(Hogwarts: Headmaster's Office)
Albus Dumbledore was sitting behind his desk as the four heads of house were in the office at the request of Professor Flitwick who had requested this meeting and brought along his personal pensive.
"May I ask why you called this meeting?" asked Albus
"Of course, Headmaster. I had a student approached me tonight about a very serious issue in which they have my support on" Stated Flitwick
"What did one of your Ravenclaw's do now" Sneered Snape, as he knew full well what Flitwick was calling the meeting about but had to act clueless
"It was not one of my Ravenclaw" Stated Flitwick
"Then what is it?" asked Sprout curiously
"A student wants to be resorted" Explained Flitwick
"Resorted?" Asked Albus shocked
"Yes, Headmaster." Confirmed Flitwick
"Resorting are not done" Argued Sprout
"Ah but they are, and such occurrences are rare. They found it in the Hogwarts charter did they" Stated Albus
"Yes, they did, and they claimed to fall under the second reason" Revealed Flitwick
"What was it Granger? I guarantee she read the entire book" sneered Snape
"Severus" Warned McGonagall
"Who is it, Professor Flitwick?" asked Albus
"Before I reveal who it is, I would like to say that I have memory proof of two such examples and the student in question was respectful about it." Stated Flitwick
"Alright" Conceded Albus
"The student is Harry Potter" Revealed Flitwick as everyone except Snape, who acted like he was, was surprised
"Potter?" asked McGonagall shocked
"I am sorry, Minerva" Apologized Flitwick
"Is this about the mattress incident? It was clear it was him" Stated McGonagall
"What Mattress incident?" asked Albus curiously
"Part of it yes. Potter had claimed that someone had been carving the word Cheater into his mattresses and told Professor McGonagall simply repaired it and it happened again two more times. Mr. Potter had caught the perpetrator, which was Mr. Weasley, and confronted him." Revealed Flitwick
"I had no evidence that Mr. Potter didn't do it. I checked Mr. Weasley's wand, and no cutting curse came up and Mr. McLaggen backed up Mr. Weasley" Argued McGonagall
"I saw the memory and Mr. Potter told you that Mr. Weasley did it with a knife that was not searched for" Revealed Flitwick
"Any other incidents?" asked Albus as he sighed
"One other. Mr. Malfoy had accosted Mr. Potter to rile him up and Mr. Potter tried walking away and Mr. Malfoy decided to cast a spell at his back. Mr. Potter turned around with his wand drawn, Professor McGonagall came upon the scene and was told the story and did not check Mr. Malfoy wand" Revealed Flitwick
"I assume these memories are in your pensive" Asked Albus
"They are, I already reviewed them" Stated Flitwick
"Two incidents are hardly worth a resorting" Argued Sprout
"Not combined no, but Mr. Potter also claims that Professor McGonagall ignored and did not provide any help when he was being harassed after his name came out of the Goblet. None of us did this either but Mr. Potter is in Gryffindor" Explained Flitwick
"We will need to view the memories" Stated Albus as they entered the memories and watched them before returning
"I shall issue an apologize and talk to Mr. Weasley and Mr. McLaggen" Stated McGonagall
"Unfortunately, that does not solve the problem, Mr. Potter has requested a resorting" Stated Flitwick
"Flitwick is right, Mr. Potter has requested a resorting. I am sorry Minerva, but I say we give it to him" Admitted Sprout
"I guess we are bringing it to a vote, with me being the tie breaker if necessary" decided Albus
"Against" Voted McGonagall
"For" Voted Sprout
"For" Voted Flitwick
"For" Voted Snape as everyone else was shocked
"Can you repeat that?" asked Albus
"I vote for the resorting" Repeated Snape as Albus sighed
"I am sorry, Minerva but the resorting has passed." Stated Albus sadly
"It is alright. I will be talking to my house and giving a month detention to Mr. McLaggen and two months to Mr. Weasley." Stated McGonagall
"I shall collect Mr. Potter so we can do it now" Stated McGonagall as she stood
Professor McGonagall enter the Gryffindor common room to retrieve Harry and saw him sitting in the corner reading a tome and approached him.
"Mr. Potter, if you would collect your trunk and other belongings and follow me" Stated McGonagall as Harry stood
"I have them right here, Professor." Stated Harry as he grabbed his trunk after putting his book in it
"Then follow me" Ordered McGonagall as Harry followed her out of the room, hopefully seeing the Gryffindor room for the last time as a student saw Harry leave with his trunk and went running back to their room to spread the news
"I am sorry for my role in what happened, Mr. Potter. I shall be having words with them tomorrow morning" Stated McGonagall
"I don't know what you want me to say professor" admitted Harry
"You don't have to say anything, I know you came to me with genuine concerns, and I blow you off. I should have listened to you, instead of taking the word of everyone else. I do not hold your resorting decision against you" Stated McGonagall as Harry nodded not really knowing to say to that as they approached the headmaster's office.
"Chocolate Frogs" Stated Minerva as the door opened and Harry entered, and saw the three other heads of houses and the headmaster
"Ah, Harry my boy" Stated Albus
"Headmaster, Professors" Greeted Harry
"Please take a seat" Stated Albus as he conjured another chair for Harry to sit on
"I assume you know why we called you here" Stated Albus
"My resorting sir" Replied Harry
"May I ask how you came upon the information?" inquired Albus
"I was reading about Hogwarts Charter and came upon the information." Lied Harry
"I see. A decision has been reached and your resorting has been approved." Shared Albus
"I see. It is being done now?" asked Harry
"If that is agreeable to you" Stated Albus as he waved his wand, and the Gryffindor colors were removed from his robes
"It would" Stated Harry politely, not wanting to make McGonagall upset, as Albus stood and retrieved the sorting hat
"Ah, it is that time already?" Stated the Sorting hat
"No, alas a student has requested a resorting and it was approved" Explained Albus
"A resorting, that has not happened in ages." Stated the Sorting Hat
"Really?" inquired Flitwick
"Oh yes, the last one was a Potter I believe and in the 1840s I believe" Shared the sorting hat
"Ah, it is young Mr. Potter who is being resorted" Explained Albus
"Well let me do my job" Stated the Sorting Hat as Harry was passed the hat before sighing and putting the hat on.
"Ah, let me take a look to where to put you this time. I know Gryffindor is out" Stated the Sorting Hat
"Ravenclaw" Stated Harry
"I stand by my original suggestion of Slytherin. I see that Hufflepuff is out" Replied the Sorting Hat
"Why Slytherin?" asked Harry
"You do have many traits of that house; I must admit that I don't know how much is the piece of the extra soul or yours" Shared the sorting hat
"Extra piece of soul" Demanded Harry
"The extra piece of soul in your scar. I take it you didn't know" Stated the Sorting Hat
"No, I didn't" Returned Harry
"Hmmm, that means that Slytherin is out and that only leaves Ravenclaw … so it better be Ravenclaw" Called out the sorting hat
"Ah most unexpected" Summarized Albus
"May I ask why you had the expression of horror at one point?" Drawled Snape as Harry gulped not wanting everyone in the room to know
"It … um wanted to put me into Slytherin. I know my housemates wouldn't appreciate being in that house" Stated Harry as he told a version of the truth as Snape narrowed his eyes at him, knowing that he was not telling the truth but and would get the answer out of him later
"There is nothing wrong with Slytherins, Harry" Stated Albus
"I am sorry, Professor" Apologized Harry
"Flitwick, I shall leave him in your hands" Stated Albus
"Thank you, come along Mr. Potter I shall take you to your new common room" Stated Flitwick as Harry picked up his trunk and followed behind Professor Flitwick
(Hogwarts: Ravenclaw Common Room)
"In order to enter the common room, you need to answer a riddle. If you cannot answer it then simply wait for another student" Stated Flitwick as they approached the door to the Ravenclaw common room
"Alright" Stated Harry
"As you know, Ravenclaw takes its academic grades seriously and punishments are handed out if your grades are bad. They will not be as bad for you this year since you are participating in the tournament but that does not mean that you can start failing" Explained Flitwick
"Of course, Professor" Stated Harry
"What belongs to you, but others use it more?" asked the door
"Why don't you give it a try, Mr. Potter" Stated Flitwick
"Your name" guessed Harry as the door opened
"Good job, please wait here while I call a meeting" Stated Flitwick as he wandered off as Harry took in the Ravenclaw common room
"What are you doing here, Potter" Demanded Cho as she noticed Potter standing by the door
"Waiting for Professor Flitwick" Answered Harry
"You can do that outside" Stated Cho, clearly not noticing the changes of Harry's robe colors
"He told me to wait here" Responded Harry as Cho was about to respond, the Ravenclaw all came into the room
"Ms. Chang, Mr. Potter is with me. Please join your classmates" Stated Flitwick as Cho glared at him before joining her classmates
"I apologize for calling you out so late, but I have an announcement to make. Mr. Potter has been resorted into Ravenclaw" Revealed Flitwick as Cho gasped and turned to Harry and noticed the Ravenclaw colors on his robes and murmurs were heard
"I thought students couldn't get resorted" asked a Ravenclaw
"They can, it cannot be simply because you want to change house. There must be a valid reason for it and Mr. Potter had a reason. He was resorted under the sorting hat tonight" Explained Flitwick
"Why was he resorted?" asked Cho as Harry stepped forward, wanting to answer for himself
"Professor McGonagall did not have my best interests at heart. Not to be rude, but she punished me for things that was not my fault and did not defend me from harassment after my name came out of the goblet. Which let me make clear, I did not enter myself" Answered Harry
"I hope you make Mr. Potter feel welcome. That is all. Mr. Potter you will be staying in the Head Boy Ravenclaw quarters for the night and tomorrow a bed will be put in with the rest of the fourth-year boys" Explained Flitwick
"Thank you, Professor" Stated Harry
"Let me show you where the head boy room and the fourth-year boys' dorms are" Stated Flitwick as he went up the staircase as Harry followed behind
