(Hogwarts: Ravenclaw common room)
Harry was sitting in a corner of the Ravenclaw common room with the golden egg in his lap with Terry sitting next to him and Luna sitting across from him.
"Maybe we should go somewhere private. The egg is loud" Suggested Harry
"I can cast the Imperturbable Charm; it should block the sound" Stated Terry
"Can you teach me that later?" asked Harry
"If you teach me the Patronus" Offered Terry
"I can teach it to you, not no guarantee that you will succeed" Stated Harry
"Alright, we can do that another day" Stated Terry as he cast the charm
"May I?" asked Luna as Harry handed over the egg and she opened it as Harry and Terry held their ears
"Hmm, it sounds like Mermish" admitted Luna dreamily
"Can you translate it?" asked Harry
"Not here no, you would need to go underwater to do so. It should sound normal" admitted Luna
"Thank you for your help" Stated Harry
"And thank you for the big bowl of pudding" Stated Luna
"What are friends for" admitted Harry
"We are friends?" Stated Luna with a frown
"Yeah" Stated Harry
"Uh, sure" Stated Terry
"I don't have any friends" Stated Luna
"Well, you do now" Stated Harry with a smile which Luna returned as Terry sighed
(Hogwarts: Snape's office)
"I have confirmed that Black has made you his heir, making you the heir to both House Potter and House Black" Stated Snape as put a piece of parchment forward
"How did you find out?" asked Harry
"The Blacks have a tapestry, which records birth and deaths. It also shows the current heir and lord of the house. I managed to visit the Black ancestral home, which Black is staying at. He does not know that me or you know." Explained Snape
"Alright" Stated Harry
"I must warn you, the current House Black house elf. An Old house elf named Kreacher does not like Sirius that much. I had to use him to get into the Tapestry room, and he knows that you are the heir and agreed to keep the secret in exchange for a visit when school lets out in May" Warned Snape
"Why doesn't he like Sirius?" asked Harry
"That is a story for another time. This parchment allows me to be your representative for House Black during negotiations I will fill it with the Ministry among other files and hope it slips up unnoticed. I may have to allow the current holder of the Wizagamont seat holder to remain." Warned Snape
"And who is that?" asked Harry
"Lucius Malfoy, I know it is not ideal. But if I was to change it then it would be revealed that you are Heir Black. You can always change it at a later time" Stated Snape
"Why would we want the negotiations to remain secret?" asked Harry
"Some people might try to stop it, especially Dumbledore. If we use this like I want to" Stated Snape
"And how do you want to use it?" Demanded Harry
"So, you don't have to return to your aunt." Explained Snape
"They would house me in exchange for my blood" asked Harry skeptically
"That is a possible agreement, but I don't think it will be that simple. I do have a theory on what they will offer" Stated Snape
"Ok" Stated Harry
"I assume you read about Betrothal contracts" Questioned Snape as Harry paled
"I have to get betrothed" Exclaimed Harry
"You do not have to do anything, but it is most likely what they will offer. Blood is important in the wizarding world as you no doubt know. One does not simply give away their blood for just anything, it is important" Explained Snape
"I don't want to marry her" argued Harry
"Have you meet Astoria Greengrass?" asked Snape
"No" admitted Harry
"Then you never even meet her. Another plus would be that it would keep the Black money out of hands of the Dark Lord should he come back. Draco's mother is a black and he could challenge your heirship. Being betrothed would make it harder for them to do it." Explained Snape
"I am related to Draco?" asked Harry
"All purebloods are related somewhere. I will have to tell Flitwick about this." Explained Snape
"About you tutoring me?" asked Harry
"No, I shall not mention it. I shall tell him that I had you donate a blood sample after seeing a fang in your arm and go from there." Stated Snape
"Ok" Stated Harry
"Was Ms. Lovegood any help?" asked Snape
"Yes, she determined it was in Mermish. She said that I would have to go underwater and then open it so I can hear the clue" Stated Harry
"Good job. Do you have a place to hear it?" asked Snape
"I was thinking the lake" admitted Harry sheepishly
"No, the prefect's bathroom will be sufficient. This one time I shall give you a password" Stated Snape as he wrote something on the parchment
"Thank you" Stated Harry as he stood
"Do not be late tomorrow and wear your best robes" Stated Snape
"I will" Stated Harry
"Ah you wanted to see me, Severus?" asked Flitwick as he entered Snape's office
"I did, it involves one of your Ravenclaws" Shared Snape as Flitwick took a seat
"Oh dear, they didn't cause any trouble, did they?" asked Flitwick
"None are in trouble, although it a delicate matter" admitted Snape
"Go ahead and explain it" Stated Flitwick
"In the beginning of November, when Mr. Potter was still in Gryffindor. I had called him up to test a healing potion and made a small cut on his upper arm and stumbled upon a piece of a snake fang" Explained Snape
"I knew there were rumors that he fought a basilisk" Exclaimed Flitwick
"He told me that he killed with the sword of Gryffindor but not before it bite him, he was healed shortly after" Stated Snape
"Phoenix Tears" Guessed Flitwick
"Yes." Answered Snape
"Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Did you remove it?" asked Flitwick
"I did try, but it had a negative reaction I am brewing the appropriate potions still. I had taken a sample for Madame Pomphrey to take a look at it, anonymously of course, well you heard about Ms. Greengrass potion issue" Stated Snape
"Yes, you had taken her out of my class. I had heard it was a potion issue" admitted Flitwick
"Madame Pomphrey gave her Potter's blood instead of the potion" Sneered Snape
"Oh dear" Stated Flitwick
"It turns out to be a good thing. Potter's blood actually lessened the effects of her blood curse, I of course I had to tell the Greengrass's, and they want a meeting with him." Explained Snape
"I assume you are telling me so that I will allow him to attend?" asked Flitwick
"Yes" Answered Snape
"I will need to talk to his guardian to release him in their care for the day" Stated Flitwick
"His guardians are not relevant in the matter, they are muggles" Revealed Snape
"Then I cannot allow him to attend, with a magical representative" Stated Flitwick sadly
"Sirius Black made Potter his heir, and Potter is attending as Heir Black. He made me his representative, it is all right here" Stated Snape as slide a copy of the paperwork over as Flitwick read it and cast some spells on it
"Then I grant my permission, Severus. I do want to thank you" Stated Flitwick
"What for?" asked Severus
"Helping Mr. Potter preparing for the tournament" Stated Flitwick as Snape stood
"Did he tell you that?" replied Snape
"He didn't have to. I had suspected he was getting help from someone in the staff. The fact that he had detentions with you as often as he did, as well the copy of the Hogwarts charter that he brought to my office I knew was yours. I am grateful that someone is helping him, I would have helped him had he asked me. Do not worry I shall not tell anyone" Explained Flitwick as Snape sat down
"I would ask that you not tell Albus or Minerva about our meeting with the Greengrass's" Stated Snape
"I shall agree as long as I talk to him before anything is officially signed, to make sure he is not being tricked in any way" Responded Flitwick
"That is fair" Admitted Snape
(Hogwarts: Prefect's bathroom)
Harry was in the prefect's bathroom in a bathing suit and had the egg in his hand and started to approach the tub, and was momentarily amazed at its size before returning to his task at hand, and getting closer to the tub and preparing to put the egg underwater with a piece of parchment nearby to record the clue if need by as he put the egg underwater and put his head under as he quickly opened the egg as the sound coming out of the egg and listening to it before coming back to the surface before quickly writing the clue down.
"What I miss most" Remarked Harry confused as he read the clue, still confused but there was time to worry about that later.
