitted Harry

"Arrive early and get a table upfront, I shall have words with Malfoy" Instructed Snape

"Alright" Stated Harry

"Let us start on the Conjunctivitis Curse, the incantation is …. "Started Snape as he was teaching Harry how to cast the Conjunctivitis Curse

(Hogwarts: Snape's office)

Severus had sent Potter back to his dorms for the night and was just about to retire when he heard a knock at the door.

"Enter" Called out Severus hoping it wasn't another student, as the door opened to see Professor McGonagall walk in

"Minerva" Greeted Severus

"Severus, I hope I am not interrupting anything" Stated Minerva as she took a seat

"Not at all, I had just finished a detention" Dodged Severus

"That is funny, I heard that you give away most of your detentions to Filch recently" Pointed out Minerva

"It is a special case" Responded Severus

"I did see Mr. Potter leave your office last night and tonight" Pointed out Minerva

"He had detention with me" Dodged Severus

"He hasn't been going to the library at night, am I to think that you are sabotaging him by giving him detention. He does need that time to prepare" Stated Minerva as she sighed

"Then maybe he shouldn't follow the rules, we cannot play favorites." Retorted Severus

"Albus says to give him less, he needs time to prepare." Ordered Minerva

"If he would like to take them up and help him prepare then he can go ahead." Stated Severus

"Albus cannot be seen helping Potter, it is against the rules." Argued Minerva

"And I cannot be seen bending the rules for him, the school is already against him" Responded Severus

"The school is not against him" Argued Minerva

"The Hufflepuff got out of their way to harass him. The Slytherins are there usually self. Your Gryffindor's harass him for lying and even Weasley and Granger don't want anything to do with him or help him. Ravenclaw are the only house that leave him alone, besides Ms. Chang" Explained Severus

"We cannot change their opinions, that would be playing favorites" Argued Minerva

"Then I shall be giving Potter detentions as I see fit" Responded Severus

"I could go to the board" Threatened Minerva

"You could, but I am not doing anything against the rules." Returned Severus

"You will not change your mind?" asked Minerva

"I will not, nor will I let anyone else take his detentions" Supplied Severus

"I am sure, Albus will have something to say about it" Stated Minerva as she stood

"I am sure he will" Stated Severus

(Hogwarts: Infirmary – next morning)

"Have you gotten a chance to study that blood sample?" asked Severus as he entered the Infirmary to check on the sample of Harry's blood that he had Madame Pomphrey take a look at

"It is not like any blood sample I have seen" admitted Madame Pomphrey as she produced the vial and put it on the desk as Snape stared at shock

"That is not the blood sample" Snapped Severus

"What do you mean?" asked Madame Pomphrey concerned

"That is the potion for Ms. Greengrass. You gave the blood to her" Hissed Severus angrily

"Oh dear, they look so alike" admitted Madame Pomphrey

"I shall send for Ms. Greengrass" Stated Snape

"I shall contact Minerva" Stated Madame Pomphrey

Severus had collected the Greengrass sister and cancelled his classes for the day as they walked back into the Infirmary.

"On the bed please, Ms. Greengrass" ordered Madame Pomphrey

"What is going on?" demanded Daphne as Astoria compiled as Severus cast a privacy spell

"There was a problem with the potion that your sister took a couple of days ago" Revealed Severus

"Have my parents been contacted?" demanded Daphne as the infirmary doors opened and Minerva, an older blonde wizard, and an older blonde witch both dressed impeccable well as Severus cancelled the privacy spell

"I shall leave in your hands, Professor Snape" Stated Minerva as she departed

"What is going on with my daughter?" demanded the older Wizard

"Perhaps we should talk in private" Suggested Severus

"Of course, lead the way" Stated the Older Witch as they all went into Madame Pomphrey's office and a privacy ward was cast

"So, what is going on with my daughter, Professor Snape?" demanded the Older Wizard

"Lord and Lady Greengrass, it seems that a mix-up occurred, and your daughter drank the wrong vial a couple of days ago" Explained Severus

"Is she okay?" asked Lady Greengrass concerned

"Madame Pomphrey is doing a checkup; the error was just caught" Explained Severus

"How exactly did an error occur?" demanded Lord Greengrass

"I was bringing the right potion and another vial; Madame Pomphrey had mixed them up and gave her the vial instead of the potion. I had given the vial to be studied and checked it on this morning to see if the results were done" Explained Severus

"What exactly was in this other vial?" demanded Lord Greengrass

"Blood" Revealed Severus

"Blood?" asked Lady Greengrass for clarification

"Yes" Responded Severus

"Whose?" asked Lord Greengrass

"I cannot say, unfortunately" Replied Severus and as Lord Greengrass was going to retort, most likely to demand whose blood it was, Madame Pomphrey walked in with Astoria and Daphne. Astoria ran over to her mother who hugged her.

"Are you alright?" asked Lady Greengrass worried

"I am fine, Mother. I felt better than every actually" Replied Astoria

"What is your diagnosis, Madame?" asked Lord Greengrass

"I don't know why, but what every was in the vial actually improved her condition" Revealed Madame Pomphrey

"What was in the Vial?" asked Daphne

"Someone else's blood" Stated Lord Greengrass

"That … That is disgusting" Stated Astoria

"At least you are better, Tori" Whispered Daphne as she hugged Astoria

"I shall acquire another blood sample for Madame Pomphrey to study, as well as brew more of the potion" Stated Severus

"Can you not use the blood instead?" asked Daphne

"No, he couldn't. The Blood does not belong to him, I would like to talk to whosever blood this is. To exchange for some more" Stated Lord Greengrass

"I shall talk to them, the only thing I ask in exchange is to try not to find out whose blood it is. They have come to me anonymously and would not like to … have people in their business" Stated Severus

"Of course, and that goes for you too Daphne." Ordered Lord Greengrass

"Of course, Father" Replied Daphne

"We will have to see the effects of the blood before I can … recommend this treatment. I would like you, Ms. Greengrass to see me once every two days for a checkup or if you are feeling worse" Stated Madame Pomphrey

"Alright" Conceded Astoria

"I shall let you know what they say" Stated Severus as he departed

"Please do" Stated Lord Greengrass as Severus and Madame Pomphrey departed the room
