MIKAELSONS' MANSION. KOL'S ROOM.

"Kaylah?" Whispers a voice. "Wake up. Wake up!"

Blue eyes snapped open, staring at the white ceiling for a long second. Kaylah stretched her arms, yawning lightly. The king-sized bed was particularly comfy, it was hard to consider only getting out of it. It was much more comfy than the old bed they had, back in the days. She inhale deeply and then exhaled. This was gonna be one rough day, she knew.

She lift herself up on her elbows, quietly getting out of bed. She walked ahead to the bedroom's door, closed it behind her as she made her way through the corridor, her bare-foot feeling the coldness of the tiled floor, she kept walking until she found the stairways.

This mansion was beautiful. It felt so different - her whole surroundings were nothing alike the things she remembered. Everything was so new and exciting but scary all the same. She needed to talk to Kol. She wasn't quite sure where to start but she had to.

SALVATORE BOARDING HOUSE. LIVING ROOM.

Bonnie Bennett was pacing angrily, back and forth, she couldn't believe her ears. She has had a vision. This coffin was important. The person in it was important - this one woman that Damon had somehow managed to loose. She could never trust anything to this vampire, can she?

"What do you mean 'they just took her', Damon?!" She snapped.

"Calm down, Bon..." Caroline intervened softly.

"What's not clear in that sentence?" Damon ignored her. "That new brother looked like he's seen a ghost and just like we had planned Klaus came to get his dear coffin back. They had some fight over whatever and they just left. With her!"

Bonnie inhaled deeply to try and calm down but it didn't turn out much effective. "And what the fuck were you doing while all of that happened?! You had one job, Damon! I told you how important this woman could be!"

"I highly doubt that, judgy! See, apparently, this girl is this new brother's wife."

Bonnie momentarily paused, even Elena was looking at him now.

"Say what?"

"Yep." He playfully popped the 'p' before a smirk stretched on his lips. "His wife from human times, even."

MIKAELSONS' MANSION. LIVING-ROOM.

Reaching down the stairs Kaylah could see most of the Mikaelsons' in the living-room.

"How come it's any of my fault if she has amnesia?!" Niklaus' snapped.

"Because you've kept her in a box for Gods know how many times! What are you trying to hide, Nik?!"

"Stop it!" Rebekah's voice intervened. "You're both ridiculous!"

"Oh, how about you mind your own business, Bekah?! We all know you're Nik's little bitch!"

Rebekah's mouth fell open in shock and hurt but before she could explode, Elijah toned "That's enough."

Niklaus and Kol were facing one another, Rebekah trying to take them off of each others. Elijah a few feet away, looking sternly at the scene playing before him.

Kaylah considered the idea to walk back up and leave them deal with their issues but she didn't go through with it. This was family business, and she was family now. She couldn't let them fight over her. She couldn't let that happen.

"Hello." Kaylah spoke out, softly, trying to gain their attention.

And it worked. Suddenly, you could hear a bug fly. They all turned their attention to her, staring at her as if they saw a ghost. And maybe that's what she was. A ghost from the past.

"Kaya!" Rebekah screamed out in joy, she was about to throw herself at her but Kol caught her arm before she could make a move.

"It's okay, you can let go off her." Kaylah said softly, before looking at her. "Hello, Bekah."

The blonde's blue eyes lit up with excitement, she squeals, nearly skipping on place and towards her until she could hug her."You remember me!"

Kaylah smiled softly, wrapping her arms around the blonde, hugging back warmly. "I remember a whole lot of things..."

Kol looked at them, cautiously. "Are you feeling better? Earlier you-"

She grimaced lightly, pulling back from Rebekah's embrace. "Broke down, yes... But I'm okay now."

He walked closer to her, he yearned for nothing more than to touch her, be near her, and the Original Blonde must have understood that because she erased herself out of the way. Kol walked closer to his wife, slowly, as if to leave her the occasion to move back if she didn't want him to. He tilts his head to the side, smiling sweetly at her, before he asks sheepishly "Do you remember me?"

"How could I forget, huh?" She giggled lightly, eyeing him from head to toes. "Although, what the bloody hell happened to your hair?"

He couldn't help but laugh lowly. "A lot of things?"

"I kind of like it..." She says thoughtfully, her hands roaming into his short cut brown hairs, her blue eyes taking in every details of her perfect face. He looked exactly like she remembered him. Even more beautiful, if only it were possible. "It clears your face. Even though I guess I'll miss passing my hands through."

He smiles sweetly at her, chestnut eyes shining like a child at Christmas eve. He grabbed her hands into his, squeezing them gently. "I have missed you so much, Kaya..."

"So did I, Kol."

And she did. Oh so much. Her feelings for him hadn't changed that she was sure, now. A problem laid still : her touching him was one thing, she felt in control of the situation but him touching her made her a bit cautious. She knew it was silly, he was her husband and he'd never do anything to purposely harm her, but she couldn't control the way she felt. She rest her hand against his chest, keeping him a few inch apart from her. She'd need to talk to him.

Elijah grew rather uncomfortable at watching the two lovebirds staring at each others eyes. "Maybe we should allow them some privacy."

"What?" Rebekah complained. "No! I want to spend time with her too!"

"Rebekah-"

"It's okay." Kaylah intervened, hands slipping off Kol's face. "We have all the time to spend together." She turned her eyes towards the older Mikaelson, a soft smile on her lips. "I'm happy to see you, 'Lijah."

Elijah smiled at her. "So I am, Kaylah. Glad to have you back."

"What is this place?" Kaylah looked rather serene, calm, as she looks at her surroundings, her finger lingering over some expensive Chinese vase.

"It's our new home, my love... I suppose it's-different that what you-" he couldn't find the right words to put it, he sighs softly. "What is the last thing you remember, huh?"

Her mouth turned into a soft pout. "I'm not quite sure... I don't remember a specific thing." She slightly shook her head. "I'm not a human being anymore, I do know that. Blood. Always blood."

Most of the Mikaelsons' looked at each others at that, some more shocked than others.

Rebekah blinked in surprise. "You look... Incredibly calm?"

"Yes. I do feel calmer, now." She nodded, her blue eyes turning to Niklaus, yet not making any moves towards him. "Hi, Nik."

He smiled softly at her, looking unsure for a second. "Hey..."

"Don't bloody 'hey' her, you coward! Kaya-" He reached out for her, cupping her face between his hands gently. "Sweetness, my beautiful Kaya, what has that bastard done to you, huh? Tell me you remember. You have to remember. I will kill him. If he harmed a hair out of your head, I'll reap his bloody heart out."

"Kol!" Rebekah snapped.

Kaylah blinked her doe-eyes at him, tilting her head to the side. "What are you talking about, Kol?"

"The coffin you woke up in is one of Nik's coffins! He puts a dagger into our backs whenever we don't agree with him."

"That is not true!" Klaus raised his voice.

"Oh you bloody shut up!" He spit back at him, pointing his index finger at him before his head snapped back to his wife, lowering his voice as he added "I found you, daggered in one of them, wearing sixteenth century clothing-"

"Ah! You're the one who changed me into those..." she looked down to her pj's without fully knowing what they were "whatever it is that I'm wearing?"

"Yes... But that's hardly the point, my love. He had you daggered for who knows how many times, meaning he knew about you! He knew and he lied!"

"Oh?" She played surprised. "Why would he do that?"

"Ah! I were expecting you to tell me 'cause he's lying about it."

"I'm not lying!" Klaus snapped.

"Of course you are!" Kol snapped back. "You don't know how to do anything else but lie!"

Everything was so loud, her head buzzing, she felt like they were screaming at her. If things escalated further more they'd end up fighting and that's something she dreaded... She knew perfectly Kol was close to the truth and he'd discover it eventually - she'd tell him, eventually. But in the meantime she didn't want them to fight. She never liked conflict. She didn't want to be the cause of conflict between the brothers. Fair enough, she hated Klaus for what he's done to her. She wished he'd drop dead at some point but she didn't want to cause any pain, any harm, to her husband.

Family business were always a pain.

"Please, stop screaming..." Kaylah nearly whispers.

She stumbles lightly backwards and Kol was quick to act to help her stay still. "Are you okay, my love?"

"Yeah... I'm okay. Um, would it be possible for me to..." She blinked her do-eyes, blue orbs going from one sibling to the other "freshen up?"

"Yes!" Rebekah was quick to answer, nearly squealing in joy. "Fabulous idea, Kaya! I'll show you my dressing."

"I doubt that's what she had in mind, Rebekah." Elijah answered. "Accompany her to your bathroom, will you?"

MIKAELSONS' MANSION. REBEKAH'S ROOM.

Kaylah was sitting quietly onto the end of the king sized bed, hands crossed on her legs, a soft smile plastered on her full lips, as Rebekah was coming back and forth from the dressing room to the bedroom, with a skip in her step, each time with a different set of clothing in arms; setting them down onto the bed next to her. Rebekah always did like to play doll with her.

"This dress... Or maybe- Oh! Oh, no, this one! Yes. You'll be so pretty in that, Kol's gonna be left agape! Obviously, my clothes will do for now but we're so going shopping, you and I." The Original Blonde was ecstatic.

Rebekah looked at her expectantly, her blue eyes shining with happiness. "So! Tell me. Which one would you prefer? The red one... or the dark one?"

"I trust your tastes, Bekah." Kaylah smiles softly. "Whichever you like most will be fine for me. I'd simply like to wash up first, is that possible?"

"Oh! Of course. Silly me. I'll let you take a shower! ...Do you- do you need me to show you how it works or-"

"...A bath. I'd kill for a bath."

"All good, then!" Rebekah giggled, pointing towards the bathroom door. "It's that way. Would you like bubbles in that bath?"

Kaylah tilted her head to the side, questioningly. "Bubbles?"
