[Graduation]

Bella lined up with the others, preparing the graduation march, that she would take, to get her diploma and be officially done with high school. The aftermath of the vampire ambush was cleaned up nicely. The town mourned a fallen officer. The news said it was a traffic stop gone wrong. Jake and Juliet had a harder time with the loss because they didn't know the real reasons for his death, and that had bothered Bella, but she remained quiet. Things went back to normal, or whatever normal was anymore. She forced herself to stay out of a funk and focus on life instead. Renee had lost her husband, her mate. It hit hard, and for her, it was almost soul shattering, but she continued for the sake of the children, which Bella knew she was fighting hard to keep up with.

Caroline tried to keep Bella lively by taking her to the mall, and doing some shopping, which made Bella smile some, watching Caroline try on goofy hats and scarves. Emmett was taking the loss hard as well. He was alpha, and he wasn't there to protect them, and Damon was here protecting him and Bella. It was a lot to take in, and a lot to sort through and put in their right compartments in Bella's mind.

But now, it was a month later, and things were okay. Emmett and Bella, were doing great, spending every moment with each other outside of her school, and his important meetings he had with the council, and his classes at the University, which was something he still wanted to do. Most wolves led normal lives. Being apart of a pack just meant more support.

"Isabella Marie Swan." They called her name, and she put on a smile and went across the stage, grabbing her diploma, and waving at the audience, where her mom cheered and so did Jake and Juliet. They were proud of her graduating. Emmett was there as well, cheering her on, and that made her heart soar even more to see how supportive he was as a boyfriend and mate.

After every student got their chance to parade across the stage, Bella met with her mom and siblings, and then Emmett was there too. She hugged her mom and then Jake and Juliet and then Emmett grabbed her hand and pulled her to him, hugging her, and then kissing her with a smile.

"You did it." Emmett said, smiling.

"I did it." She parroted, and leaned in and kissed him again.

Jake was wary of Emmett at first, not liking his sister dating an older guy, but their mom seemed to be okay with it. Juliet thought Emmett looked like prince charming, so she loved Emmett.

"You kids have fun." Renee said, smiling at her daughter. She knew they were itching to just get away from all the people.

Bella smiled at her mom, and then her brother and sister, and gave them hugs one last time, before lacing her fingers with Emmett's and they left the school. Most everyone was going back to Caroline's house for a graduation party, but Bella wanted to be a lone with Emmett.

They got back to the mansion, and by the time Emmett got Bella up to his room, she was naked. His hands caressed every part of her, her body shivering under him as he touched her. His mouth moved to her throat, to her shoulder, and she was sighing pleasantly from the pleasure. His hands worked her up, his fingers playing with her clit gathering moans from her, until she was nearly spilling over. Then he was covering her body with his, his hard cock thrusting up inside her, her body latching on to his, and she exploded with an orgasm. She clung to him her body shaking under his, until he was unfurling his own orgasm, pushing inside her deep and emptying out completely. His mouth went back to hers, kissing her deeply, before pulling out and rolling in the bed, pulling her against him.

They lay in silence until they both fell asleep.

[The Summit]

Bella was nervous to meet the other wolves and the council. Her nerves were all jittery as she looked at herself in the mirror, her pale blue sun dress went to her knees. Her hair fell in dark tumbles down her back. She even felt slightly nauseous, and it forced her to the bathroom.

That's how Emmett found her, and he frowned, going to her side. "Babe, are you okay?"

"Ugh. I'm just nervous." She said and managed to get to her feet, flushing the toilet and then washing her face and mouth.

"You don't need to be nervous." Emmett said gently. "Are you…having second thoughts about us?" He ventured to ask. It was one of his fears, for her to just give up on him suddenly.

"No, it's not you." Bella said, and then she got sick again and she hunched back over the toilet. Emmett moved to her side, pulling her hair back for her, and rubbing her back.

Emmett frowned. Her getting sick like this was unusual since wolves typically didn't get sick. "Bella…"

She leaned back, feeling better, and then he helped her get cleaned up, turning on the water for her and then got her a washcloth. "Thank you. I'm sorry."

"I'm just worried about you. Wolves don't get sick Bella…"

Bella shook her head. "It's my nerves. They're just jittery."

He wasn't convinced, but he just nodded. "Okay. How are you feeling now?"

"I think it's passed." Bella said, blowing out a breath. She didn't feel the nausea anymore.

"Are you sure?"

Bella nodded and looked at Emmett. "I'm just nervous meeting the council. I'll be okay though."

Emmett studied her. "Do you normally get sick with nerves?"

"Well…" Bella frowned. She hadn't really had this issue before, she admitted. "I don't know."

"Something could be wrong…" he murmured, studying her as they walked back into the bedroom.

There was a knock-on door, and Emmett opened it, seeing Renee standing there. "I brought the bracelet and-"She cut off, her eyes studying her own daughter. "Oh."

"What?" Bella frowned, seeing the concern flash across her mother's face.

"Nothing." Renee murmured and then cleared her throat. "Here is the bracelet. This was my grandmothers, and I just wanted to give it to Bella before the Summit."

Bella took the bracelet. There were moonstones lined the silver cuff, and it was beautiful, and older. Silver didn't irritate the skin like the stories said. "This is beautiful." She murmured.

Renee smiled, and then looked at Emmett. "Emmett, a word." She said and then she disappeared back outside the bedroom.

Emmett looked at Bella and smiled. "I'll be a moment. Finish getting ready. If you still feel sick, then let me know." He murmured, and then kissed her forehead and joined Renee outside. "What is it?"

"She's pregnant." Renee said, her green eyes focused on Emmett's blue ones.

Emmett frowned. "That's not possible. We haven't marked each other, and we haven't been united yet with the ceremony."

"I can see it in her, smell it. I know, because I've had three kids." Renee pointed out.

Emmett looked towards the door, his arms crossed. "That explains her being sick. Wolves don't get sick."

"She's already getting sick?" Renee asked.

"Yes."

"That's a good sign. Means there's a better chance for the pregnancy to be viable. You know…it's hard for female wolves to carry full term. Before Bella, it took Charlie and I five times, and then four more times with Jake, and then three more with Juliet." Renee explained. "If she's getting sick like this, then that means her body isn't rejecting them."

Emmett ran a hand over his face. "Everything about this is different than everything we have ever known before. Her double imprinting, and now this?"

"I know dear." Renee said, her eyes softening as she looked at him. Things were moving at a faster pace than she had realized. She knew that Emmett and Bella had been together, but she assumed that Bella was like every other wolf, when she clearly wasn't. She carried the coat of the artic, and that was a difference.

"I'll talk to her." Emmett said. "She's going to freak out."

"Maybe. Just know that if I can see it…"

"The council can." Emmett said and sighed. "Their traditions."

Renee nodded. "But you are the selected Alpha. I don't see them opposing any of this."

"Unless they favor Damon. Remember Aro is challenging my status."

"He's an old coot. Don't let him scare you." Renee said with a smile.

Emmett sighed. "You're right. Thanks Renee." He said. "Go and make sure everything is ready for our departure."

Renee nodded, bowing slightly before leaving.

Emmett looked at the bedroom door. He waited a moment before going back in. Bella was finished getting ready. She decided to braid her hair instead of leaving it down, just so she was more comfortable. "Hey." He said softly.

Bella looked over at him and smiled at him. "I'm okay. Not feeling sick anymore."

Emmett nodded and then took her hand in his and pulled her over to the bed, and sat her down. "I know why you're feeling sick."

"I told you. Nerves."

Emmett shook his head. "No, that's not it. Your mother…. she has a better sense for these things, because she's been through this. I haven't. But you're with child." He said gently.

Bella frowned. "I thought we couldn't have children until after the union, and the summit, and even then, isn't it hard for wolves to get pregnant?"

"It is, but…this is special." Emmett said. "You carry the coat of the artic. Things are different. Everything has been different. I don't know why I didn't think this would be too."

Bella felt a little shocked. If she was pregnant, that would explain being sick, but at the same time, the odds were stacked against her. "What do we do?"

"Nothing. We have to get you to see the pack doctor. Make sure everything looks good. Monitor your health." Emmett said with a nod. "Your mom said that if you're getting sick, then it's a good sign. Means your body is accepting the baby."

Bella was quiet. This was a big step. Becoming a mom. She knew that it was expected for them to have children. They were growing a pack after all, but she was scared. She was still so young, and so was Emmett. But that wasn't what scared her. She was afraid of something happening to Emmett, and then he would be gone, or what if something happened to her.

"Bella…. baby, please talk to me." Emmett coaxed.

"Um. I just thought we would have…more time. I guess, I just want to check things out first before I feel something." Bella finally said, and looked at him. "Are you okay?"

"I'm okay." Emmett said with a nod. "I'm just worried about you. You're always my first worry."

Bella swallowed. "Well, we'll have to worry about this after the Summit. We need to get going." She said and stood. Her heart beat hard in her chest as she thought about a life she was possibly growing inside her. She didn't want to believe it until she saw the proof in front of her.

[50 Miles North of Mystic Falls]

Wolves gathered from all over. Different pack leaders came to the meeting point. There were wolves from all over. Emmett stood with the other alphas, while betas stayed with betas, and omegas stayed with omegas. Bella was with the alphas because she was considered an alpha by association. Alpha's mates were called Lunas, they were typically alphas in nature. There were a few other girls there that were staying silent, while everyone gathered.

Emmett stood, his arms crossed as he nodded, and listened to an Alpha named Peter Whitlock talk. He was from the Southern pack down in Texas, and they were a smaller pack. He was talking about his issues with vampires in the area.

There was another Alpha named Marcell who came up from Louisiana, and he was different. He was elegant and poised. A likeable character.

Damon was sticking to the omega section, even though he was a beta. He didn't like the other betas that well, so he hung around with his brother Stefan, and another girl whose name was Elena. Bella recognized her from school.

A man appeared. His skin was bronze, showing off a native descent. His hair was cut short, and he was shirtless, a tribal tattoo over his chest on the right side. "We'll begin this Summit." He said, his voice booming, and everyone grew silent. Twelve others joined him, Atticus was among them, along with a mix of different people, who were old and young.

Emmett had told her all their names. The one speaking was Sam Uley, then there was Atticus Shane, Billy Black, Quil Altera IV, Harry Clearwater, Sheila Bennett, Mason Lockwood, Kai Parker and then there were five others, that she couldn't remember their names, even though he told her.

"Today there are a couple things. One, Caroline Forbes and Tyler Lockwood will be united in a ceremony. They have waited a while for this. Unless there are any objections from their pack leader."

Emmett smiled and shook his head. "It is permitted. Carry on." He said.

Sam nodded, and then looked around. "Centuries have passed without the coat of the artic reappearing. Well, now is the time. Isabella Swan, transformed on the last pink moon. She carries the coat of the artic, and with that she carries the true bloodline. Today, we will unite Isabella and her imprinted mate, Emmett Hale." He said, and people looked around, until eyes landed on Bella. "At the end of the quarter, Harry Clearwater will be stepping down as a councilman. In his place, it was voted. To take his place will be Damon Salvatore."

Damon frowned; his arms crossed. He didn't say a word, remaining silent. He didn't like being thrown into something he didn't want, but that was it right? Because he was a Salvatore, that meant that he was supposed to do great things.

"The mating ceremony will begin after the four mentioned are united. If you are without a mate, now is the chance to find one." Sam said and then finished. Atticus got up, his smile even. "Caroline Forbes. Tyler Lockwood. Join me up here." He said, his hands motioning, and Caroline and Tyler joined Atticus their hands linked together.

Bella watched as Atticus placed two unity marks on Caroline and Tyler. It was specific to them, and then they kissed each other, before Tyler moved his mouth to her shoulder over her unity mark, and he bit her. It didn't look like Caroline was in pain. She just smiled, returning the gesture to Tyler as well. There were some cheers and clapping, and then they took their place back where they were standing.

Atticus looked to Emmett and Bella, and Emmett grabbed Bella's hand, lacing his fingers with her and then they took their spot up next to Atticus.

Bella was a little nervous, but she kept her hand in Emmett's while Atticus said a few things, before placing the mark on Bella's shoulder and then on Emmett's. Marking each other was a symbol for who they belonged to. There were rogue wolves that would try to steal from a pack, and it was usually mates. The horrible things that could be done to them, made Bella scared of those possibilities, but that meant she had to be strong. She had to be strong enough to hold her own, and strong enough to be by Emmett's side. Being marked didn't hurt. Bella welcomed Emmett's mark, a little disappointed they couldn't be in private so they could rip each other's clothes off, but she knew that would come later.

There were bows, as Bella turned to looked at the packs. They bowed before her because of who she was, because not only was she an alpha's wife, but she was also the strongest blood line to ever exist, and the coat of the artic was her burden and her proof of how powerful she could be, or will be. It made her feel a little weird, but she bowed back to everyone, and then she joined Emmett with the other alphas, while the summit continued, and the mating ceremony took place.

[Later that Night]

Bella was tired to say the least. It was a long day of rituals, and ceremonies, and she was just happy to be back at the mansion with Emmett.

He took care of some things before coming up to the bedroom. He looked over at her. She was laying in the bed, the blankets pulled up around her, and he knew that she was gloriously naked beneath the covers.

"I love you." Emmett said, as he walked towards the bed, pulling his shirt off. His new mark was brilliant against his skin, and it made Bella smile. He was all hers. Would be all hers, forever now.

"I love you too." Bella murmured and watched him get naked in front of her before joining her in the bed. His hands were gentle against her skin, and they felt like fire. The sizzling connection they had was only getting stronger, and she knew that this is what her life was meant to be.

Emmett pulled back, running his hand over her belly. "I know that children…is something we never spoke about, but this…is a good sign. I spoke to Sam. He said that it is odd for you to fall pregnant before our union, but he feels that this is the ultimate sign that we're on the right track."

Bella swallowed. "It's hard to believe. I know that this is a good thing. I'm just scared. Emmett, I don't know what to do. I'm not the type of person to be in the center of attention. So getting so much…it feels strange, but I do it because I love you. And yes, if this pregnancy is meant to be then of course, I'm excited for it. I'm just scared, which I think is valid."

"It is. You're young, and this has all moved so fast…" Emmett agreed. "I want you to know that I support you 100 percent. There's nothing that I wouldn't do for you."

Bella smiled. "Good, because there's nothing, I wouldn't do for you." She leaned in and kissed him, her hand coming up and framing his face. She was happy, nervous, but happy.

"We'll check with the pack doctor in the morning. Get an ultrasound done to see the baby." Emmett murmured. "If that's okay?"

"Of course." Bella said with a nod, smiling. "Let's check on our baby."
