Info: The World of Serenus I
I. The Nations of Eostia
Eostia is analogous to ancient europe, as many and any other fantasy setting. Yet the sub-continent itself is pretty untamed for the most part, perhaps due in part to the devastation of a multi-generation long conflict between dark elves and humans.
1a. Alliance of The Seven Shields
The Alliance, in my eyes, is analogous to the Holy Roman Empire of europe (which was niether holy, nor Roman, nor an empire). But here, at least their name makes much sense to their form of government. But unlike the HRE they seem to not hold election and are based, on what I assume as the primogenitor heir system, which means the oldest will rule.
In the continent, I'll make them the major power in the region, but they are mostly focused on their hundreds years war with their northern neighbor, the nations neighboring them too weak or just deemed not important to their cause.
Their figurehead is their high queen and diety, which rules over the masses of humans that live and breathe within their "kingdoms", speaking of which;
1b. The Shield Cities
In the show, they seem to be your average medieval walled city. Quickly dispatched by the black dogs, though in their unfair favour due to subversive elements within them.
Geofum - The capital and seat of power in the alliance, though originally called geofu in the original works, I latinized it so I can have no immersive whiplash while hearing and seeing its name. Also some short history, ahem; Once an outpost of the old Aurelian Empire, and a town verging into near starvation. Geofum quickly gained its capital status during the much younger goddess reborn's arrival to its gates.
Ken - It was used to be much bigger and more magnificent during the Old Farrolingian Regime, but during one of its destructive rebellions all of its grand cathedrals to its forgotten gods were gone in a blaze in one night. Peace and order was restored when the proto-alliance sought to see it join under its banner, soon turning the old brutal Empire of Ken into a respectable kingdom under the guidance of its new ruler and goddess.
Rad - A small mining town powered by beastmen slaves that soon elevated as the alliances industrial center, with the heroic intervention of Luu-Luu and her band of "exiles", came to rescue them. With Celestine's blessing, she was given a city to conduct her desire of invention and combat prowess.
Ur and Feoh - They were called the twin cities for something, having a shared history and a shared people that seemed one and the same. But it wasn't always like that. Two bitter enemies they were, embroiled with eachother's desire for destruction that they had failed to see the dark elves' vengeance of a thounsand monsterous armies barreling towards them. With the help of a noble knight and an elf's kindness, they fought with eachother, and bled with eachother like sisters and their histories were changed for the better.
Thorn - Seen as the outdoors of the alliance, it is a first stop shop for many wandering travelers and merchants from the far east. Many settled in, soon outnumbering the local residents and even more when Kaguya's group came. Quickly turning Thorn as the far eastern city of the west, welcoming the many displaced hinomotans as a beacon for a new life.
Ansur - The Ansuryans were proud people, even for a town of thieves and whores, they were tough sons of bitches that were molded into hard folks, men, women, children and all. Though the last to join the alliance, they made up for their good and dirty fighters (much to the dismay of the knightly households). And is the birthplace of the (in)famous Black Dogs as Vult himself sliced the head of his bastard father to prove himself.

Claudia Levantine - She acts as the Princess Knight and Lady Protector of Ken, and Captain of the Dawn Templars, and is also acting as Celestine's second-in-command. Is famous for her combat prowess during the Grand Tourney of 680, and the Battle of Lower Garan of 693.
Alicia Arcturus - She acts as the Princess Knight and the Lady of Feoh, Captain of the Knights of Iris and is part of the knightly and honorable household of Arcturus. Is famous for her combat prowess on their counter-attack upon the many raids on her home city.

Maia - She acts as head-honcho and Princess Knight for Ansur, and is a former member of the Black Dogs with skills to back it up. Is famous for being a non-noble (at least that's what most of the aristocracy say.) that rules over the city, not accepting any other titles except princess knight, mostly urged by the other members.
Kaguya - Acts as the Princess Knight and Head Shrine Maiden of Thorn. Is famous for leading the journey of her people from the "old country" that was lost to monsters and demons.
Luu-Luu - Acts as Princess Knight of Rad, and Royal Artificer of The Alliance. Is famous for crafting the finest of mithril weapons and armour (to the dwarva sense, it's decent but not that ground breaking.), and is celebrated as the saviour of Rad when her group encountered them being besieged by orcs and imps.
2. The Black Dogs:
Vult - He was acting as de-facto champion of the Seven Shields Alliance, and leader of the Black Dog Mercenary Company, before becoming the acting champion for the dreams of lustful and vile people and the new king of the 'cuntry'. If only Verod didn't appear a few years before.
Kin - He was acting as a spell caster and the calculator and informational type of the mercenary company, using wit and knowledge to outmanoeuvre his opponents.
Hicks - He was the rogue and saboteur of the mercs, using his charm and agility to also outmanoeuvre his enemies, with a nice addition of adding neck slices.
