Chapter 4

The next day, Loona wakes up and is already dressed. She still feels tired so she simply grabs some leftovers from the fridge and eats it after heating it up. Loona groans tiredly as she is having her breakfast. She also plays with her phone as she eats. Then hears a knock on the door. Loona simply stops eating and walks to the door. Then opens it to see Moxxie and Millie.

"Great. You two are here," Loona says, annoyed and tired.

"Good morning, Loona," Moxie calmly says.

Millie happily says, "Morning Loona. How are you and blitz doing?"

"Doing alright, I guess. I don't know how Blitz is doing, I assume he's still asleep," Loona says.

"I'll go check on him," Moxxie says, and walks to Blitz's bedroom door.

Millie walks to Loona and asks, "So Loona, anything interesting happens?"

"I barely woke up and started eating so nothing out of the ordinary. Except I haven't heard Blitz's coughing. I suspect he was able to sleep better and able to get better," Loona says.

"That's a good sign," Millie says, happily.

Moxxie walks to the door of Blitz's bedroom, and knocks on it, but Blitz is not answering.

He knocks again and calls out, "Blitz? Sir? It's me, Moxxie? Are you up?"

But Blitz is not answering.

"Um, I'm going to come in, so sorry for intruding," Moxxie answers.

Moxxie then opens the door and quietly walks inside. But when he enters the room, the bed is practically empty.

Confused, Moxie calmly calls out, "Blitz?"

Moxxie walks inside the room and on his bed to see he isn't here, and the bed is a bit sloppy so he was sleeping there.

"Where could he have…" Moxxie asks himself, but notices, "Huh? What's this?"

What Moxxie sees is a piece of paper that has been folded on Blitz's pillow. Moxie then picks up the paper, unfolds it to find something writing on it. Whatever it's written, has Moxxie creates a stunned and frightened look on his face.

"Oh crumbs," Moxxie says, shocked.

In the kitchen, Millie asks, "So Loona, any plans you have today?"

"Not really," Loona says.

Moxie hurries out of the room in a panic, "Millie. Loona. We have a problem."

"What is it, Moxxie?" Millie asks.

Before Moxxie can answer, there is a knock on the door.

"I'll get it," Loona says.

She opens the door and says to the others, "Guys, the bird brain's here!"

Loona steps aside and Stolas walks into the apartment. This time, he is holding a kind of bag.

"Hello everyone. How is Blitz doing?" Stolas asks with a smile.

Millie turns to Moxxie, "So how is Blitz doing? Is he feeling any better today?"

Moxie nervously rubs the back of his head and says, "Actually, we have a serious problem."

"What is it?" Stolas asks.

Moxxie hands Stolas the paper he has found on the bed, "It's best if you read this and you'll know."

Confused, Stolas takes the paper and begins to read it. To say Stolas is shocked is an understatement. Just then, the red aura surrounds his body and is more than just shocked and angry. He looks like he's about to go supernova.

Meanwhile, Blitz begins to wake up, but still feels sick and groggy. He lets out a groan and slowly opens his eyes. A bit hazy, but he can tell that the walls he is seeing aren't from his room.

"Whe-where… where am I?" Blitz asks, groggy.

Blitz tries to move, but can't seem to feel his arms moving. Almost like, something is keeping his arms in place. He tries the same with his legs and his tail, but is unable to move them either. He is weak and tired, he slowly moves his head up a bit to find that his wrists are tied to what seems like a square metal support beam above his head.

"Wha-what?" Blitz softly asks himself.

He tries to move, but the rope tied on his wrists to the beam is tight. He slowly looks down to see his tail has been tied to a boulder by a chain, and his legs are tied together, and the rope is also connected to a beam, forcing him to a sitting position. He continues to struggle, but to no avail. His arms, legs, and tail are restrained, and he's still weak and sick. He coughs a few times.

"What happened? How… How did I get here?" Blitz tiredly asks.

Suddenly, he begins to hear rattling sounds coming from behind him. Blitz tries to turn his head, but isn't able to see the source, but the sound seems very familiar.

Yet Blitz weakly asks, "Who is there?"

He continues to hear the rattling noise and now realizes what it seems familiar.

Before he can think of it, someone says, "Well howdy there, bossman."

Blitz quickly turns around and he is shocked and still groggy. He sees a familiar Imp with a serpent appearance, with a pale red skin, evil sharp teeth smile with a gold tooth, yellow eyes with green rings around it, and is wearing a southern cowboy attire, and his tail shakes a bit making the rattle sound.

"It's s'well to see you again, Blitz," The Imp says.

Stunned, Blitz says, "S-Striker? Wha… how…?"

"Didn't think it will be the last time you'll be seein' me huh," Striker says with an evil smirk.

"What the fuck are you doing here? Where am I?" Blitz asks, weakly and anger begins to rise in his voice.

He begins to struggle to break free, but the ropes have tied him tight. Soon, he begins coughing, and it sounds worse.

Blitz mutters, "Shit. I… I think this flu is worse than I thought." and continues coughing.

Striker chuckles with an evil grin and kneels down towards Blitz He then cuffs his chin with one hand and has Blitz facing him and his glowing yellow and green color eyes.

"Can't fight in your little condition huh? Sick and weak, unable to move like a weak little vermin," Striker says, in remark.

Blitz strikes to pull his head away, but he's still too weak to break free from Striker's strong grip.

Then the serpent Imp pulls Blitz's chin upper, "Makes it a lot easier to kill you, just by choking you by your neck."

Then his rattling tail begins to coil around Blitz' neck. Striker's tail presses pressure on Blitz' neck, but not enough to choke him. Blitz actually becomes frightened that he has been restrained, and is at the Imp's mercy.

"However, you are proven to be useful," Striker says.

"What do you mean?" Blitz asks, tiredly.

Striker chuckles, "Simple, you are the only one who can help me draw out that ditzy blueblood over here."

Then brings out a revolver that is very familiar to a rifle Striker has before, back in the Wrath Ring.

"You're going to help me finish the job I started," Striker adds.

Blitz soon realizes what Striker is implying.

Seeing the shocked look on Blitz's face, Striker smirks and says, "I can see you figure that out huh."

"So… I'm bait for Stolas…" Blitz asks, shocked.

"You got that right. You're his little plaything. I'm sure he'll want you back if he knows what's good for you," Striker says, and presses some pressure around Blitz's neck with his tail.

Then holds out his gun, "And when he does arrive, it will be time for huntin'."

Blitz struggles weakly to break free and knows that if Striker is right, Stolas is going to get killed when he finds out Striker has kidnapped him. He can only think of how Striker plans to lure him to wherever he is.

"You… you won't…" Blitz says, and coughs a bit, "Stolas won't…"

"Oh, I'm sure he will. Seeing how I have his favorite little toy here," Striker says, and puts the gun away.

Then brings out what seems to be a piece of long cloth, "Until then, it's best you get comfortable. You're going to be here until that pompous Goeita arrives."

Before Blitz can reach, Striker wraps the cloth over his mouth and ties it behind his back. The cloth has been tied around him pretty tight, so is the knot behind his head. Blitz tries to cry out as he moves his head around, but isn't able to make a sound, even his coughing is proven difficult.

Once he's done, Striker takes his leave and says, "Hope you're ready to see him if he show up, Blitzy."

Striker then leaves the scene, leaving Blitz alone. Blitz stops struggling and coughs inside the bag he has. Because of his flu and struggling, Blitz feels worse and on the verge of unconsciousness. Without any source of help, Blitz is now Striker's prisoner and being used as bait for Stolas.

Back in Blitz's apartment, Loona looks at the note while Millie and Moxxie are trying to calm Stolas down who is still furious and is about to explode.

Loona reads, "Prince Stolas,

"I have your precious little plaything. If you want him back alive, go to the warehouse district on the outskirts of the east side of the city. Come alone, and don't even think about bringing his colleagues here. If you don't believe me, there is a photo as proof. Remember, come alone, or risk your little plaything dead.

From, Striker."

There at the bottom of the letter is a picture of Blitz who is asleep with his wrists, ankles, and tail restrained, and it appears he is unharmed. For now.

"Fuck this is serious," Loona says.

"Yeah. We suspect Striker would be back, but this…" Millie says.

She punches her fist on the palm of her other hand, "This is going too far now."

Moxie asks, Stolas in concern, "Are you going to be okay?"

"Of course, I'm not okay. My Blitzy has been kidnapped and we're just standing here. Why aren't we doing something to rescue him," Stolas yells, clearly upset.

"Calm down bird brain. We are going to get Blitz back, but we can't risk anything happening, especially what he tried to do at the festival," Loona says.

"Loona's right, your highness. Striker tried to kill you at the festival, and will try again if you go there," Moxie says.

"And knowing Striker, he might try to kill Blitz too," Millie says.

"But there must be something we can do to save Blitz. Blitz is still sick. He might not be able to defend himself in his condition," Stolas says, worried.

"We need to come up with a plan," Millie says.

"And fast. I can suspect that if Stolas comes or not, Blitz won't be able to get out of this alive," Loona says.

"But how do we do that. Striker made it specific that he wants Stolas to go there alone. Without any of us there," Moxxie says.

The group begins to think of a plan.

Luckily, Loona says with a smirk on her face, "I think I might have an idea on how to turn the tables on that asshole."
