In my fan fiction called FE AEFUW, King Garon, doesn't die at the end of the CQ route but comes back to life just after the game ends. King Garon, then becomes King of the Black Knight Kingdom (ie Noir/Nohr) once again. After 4 years, since the Black Knight Kingdom is now an elective Monarchy, a Monarch election is held where King Garon, (Black Knight Kingdom King Party) tries to run for re election against Gyuntā (Scarlet Party).
This is a choose your adventure fan fiction where you to choose which side you agree with to continue the story Rightful Heir path or the Haidora Invades the Black Knight Kingdom Path. The Rightful Heir path is where Gyuntā and the Scarlet Party win the Monarch elections fairly but King Garon and his party falsely believe that the election was stolen by Gyuntā and the Scarlet party and Garon and his minions wreck havoc on the Black Knight Kingdom for months and years trying to undo a democratically elected King Gyuntā from his throne. The Haidora Invades Nohr path, is where Haidora comes to the Black Knight Kingdom and uses his magic to steal the Monarch election for Gyuntā and the Scarlet Party thus Gyuntā becomes the new King of the Black Knight Kingdom due to cheating by Haidora. King Garon correctly complains for months that Haidora cheated to rob him of being re elected King but all evidence is hidden by Haidora.
What path did I choose? I chose the Haidora Invades the Black Knight Kingdom path since I believe that Haidora, Gyuntā and the Scarlet Party really did steal the Monarch elections and that thus Gyuntā won unfairly. I believe that King Garon won the Monarch election but that Haidora cheated and thus robbed King Garon of his victory. However I believe that if people who know about this fraud by Haidora comes forward with proof of Haidora's cheating in the Monarch election, Haidora and his Valitan goon squad will silence them, so no one has the guts to come forward yet.
In the Haidora Invades the Black Knight Kingdom path, right before Gyuntā is to set to be officially announced as the winner of the Monarch election (even though he didn't really win), hundreds of Noirian protestors loyal to King Garon peacefully protest the fraudulent Monarch election outside of Castle Krakenburg. However, Gyuntā and the Scarlet party send their henchman (Paladins, Generals, Wyvern Lords etc) to silence the protestors. Later, a Great Knight security guard opens up the gates to Castle Krakenburg to allow some of the Noirian protestors into Castle Krakenburg. Most of the chaos that day was caused by Gyuntā and his Scarlet party's henchmen silencing the peaceful Noirian protestors and also due to some Hoshide mercenaries who are loyal to Gyuntā and the Scarlet party attacking the Noirian protestors due to them also being in on the Monarch election steal by Gyuntā and his allies.
Later, after Gyuntā becomes King, he imprisons a lot of the Noirian protestors in Castle Krakenburg for months and more. I side with the Noirian protestors since they were rightfully angry that the Monarch Election was rigged for Gyuntā to win. They were peaceful and were only trying to convince the people inside of Castle Krakenburg that the Monarch Election was stolen and to protest Gyuntā being the new King, since they rightfully know that Gyuntā is a terrible politician and questionable person. I hope that the protestors who were captured by Gyuntā are set free and that Gyuntā and his corrupt Scarlet party get the justice they deserve for their cheating and abuse.
