(Hogwarts: Gryffindor Common Room – a couple days later)

Harry was carefully entering the fourth years boy's dorm under his invisibility to catch whoever was defacing his bed. It has happened every night since he found it the first time, he heard a commotion in his room and slammed the door open to see Ron cutting into his bed.

"I knew it was you" Yelled Harry as Ron turned to him

"You are a cheater, Potter." Hissed Ron

"It doesn't give you the right to deface my mattress" Snapped Harry

"That is what cheaters deserve, for not being a true Gryffindor" Yelled Ron

"What is going on here?" demanded Professor McGonagall as she stood in the doorway not looking happy

"I caught Weasley carving into my bed, Professor, with a knife" Explained Harry

"He is lying, he was cutting it" Returned Ron

"I don't see a knife, let me see your wand, Mr. Weasley" Stated McGonagall as she walked into the room as Ron handed his wand over

"There are no cutting spells on here Potter did you cut your own bed?" asked McGonagall

"No, I didn't" Denied Harry

"I saw him do it" Stated a voice from the doorway and seeing Cormac McLaggen standing in the doorway

"Is this true Mr. McLaggen?" asked McGonagall

"It is" Stated Cormac

"One hundred points for lying to a professor and defacing school property. Twenty points each for telling the truth" Stated McGonagall as Harry stormed out of the room angry.

"Potter, come back here" Demanded McGonagall

"Professor" Stated Harry angrily

"I better not hear about any defaced mattresses, and framing classmates that you are having disagreements with is not allowed, am I clear" Demanded McGonagall

"Yes Professor" Stated Harry through Gritted teeth

"You are dismissed" Stated McGonagall as Harry once again stormed out of the common room

(Hogwarts: Snape's office)

Snape was doing some grading when he heard the door opened and turned to see who dared to barge into his quarters and paused seeing it was Harry and he looked angry.

"We aren't supposed to meet tonight" Remarked Snape

"I am sorry, I just needed to get away from my common room before I did something I would regret" Snapped Harry angry

"And what pray-tell got you angry?" Drawled Snape as he stopped grading papers

"Someone was carving cheater into my bed. I told McGonagall about it, and she said she couldn't do anything but repair it. It happened two more times after that, and she fixed it each time. I decided enough was enough and tried to catch the person responsible." Stated Harry

"And did you?" asked Snape

"Yeah, it was Ron. I started yelling at him and McGonagall came running in and Ron accused me when I accused him. She looked at his wand and stated he was innocent; Cormac was there for someone reason and backed up Ron. McGonagall believed them and took one hundred points and warned if it every happened again then I would be in more trouble. I just know that Ron will do it again and tell McGonagall about it" Explained Harry

"What was he using?" Inquired Snape

"A knife, I told her that and she didn't even look" Returned Harry

"And what can I do about it?" Drawled Snape

"Something. Anything. I can't stay in Gryffindor anymore. I cannot take it" Snapped Harry

"Manners" Hissed Snape

"Sorry professor, but the situation is annoying" Stated Harry

"I cannot overrider her punishment since she is deputy headmistress." Admitted Snape

"Then I am stuck with it" Stated Harry with a sigh

"Not necessarily, I do have a solution that might work. You would have to go to Flitwick" Shared Snape

"Why Professor Flitwick?" asked Harry confused

"If you explain what happened to him, he might see argue for you to be resorted. Resorting is not something done lightly, there are two ways for it to happen. The first is the student does not fit in the house any longer which is extremely rare." Revealed Snape

"And the second?" asked Harry

"Where they are either in danger or the head of house is neglecting them. Which is what you can argue that McGonagall is doing. She lets Malfoy and now your housemates get away with bullying and hurting you" Explained Snape

"Why do you let Malfoy get away it?" Demanded Harry

"Someone has to look out for the Slytherins since no one else would, I know it is not a good reason, but I do punish him in private" Revealed Snape

"Oh" Stated Harry

"Slytherins are seen as the villain enough as it is. Someone needs to stand up for them." Stated Snape

"Right, is there something exactly that I should cite?" asked Harry as Snape went to his bookshelf and produced a book

"This portion of the Hogwarts Charter has the relative documentation about resorting" Showed Snape

"Thank you" Stated Harry as he stood

"Potter" called out Snape

"Yes, Professor?" asked Harry

"If the worst case, Flitwick denies you I will argue for you" Stated Snape

"Thank you" Stated Harry as he departed Snape's office to see Flitwick

(Hogwarts: Flitwick's office)

Professor Filius Flitwick was grading some last papers before dinner when he heard a knock at his office door.

"Enter" Called out Flitwick as he saw Harry enter the room with a book in his hand

"Ah what can I do for you Mr. Potter" Stated Flitwick

"I was wondering on your help on a matter" asked Harry

"I will help if I can, but wouldn't you go to your head of house" Inquired Flitwick

"I … I don't mean to be rude, but Professor McGonagall is the problem professor" Revealed Harry as Flitwick frowned

"May I ask what is exactly that you need my help with?" asked Flitwick

"I want to be resorted" Revealed Harry as Flitwick was shocked, not in his tenure here did a student request a resorting

"This is not something to be taken lightly Mr. Potter" warned Flitwick

"I know professor, I did my research." Replied Harry

"And what did you find?" asked Flitwick curiously as what research Harry did, as Harry opened the Hogwarts charter and put the book on the desk.

"According to the Hogwarts charter a student can be resorted for one of two reasons. The first is the house is not a fit, and the second is if the student is either in danger or the head of house is neglecting in their duties of the student" Explained Harry

"And which one would you fall under Mr. Potter?" Inquired Flitwick

"The second one sir" Responded Harry

"I don't think that Professor McGonagall has been neglecting but I shall listen to your reasons" Stated Flitwick

"Thank you, Professor. Professor McGonagall lets the Slytherin, and other student harasses me since my name came out of the goblet and not once tried to defend me. Plus, she is blaming and punishing me for things that I was not at fault for" Explained Harry

"The first is obvious, could you give examples of the second?" asked Flitwick

"I can give two such examples. The first occurred shortly after my name came out of the tournament Malfoy tried to rile me up and I tried to walk away, Malfoy cast a spell at my back, and I turned with my wand drawn to cast a shield if I needed and Professor McGonagall came upon the seen and believed Draco without looking at his wand or even considering my word. The second occurred over the last couple of days, I had discovered that someone had been carving the word cheater into my bed. I went to Professor McGonagall, and she said she couldn't do anything but repair it. It occurred again over the next couple of days. Tonight, I attempted to catch whoever was responsible. It turned out it was Ron Weasley, I confronted him and shortly after I started, she came in. Weasley accused me after I had accused him and told her he did it with a knife. She checked his wand and didn't even check for a knife and then another Gryffindor came in and backed up Ron. She believed them and took points and warned me of further punishment if it happened again" Started Harry

"Would you mind giving me memories of these incidents?" asked Flitwick

"I will" Stated Harry as Flitwick got off his chair and until his office and returned with a Pensive

"Do you know how to use a pensive?" asked Flitwick

"No" Admitted Harry

"Simply think about the memories you want and put your wand into the basin" Instructed Flitwick as he put the pensive on the table and Harry approached it and put in the necessary memories

"I shall view the memories" Stated Flitwick as he jumped into the pensive before returning a couple of minutes later

"Please leave your memories in the pensive …. And you have my support in the matter, Mr. Potter" Stated Flitwick

"Thank you, Professor" Stated Harry

"You should return to your common room while I speak to the headmaster, I would not mention this to anyone" Warned Flitwick

"Of course, Professor … Thank you for your help" Stated Harry as he departed as Flitwick went to the Headmaster Office with the pensive
