-How Raditz became a martial arts instructor at a school for monsters-

Hell was a shitty place. Not just because of the fire, ash, smog, and lakes of blood. It was because there was nothing to do. For forty-eight years, Raditz sat alone in a damp, dark, and cold stone cell that was barely eight times the size of him. For the first two years he tried to escape, but the bars on the door held strong. Nothing he tried did even the slightest damage to the walls or the floor.

After finally giving up on escaping, he set about training his mind and tail. It took years, but he was finally able to control his Ozaru transformation and whether he transformed in the first place. Next, he spent time brooding over his loss to his younger brother. In his cell, he couldn't really get much power training done. That had to be intentional. Whatever those gods that sent him down here intended, it was clear that they wanted him to stay weak.

Weakness.

It was something Raditz was keenly familiar with, being at a meager power level of one thousand and four hundred. Even among Saiyans, he was on the weaker end. It ate away at him for years even when he was alive. It was something he carried with him for his entire life. The only solace he had was when he went to planets with even lower power levels than his own.

Now, he had acclimated to his cell quite well as he had nothing else to do. He was doing push-ups on the floor next to his bed when he heard something he would never have believed possible. The door to his cell is opening.

Looking up from his push-ups he saw a strange being standing in the doorway.

It was a tall humanoid being with pale blue skin, long white hair that stood up and curled at the tip like soft-serve ice cream, and long maroon robes. Around it's neck floating was a large ring of blue energy. It was rather effeminate, but Raditz still classified it as a he from what he could see.

"What do you want?" Raditz asked the being with an irritated tone. He had interrupted his training so naturally, Raditz would be irritated.

The being seemed to not be offended or even fazed by the rude greeting Raditz gave it.

"Hello Raditz. My name is Whis and I am here to make you an offer" The being spoke, it's voice soft but confident.

Raditz slowly got up and walked over to his bed. Sitting down on it, he asked Whis a question.

"Alright, tell me this offer. Anything is better than this shitty room. What is it?"

Whis smiled before saying his part.

"You know your little brother Kakarot has been up to some pretty impressive things these days?" Whis asked. Of course, Raditz wouldn't know this, but he asked this intentionally.

"What of it? He's no more my business than he was ten years ago" Raditz grunted out. His brother was a sore spot for him in even the best of times. Being in hell had only amplified those feelings, even after all these years.

"Well, he had talked to me recently. He said he wanted to give you another chance at life. You know he felt bad about what happened?" Whis asked, already knowing what Raditz would say.

"Little comfort that is. After almost fifty years he finally feels bad? Let me guess, he forgot about me for almost the entire time?" Raditz almost barked out. The feelings of shame and inferiority deep within his heart had never truly left even after all this time.

Whis remained silent, making no descriptive or prescriptive claims about Goku's memory.

Raditz narrowed his eyes and scoffed.

"So he did forget? That coward. Can't even remember his own brother" Raditz said with anger in his heart. However, if one were to look into his eyes very carefully, they would see the faint beginning of a tear forming for just a moment before Raditz blinked it away.

Snapping him out of his thought Whis got about to the offer.

"Deep within the remade South Quadrant of Galaxies is a planet Earth not unlike the one you know of. On it, there are monsters that hide away from humanity in another dimension" Whis started, however, Raditz cut him off.

"You're telling me Kakarot wants me to live with humans and these "Monsters" as you call them? Am I hearing that right?" Raditz scowled at his.

"Yes but more specifically he only wants you to live there for six years as a teacher in a school. After that, if you can do that without blowing up any planets or killing innocent people, you're free to live out your life as you please and all of your sins will be forgiven. It's a great deal if you ask me" Whis said with a chuckle.

This type of deal was a once in thousand-year opportunity and Raditz knew it. However, this did not mean Raditz was happy about it or looking forward to it. He didn't need Kakarot's sympathy damnit.

"Fine, Tell me what I need to do" Raditz asked with some difficulty.

"In the monster dimension, a small pocket reality connected to the planet I was talking about is a school for monsters. You're to be the martial arts instructor there, however, you will not under any circumstances teach these students Chi. Just teach them how to defend themselves and don't go overboard. Other than that I have set you up with a mansion on the planet and a fake Identity with plenty of money and servants" Whis said raising his right hand and materializing a large staff with a crystal ball at the top.

Spinning the staff, it glowed and covered both of them in soft white light. Then they both flickered before disappearing from the room, leaving it silent and empty.

And cut.

Till next time.
