(Hogwarts: Ravenclaw common room – next morning)
Harry woke up and looked around the room he found himself after the events of last night, his resorting into Ravenclaw. Part of that good news was immediately was immediately killed by the reminder that he had an extra piece of soul somewhere in him, and Harry immediately thought it was Voldemort's, he was going to see Snape tonight and tell him. He got out of bed and went to the bathroom, noticing it was early than he usually got up, and getting ready for the table before staring at the Ravenclaw colors on his robes, before making his way to the Common Room and seeing a few students already in the common room. He found a chair before talking his book about magical languages and started to read it as someone sat down.
"Do you mind if I sit?" asked a male Ravenclaw
"Go ahead" Stated Harry
"Terry Boot" Introduced the Ravenclaw as he offered his hand
"Harry Potter" Stated Harry as he Shaked Terry's hand
"No offense, but I didn't see you as a Ravenclaw" Stated Terry
"The tournament I suppose, had to learn these things to survive" admitted Harry
"Yeah, and I don't know how anyone would think that you entered yourself. I mean I don't really know you, but how could a teenager confound a supposedly powerful magical artifact" Stated Terry
"Thank you" Stated Harry gratefully
"For what?" asked Terry confused
"For believing me, not a lot of people do" Shared Harry
"Then they aren't using their brains. How do you find out that freezing spell would work on the Dragons? Or the Stunners for that reason?" asked Terry
"Well, I thought Dragon are like reptiles and reptiles are affected by the temperature so I figured the freezing spell would affect them. As for the Stunners, I remember reading that Dragon Tamers would use them to knock out the dragons. It does take a lot of stunners to do so which is why I cast as many as I did" Shared Harry
"They said something about a clue for the second task" Stated Terry
"Yeah, it was the egg that I had to retrieve. When I open it, it screeches. I think that maybe it is in another language" admitted Harry
"I would recommend ask Lovegood. A lot of people in the house, especially Cho and her clique, don't really like her. She does know a lot about magical creatures, even if some that she claims to know of haven't been discovered" admitted Terry
"Thank you" Stated Harry
"It is no, problem. She isn't down here yet; I can point her out during breakfast … speaking of which I am about to go down? Want to come?" asked Terry
"Sure" Stated Harry
(Hogwarts: Gryffindor common room)
The rumor mill, at least in Gryffindor, was in full swing and the current rumor that Harry Potter was expelled from Hogwarts for either defacing his mattress and framing a fellow Gryffindor or being finally caught entering his name into the Goblet.
"Is it true that Harry got expelled?" asked Ginny as she saw Hermione by herself, as Ron was telling everyone what happened the night before
"I don't know, we haven't really been talking. I did hear Professor McGonagall came and took him with her and he took his trunk." Admitted Hermione
"He wasn't in his bed last night" Stated Neville
"I mean they wouldn't expel him for lying and framing Ron, would they?" asked Ginny worried
"I don't think they can expel someone for that" Reassured Hermione
"Maybe he left" Stated Neville
"He has to participate in the entire tournament, he can't just leave" Argued Hermione
"I am sure he will be back today" Stated Ginny
(Hogwarts: Dining Hall)
Harry was sitting near Terry as more people started to enter the dining hall, as Terry stopped from eating his food and turned to end of the table.
"Lovegood is at the end of the table" Pointed out Terry
"Thanks, I'll talk to her after I finish my breakfast" Stated Harry as Flitwick approached them
"Mr. Potter here is your new schedule. Your bed will be in fourth year boy's dorm by the end of the day" Stated Flitwick
"Thank you, Professor" Stated Harry as he took the schedule as Flitwick departed
"What classes are you taking?" inquired Terry
"Divination and Creatures" admitted Harry as Terry winced
"Creatures isn't bad, but Divination … I don't mean to be rude but why are you taking the class" asked Terry
"It seemed interesting; I didn't know you had to be a seer to take the class. Professor McGonagall never told us these things" Admitted Harry
"It is a shame" admitted Terry as Dumbledore stood and clicked the side of his goblet with his fork
"May I have your attention for a minute. There is an announcement I need to make" Stated Dumbledore as he stood, the tables quieted shortly after that, and all attention was on Dumbledore
"Last night, Hogwarts History was made. A Student unfortunately asked to be Resorted, which is a thing to not be taken lightly as there has to be a valid reason for the Resorting and it has to be approved. And it cannot be undone." Revealed Dumbledore as murmurs were heard around the room as the other houses, besides Ravenclaw, looked around for someone missing
"The student who was resorted, was none other than Mr. Potter. Mr. Potter has been resorted into Ravenclaw" Revealed Dumbledore as all attention turned to Harry and the Ravenclaw table
"That is all" Stated Dumbledore as he sat back down
"Potter" Stated Fleur from further down the table
"Fleur" Returned Harry as he turned to her
"Why did you get resorted?" demanded Fleur
"I don't want to encourage even more rumors about me" Returned Harry
"Like the one that you killed a Basilisk with the sword of Gryffindor?" Stated Terry
"And who did you hear that from?" asked Harry
"A portrait in Dumbledore's office" Supplied Terry
"You … You killed a Basilisk?" Asked Fleur shocked
"I think it is a rumor, I mean where would you find a thousand old year Basilisk now a days?" Stated Harry as Terry chuckled as Fleur huffed and went further down the table
"Did you real kill with a sword though?" asked Terry
"Yeah, but if you tell anyone I will deny it." Stated Harry
"Don't worry your secret is safe with me" Promised Terry as Harry stood and approached the end of the table where a blonde girl was eating her breakfast
"Lovegood?" asked Harry as the girl turned to him
"Oh, yes that is me … Luna Lovegood" Stated the girl dreamy
"Harry Potter" Introduced Harry as he sat
"You don't have as many nargles around you as usually" Stated Luna
"Uh thanks, I was hoping you would help me with something" Stated Harry
"You want to know about Crumple-Horned Snorkack?" asked Luna
"Uh I don't know what that is" Stated Harry confused
"No one does, Daddy is trying to find one still" Stated Luna
"I had heard you know a lot about magical languages" asked Harry
"I do happen to know a few; do you need to speak to the merpeople?" asked Luna
"No, I have my clue for the second task, and it is in another language. The egg lets out screeches" admitted Harry
"Oh, I don't mind taking a look. In exchange for some pudding" Stated Luna
"Alright, I'll bring you some pudding tonight" Promised Harry
"Alright" Stated Luna as Harry departed before returning to where Terry was sitting
"So how did it go?" asked Terry
"It was weird, she did promise to take a look in exchange for some pudding. Going to have to find out where the kitchen is" Stated Harry
"I bet a lot of people want to know where the kitchens are" admitted Terry
"I am sure I kind find out" Stated Harry as he remembered about the Marauders Map
(Hogwarts: Hallway)
Harry was leaving Potions with Terry, who was his partner for the day. It was refreshing to not have to worry about anyone throwing stuff into his potions. He knew that the Hufflepuffs wouldn't do that since that was against what they were for, and none of his housemates disliked, to his knowledge.
"I heard you were bad at potions" Noted Terry as they walked down the hallway, leaving the dungeons
"I am alright, Malfoy and most recently Weasley used to throw stuff into my potions" Shared Harry
"How did they get away with it?" Stated Terry as he shakes his head
"I don't know" admitted Harry as he looked around, before taking out the Marauders Map
"What is that?" asked Terry as he saw the parchment that Harry had out
"Something that belonged to my father … I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" Stated Harry as he pointed his wand at the page as it unfolded into a map of Hogwarts
"Whoa … is that a map of Hogwarts? Hogwarts is supposed to be unplottable" Exclaimed Terry
"Yeah, my dad and his friends made it. I don't know how. I figured I could use it to find the kitchens" admitted Harry
"I see Weasley is in McGonagall's office …. And why is Barty Crouch in the same room as Alastor Moody?" asked Terry as he glanced at the map
"I don't know. He might be visiting about the tournament." Theorized Harry
"I would check later if he was here, I don't know something is wrong with Professor Moody. He keeps sipping that flask, every hour on the clock" admitted Terry
"He must like whatever he is drinking" Stated Harry
"Maybe a bit too much" Stated Terry
"Yeah, ah here it is." Stated Harry as he located the Kitchen
"The Hufflepuffs are lucky" admitted Terry
"I know … you wouldn't tell anyone about the map, will you?" asked Harry
"Nah, I would like to look at it some point if that's cool" Stated Terry
"Thanks" Stated Harry as he made his way to the kitchens
(Hogwarts: Kitchens)
After Harry's last class of the day, he made his way to the kitchen and read on the map that he had to tickle the pear which he did, doing so revealed the kitchens and he was instantly bombarded by a familiar house elf.
"Dobby, what are you doing here?" asked Harry with a frown
"Dobby be working for Headmaster as Free Elf" Stated Dobby
"That is good, I was wondering if I could get some pudding" Asked Harry
"The Great Harry Potter wants pudding?" asked Dobby
"Yeah, I need to trade it to someone so they can help me find a clue" Explained Harry
"Oh, Dobby heard about the nasty tournament" admitted Dobby
"Yeah, and so I would like you to deliver some pudding to someone at dinner tonight" Stated Harry
"Whose Dobby be delivering it to?" asked Dobby as Harry retrieved a piece of parchment and wrote something on it
"Luna Lovegood, and deliver this too please" Stated Harry
"Dobby be delivering it to Ms. Lovegood at dinner with big bowl of pudding" Stated Dobby as Harry laughed
"Where you around when the Goblet was here?" asked Harry
"Oh yes, Master Harry. Such a terrible artifact" admitted Dobby
"Did you see anyone suspicious around it?" asked Harry
"Dobby did not, but Dobby will be asking around and letting Master Harry know" Stated Dobby
"Thanks Dobby" Stated Harry
(Hogwarts: Dining Hall)
Luna was sitting at the end of her table when a big bowl of pudding and a note underneath it, she looked at the note and glanced over at Harry who was talking to Terry and nodded in his direction which he returned as the tables began to murmur about Luna getting a big bowl of pudding.
"Ms. Lovegood, do you know why a big bowl of pudding appeared in front of you?" asked Flitwick came walking over
"Oh, a friend gave it to me" Stated Luna dreamily as she picked up her spoon as Flitwick cast some spells over it
"It is safe, enjoy Ms. Lovegood" Stated Flitwick as he departed as Snape gave a look to Harry
