"Haruhi! Haruhi! Please!" Tamaki begged as Haruhi get pulling on his tie, choking him.
"There will be no mercy this time Suoh! Your pleases will have no affect on me!" Haruhi snapped as she pulled at his tie one last time, making Tamaki hit his face on top of the sofa. He then stumbled backwards onto the ground.
Haruhi stood high on the top of the sofa, looking down at him.
"I will finish you now!" she declared, before looking upwards and noticing the twins.
"Oh and the Hitachiins!" she growled, "you too will meet your end today!"
"Us? What did we do?" Hikaru and Kaoru asked.
"You know! Worst being, siding with Suoh!" Haruhi said pointing down at Tamaki still splayed across the floor.
Haruhi looked around and suddenly saw one of the prop swords from yesterday.
She did a sudden leap off of the sofa and even managed to do a flip in midair, before sticking a perfect landing next to the sword and grabbing it.
"Die Suoh!" Haruhi shouted as she ran towards him with the sword.
Tamaki barley managed to look up in time to see Haruhi coming at him mad.
"Ah!" he shouted as he rolled out of the way.
Haruhi growled as she quickly switched position and tried going after him again. Only when she went to strike at Tamaki, he dodged it and Haruhi bent it against the sofa.
"What kind of trickery is this?!" Haruhi snapped mad, "it this one of your sick twisted jokes Suoh?! Where is my real sword! Return it to me now!"
"I, uh, well, um," Tamaki sputtered.
Haru-Chan, try to calm down," Hunny spoke up.
"Haruhi paused and looked over at him.
"Mitskuni!" she said before walking over and bowing to him.
"Forgive me, but when I saw Suoh, my anger got the better of me!"
"Oh, okay," Hunny said, "well let's just try and keep it cool, okay?"
"Very well," Haruhi reluctantly agreed. "What is the current situation? Have we been captured or have we successfully captured them?" She pointed her bented sword at Tamaki and the twins.
"Uh, well," Hunny sputtered.
"And why are you in such peculiar garments?" Haruhi said as she reached out to feel Hunny's uniform. "And why am I wearing them as well? As well as those three?"
"Um," Hunny tried to figure out what to say.
"And where are we exactly? Why are we no longer on the battlefield?"
"Battlefield?" Hunny asked.
"And who is this?" Haruhi asked pointing her sword at Kyoya.
"You don't know Kyo-Chan?" Hunny asked.
"No, I am unaware of anyone by the name of Kyochan," Haruhi said, eyeing Kyoya suspiciously. "Is he a new ally of ours? Or worse, is he one of Suou!"
Haruhi started to march towards Kyoya with her bent sword out in front her. She still managed to look scary and intimidating. "Is that who you are! Have you captured us for Suoh!"
"I assure you I have not," Kyoya said calmly, "I am neither with you nor with Suoh. I am merely an observer of sorts."
"An observer?" Haruhi said, "an observer of what?"
"Just of big and important events," Kyoya said.
"Oh, like our war no doubt?" Haruhi mentioned.
"Yes, I suppose," Kyoya replied, "I am very curious about this war."
Haruhi turned and glared at Tamaki and the twins.
"Well one thing you should know, those three are viale and treacherous! Most certainly not to be trusted!" She insisted mad with murder in her eye.
The three boys all ran and hid behind the sofa scared.
"I see," Kyoya said as he wrote everything down, "please, continue."
"Hey Boss," Hikaru whispered, "do you think we should try hitting Haruhi with the scepter again?"
"Maybe we shouldn't just in case," Tamaki advised.
"Are you just scared of going closer to her?" Kaoru asked.
"She wants to kill us! Aren't you?!" Tamaki snapped.
"Don't worry, I won't let her kill you," Hunny promised, "She seems to trust me for some reason."
"Thank you Hunny-Senpai!" the three said.
"I am very curious exactly what kind of world this Haru-Chan think she lives in," Hunny pondered.
"Haruhi! Fujioka! Speak to me!"
Haruhi moaned as she felt a small slap across her face.
"Thank goodness you're still alive," said a voice that sounded like Hunny, "I was worried when that strange scepter thing fell and hit you. It must be stronger than it looks."
"Huh?" Haruhi moaned as she slowly opened her eyes. Once the blurry vison started to fade, she noticed a scepter next to her that again looked similar to the one she had seen but not quite the same. This one had a green jewel with a black handle.
"How are you feeling? Can you stand?" she heard Hunny asked.
"I think so," Haruhi said as she turned to look at Hunny. To her surprise she found him wearing kaurta armor.
"Good, the men might lose hope if you weren't there to help lead," Hunny said as he offered her his hand.
"Lead?" Haruhi thought as she looked down and realized she too was wearing armor.
"They're here! I see them!" a voice shouted.
"Come on Fujioka! Let's get you back to the top! And keep your helmet on this time, just in case!" Hunny ordered. Haruhi suddenly felt something heavy come down on her head and adjust a strap under her chin.
"Wha-What?" Haruhi said as she saw Hunny run over and start to climb a ladder. She grabbed the scepter and followed Hunny to the ladder. She looked up and saw a full battle scaffolding lignin a huge wall.
"Hurry Fujioka!" Hunny called down to her.
"Wha?" Haruhi said. She looked down at the scepter with concern.
"Here General, I'll put that in your tent if you want it preserved!" another solider offered. He looked almost like Ari.
"Yes, thank you, please do," Haruhi said as she hnaded it to him.
"Haruhi! Are you coming?" Hunny shouted.
"Oh, sure," Haruhi said as she reluctantly started to climb up.
By the time she got to the top, she was almost out of breath.
"Are you alright?" Hunny asked.
"I think so," Haruhi said, as she tried to calm herself down.
"Good, cause look!" Hunny said handing her an old fashion looking telescope.
Haruhi looked through it to see a similar wall and on top sitting on a throne of sorts was Tamaki, looking smug. Standing next on each side was Hikaru and Kaoru, also looking smug. All three were also in battle armor.
She noticed Tamaki pulling out what looked like an old fashion loud speaker.
"Surprise we've returned so soon Fujioka?" He called out, "well I'm sorry we're not much for mourning."
"How dare he!" Hunny muttered.
"Huh?" Haruhi asked.
"So, are you going to still fight? Or maybe try surrender? Less you end up like your dear departed lover?" Tamaki shouted.
"Lover?" Haruhi said.
"Surrender?! Never! Even if he hadn't taken Takashi out!"
"Taken Takashi out?" Haruhi asked.
"What should we do first Fujioka!" Hunny asked.
"Uh, I um," Haruhi sputtered. She didn't understand anything that was going on.
"Fujioka?" Hunny asked. He pulled her down and out of sight. "did that scepter seriously hurt you?"
"I think so," Haruhi tried to explain.
"A perfect time for it," Hunny muttered. "Kasanoda! You take charge!"
"Aye sir!" Haruhi saw Ritus Kasanoda call out.
"Come on, let's get you back to your tent!" Hunny said as he pushed Haruhi down one of the ladders. Haruhi climbed down with Hunny right behind her.
"Running away Fujioka?" they both heard Tamaki call out.
"Why that little!" Hunny grumbled. He sighed angry. "Once I have you taken care of, I'll come back up here and take him on myself! The jerk! The freak!"
"Right," Haruhi said softly climbing down.
Although she did admit, the way Tamaki was talking, it did make her feel a little mad.
"Coming through! Make way!" Hunny ordered as he brushed any of the soldiers on the ground in out of their way. Haruhi noticed there were just as many girl soldiers as there were boys. An awful lot looked like some of the usual clients from the host club.
Soon she and Hunny came up on almost an ocean of tents and Hunny led her to one of the biggest and fancy looking ones. Outside were at least 4 gaurds at attention. Above the entry way was Haruhi's last name" Fujioka, in big bold letters.
Next to hers was another just as grand tent with Hunny's name on it.
Hunny led Haruhi into her tent and insde was also very impressive. A grand desk, a battle table with a map and figurines, an area for a cooking, and a four post bed.
Also in a corner was another suit of armor resting on a dummy.
"Sit!" Hunny ordered as he forced Haruhi to sit down on the bed. He took off the helmet and examined her head.
"You don't look hurt," he said, "but that doesn't neccisarry mean you weren't."
"Yeah, sure, I'm just in a big blur," Haruhi said.
"Hmm, should have guessed," Hunny muttered. "I wasn't sure where that staff came from, but clearly it's done some damage! I'm starting to suspect that it was planted by Suoh or the Hitachiins as a trick! Shall I call the medic?"
"Uh, maybe," Haruhi agreed.
She could feel the frustration coming off of Hunny.
"What a time!" he kept saying.
"Very well, I shall and then I'll return to the front line to combat Suoh! The minute you feel better please return! We need you! Now more than ever with Takashi gone!"
"Right, um this is going to sound crazy, but what exactly happened to Mori?"
Hunny looked stunned and upset.
"You really were hurt by that thing! Takashi was killed not too long ago by Suoh himself protecting you while in battle!"
"Oh!" Haruhi said, actually modified by the idea of Tamaki killing Mori.
"That's why you've been keeping his armor here with you, as a small comfort," Hunny said pointing to the armor in the corner.
"I do?" Haruhi asked out loud unintentionally.
"Well yes, Takashi was your lover after all," Hunny said.
"My wha?!" Haruhi sputtered.
Just then they heard a loud boom. Hunny ran to the tent opening.
"Status report?!" He shouted!.
"Suoh's opened fire!" another voice shouted in response.
"Return fire! Hunny ordered. He looked back at Haruhi.
"I know this is going to sound harsh Fujioka, but get yourself better fast and get back out there. If only just so you can stirr moral for the troops!"
"Right," Haruhi said confused. Only to be interrupted by another loud boom.
"Someone get a medic here for Fujioka! I'm coming back to the front!" Hunny shouted as he ran out of the tent.
She still didn't fully understand what was going on.
She got up and walked over to the armor that had apparently belonged to Mori.
"Mori-Senpai and I? Lovers? And he's dead? What part of that is supposed to be the strangest?"
"Did you call for a medic, General Fujioka?" a new but still familiar voicr suddenly asked as she turned around to see Kyoya walking in regular clothes and carrying a medical bag.
"You're the medic?" Haruhi asked in surprise.
"Yes, forgive me, for I am new. Just recruited, you probably have not even seen me before. My name is Kyoya Otori."
"Oh, right sure," Haruhi sputtered.
"Now, what seems to be the problem, General?" Kyoya asked as he went and put his medical bag on the bed and started to shift through it.
"Uh, my head, it was hit and now nothing is making sense," Haruhi tried to explain.
"Are you suffering from a form of amnesia pherhaps?" Kyoya asked.
"Maybe," Haruhi decided to agree, "while you're examining me, could you please fill me in my life? Just in case it helps jog my mind?"
"Certainly, if you think it'll help," Kyoya agreed, "well here goes, your name is Haruhi Fujioka leader of the vast Fujioka clan."
'Vast?' Haruhi thought.
"You assumed command after your father felt like he was getting too old to lead. It was not long after that, that you joined forces with the Morinozuka and Haninozuka clans, since you and the new head of the Morinozuka clan had fallen in love."
'That still sounds weird! Me and Mori-Senpai as lovers!' Haruhi thought.
"Of course by doing so, you angered and or scared the Suoh clan. He saw your alliance as a threat that might concur his lands. So as a result he sought out and brought in the Hitachiin clan as his allies and declared war on you and your allies. You've all been fighting ever since."
"I see, well that's interesting," said Haruhi.
"I take it none of that information has helped?" Kyoya.
"Yes and no," Haruhi admitted, holding her head, "Was Takashi really killed by Suoh?"
"Yes, not too long ago in fact. He dove in front of a bullet from those new guns Suoh is now using to protect you," Kyoya explained. Haruhi looked back at Mori's armor and noticed a small hole in the center.
'Wow, Mori-Senpai,' she thought.
"A lot of us have been worried about you since then. We were fearful you would either shut down or become obsessed with the idea of revenge. For a while it looked like you were heading towards the latter," Kyoya added, "now, not so much."
"I guess I'm just going through so much emotions now," Haruhi admitted.
"I was studying a little on the standard emotions one goes through when struck with grief," Kyoya said, "denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. You may be suffering in such a way and this might be considered either a denial or depression stage."
"Right sure,' Haruhi said as calmly as she could. She figured it was the best way to go about the currant situation right now.
"Am I under orders to keep this underwraps?" Kyoha asked.
"I guess that's probably for the best," Haruhi agreed half heartedly. She walked over to the table with the maps and figurines. She could only assume one was her side while the others were supposed to represent Tamaki's side.
"Trying to come up with a better strategy to push back Suoh and Hitachiin?" Kyoya asked as he put a few of his things back.
"Kid of, yeah," Haruhi said.
She wasn't certain if she was reading it right, but it looked like her side had quite a lot of territory as it was.
"Did you say Sen, err, Suoh's upset about my alliance with Hunny and Mori?" She asked Kyoya.
"That is correct. He and Hitachiin are worried you'll move into their territories and concur them. 'Course given their war tactics and less than honourable actions, one could argue it wouldn't be a bad idea," Kyoya mentioned.
"Less than honorable?" Haruhi said. She could picture the twins using some questionable methods to fight a war, but Tamaki?
'Tamaki wouldn't be like that, would he?' Haruhi thought, right as another boom echoed overhead.
"General, I don't mean to be over shadowing my position," Kyoya started to say.
'Yeah, I bet,' Haruhi thought.
"But if there's nothing else I can do to help, may I be allowed to attend to the battle field or return to the med tent to care for the wounded?"
"Oh yes, please do! Right away!" Haruhi quickly agreed.
"I shall inform Haninozuka that you are still attempting to recover but also trying to figure out a plan," Kyoya promised as he bowed and headed out.
"Sure, thanks," Haruhi said as she looked down at the map.
'So this is all because Senpai's worry about how big Mori, Hunny and I are together? I wonder if he'd feel better if I was to give some of our land? But then again, that might not work given the way Senpai is in this world.'
It was actually sad to think that Suoh could be such a bad person in this world.
'I was almost better off being a rich person!' She looked over at the scepter on the desk.
'I wonder if I should just hit myself with it again just to see what would happen,' she thought as she picked it up. A part of her was a little hesitant to do so, given that the Kyoya in the last world hadn't figure out everything out about it.
'What should I do?' Haruhi asked herself.
Suddenly a loud explosion shook everything within the tent, knocking a few things over, including Haruhi herself.
"What was that?!" Haruhi shouted as she stood up.
"General!" one of her gaurds shouted as she ran in. It was then that Haruhi noticed she looked like Benio Amakusa.
"General, one of the bombs launched by Souh managed to hit the tents! They're on fire!"
"What?!" Haruhi shouted as she ran out and saw some of the tents burning!.
"Oh God! Well can we get them put out?!" Haruhi asked with concern.
"You heard her men! Get the fires out and evacuate anyone still there!" Benio ordered.
"Oh I...," Haruhi tried to say. She didn't realize she was technically ordering the troops about.
"General! Do you think you're well enough to return to the front line to lead?" Benio asked.
"Well," Haruhi sputtered.
"Because if you're not, we should move you to a safe location!" Benio insisted.
"Oh, right, sure," Haruhi agreed, not sure what else to say.
"Let General Haninozuka know we're moving General Fujioka to the safe spot!" Benio ordered a nearby soldier.
"Aye-aye ma'am!" the soldier said with a salute and hurrying off.
Before Haruhi could react, Benio had grabbed her hand and dragged her away.
It happened so fast that it took Haruhi a second to realize they were leaving her tent and everything in it behind.
'Oh no the scepter's still in there!' Haruhi thought with panic. Right as another loud boom shook the ground and Haruhi saw a new fire flare up.
'Maybe I should have hit myself when I had a chance!' Haruhi thought sadly as she dragged away by Benio.
"So you're the head of the Fujioka warrior clan?" Kyoya asked the apparent warrior Haruhi.
"Yes, I have rule and guided my clan since my father's retirement to greatness!" Haruhi bragged.
"Fascinating," Kyoya said, "and you say that Suoh and the Hitachiins are your enemies?"
"Yes!" Haruhi growled, looking towards the trio, making them shiver in fear. "Suoh's been jealous of our numbers since I joined forces with Haninozuka and Morinozuka! And he's made that very clear with some of his antics! He'll call for a ceasefire only to suddenly attack! He'll call for a peace talk only to turn it into an ambush! He's even sent attacks against our wounded, even though they're that! Wounded! What kind of pitiful cowardly man does that when his opponent does not even have a chance to defend themselves!"
"I would never do that!" Tamaki suddenly instead as he stood up in defense.
"You calling me a liar Suoh!" Haruhi shouted, "you're the liar here! That's another thing he does! Lies all the time! He thinks he's so cunning!" She started to run across the room at him.
"I'll shut that lying mouth of yours forever!"
Hunny immediately jumped in front of the three.
"Haru-Chan!" he said in a serious tone. "None of that now."
Haruhi paused and took a deep breath.
"Forgive me, Haninozuka, my temper got the better of me, again."
"Why don't you come sit down over here and rest. It'll help relax you," Hunny suggested as he led her over to a love seat.
"Thank you," Haruhi said as she took a few deep breaths.
"How about some tea and cake?" Hunny suggested.
"Cake?" Haruhi asked, sounding confused.
"Sure!" Hunny said happily as he hurried off to where the sweets were kept.
"Cake?" Haruhi said again as she watched Hunny prepare two slices as well as some tea.
"Do you not recall Haninozuka ever having a fondness for cake?" Kyoya asked as he sat next to her.
"Not particularly," Haruhi admitted as she kept watching Hunny prepare everything, "and I've never seen cake like that."
"Yoh haven't?" Hunny asked as he carried the plate over to her, putting it down.
"It looks almost too beautiful to eat," Haruhi said as she picked up the plate and examined the bit piece of vanilla cake with white frosting and covered with strawberries. "And it smells divine. Where did this come from?"
"I introduced it," Kyoya immediately said. "eating cake is known to ease tension where I come from. So I usually try to take some with me in the off chance I need to help calm down people I am observing."
"Oh, well then I guess it's safe to eat," Haruhi said as she slowly took a bite.
"Mmm, it's delicious!"
"It is, isn't it!" Hunny said. "I can't stop eating it!"
"Observer, is it against your protical protocol to share the recipe of these so called cakes so that Haninozuka and I can make them again?"
"Not at all, I will gladly give you the recipe," Kyoya promised.
"Thank you," Haruhi said kindly. "Do you also have something to do with why we are in this odd room and in such odd garments?"
"Yes in a way, I wanted to get both sides of the story in regards to the war on equal grounds. And one of the best ways I'd thought I could do that was to have you all look alike, and therefore no intimidation among the standard military uniforms," Kyoya explained.
'How does he,' Hikaru thought.
'Come up with these things on the fly like that,' Kaoru also thought.
"I suppose," Haruhi said looking down at her uniform, "they do feel comfortable and are somewhat easy on the eyes."
She glared back at Tamaki and the others.
"And what have they told you so far about the war! Did they try saying we were going to invade?! Because I assure we were not! He started the war! He launched the first attack!
She started stand up again, "he's the reason so many are dying now! On our side and his own! So many innocent lives lost! Because of him and his puny little ego!"
She growled again. This caused the trio sneek further away, to the other side of the room.
"I've seen him open fire or drop things on them just so he can use his new toys and doesn't have the time to have them simply move!"
"I see," Kyoya said.
"I would never do that!" Tamaki insisted as he jumped up again.
"Are you calling me a liar again Suoh!" Haruhi shouted, "I've seen you do it! And you've bragged about it as well!" Haruhi snapped.
Tamaki looked appalled by the idea.
"Well I'm certainly not going to do it again."
"Sure you're not!" Haruhi shouted mad, "just another stupid lie from that smug face of yours!" She ran at Tamaki, grabbed his tie and shook him.
"I am so sick of your lies!"
"Haru-Chan no!" Hunny shouted as he tried to intervene
"Ok, I think I'm going to try and hit her with the scepter again," Hikaru finally declared as he got up and walked over to where it was on the table.
"Hikaru, what are you doing?" Kyoya asked when he saw Hikaru picking up the scepter.
"I'm going to send this Haruhi back home," Hikaru said as he snuck up behind Haruhi.
"Wait," Kyoya tried to protest, "I wouldn't...,"
Hikaru ignored Kyoya's warning and brought the scepter down on Haruhi's head.
"Owe!" Haruhi moaned as she rubbed her head.
"Is she back?" Kaoru asked.
"I never left!" Haruhi growled. She suddenly kicked Hikaru in his stomach and sent him flying to the couch.
"Hikaru!" Kaoru shouted as he ran to his brother.
"A sneak attack! How dare you!" Haruhi shouted, "I've said it once and I'll say it again! You Hitachiins are as vile as Suoh!"
"Why is she still this warrior, person?" Hikaru asked as Kaoru helped him up.
"I was going to say, I did read something about a time limit but hadn't been able to find more details yet," Kyoya said calmly.
"Haru-Chan, you shouldn't have done that," Hunny scolded.
"He attacked me! By surprised!" Haruhi pointed out. She looked at the scepter where Hikaru had dropped it.
"And how many of these do they have? Are they some sort of new weapon too?"
"Were you asking if there's more than one scepter General Fujioka?" Kyoya asked.
"I assumed so, since the last time I saw this it had a green jewel with a black handle," Haruhi explained. She pointed it mercilessly at Tamaki. "Do you know anything about this?! Is this another weapon of yours?!"
"Oh no! No!" Tamaki insisted.
Haruhi didn't look convinced.
"You said the same thing about those new things you call guns! And I actually believed you! And because of my lack of judgment, I lost the love of my life!"
"You what?" nearly everyone in the room asked.
Tears were starting to build up in Haruhi's eyes.
"You took Takashi away from me!" Haruhi shouted loudly, "you killed him! Takashi! The only man I could ever truly love!"
"Takashi's the love of your life?!" Tamaki said distraught.
"Oh don't mock me like that!" Haruhi snapped.
"So you and Takashi Morinozuka were involved romantically?" Kyoya asked.
"Yes, and that was the main reason our clans joined forces! It was only natural that we become one," Haruhi explained, "and I have said before! I'm sorry that makes you feel insecure Suoh! But as we said before! We didn't do it to concur you!"
"Right," Tamaki said, "I'm sorry!"
"Too little too late! Especially since there's no way I can trust you!" Haruhi insisted.
She looked like she was going to attack again.
"Haru-Chan, don't do anything crazy now!" Hunny warned.
"He killed Takashi! How could I not be filled with rage!" Haruhi shouted as she finally went through and punched Tamaki across the face.
"Wow, she socked him pretty good," Kaoru said.
"You should feel her kicks!" Hikaru said weakly. "Kyoya-Senpai, just how long would it take before we can try and hit Haruhi again and get her back?"
"I don't know, I don't even know if it'll work again," Kyoya tried to explain, "I have to research more."
"So in the meantime, we could be stuck with a Haruhi who wants to kill us?!" Kaoru asked.
"She doesn't want to kill me," Hunny said a little proudly.
"That doesn't help us," the twins said as they look towards Haruhi standing over Tamaki as though in triumph.
"Haruhi," Tamaki said in a struggle, "I am truly sorry I angered you. I'll do anything to regain your trust."
"I won't fall for that this time!" Haruhi insisted as she raised her fist intended to strike again.
Just then the doors to the clup opened.
"Do we still need ice?" Mori asked sounding confused.
Haruhi slowly turned and looked at him.
"Takashi?" She said softly as she moved towards him slowly, "Ia that you?"
"Um, yes?" Mori said sounding confused.
Haruhi looked like she was goind to cry again as she ran over and leaped into Mori's arms, making him drop the ice.
"I thought you were dead!" Haruhi said before suddenly kissing him on the lips!
"Hmm?" Mori managed to hum in confusion.
