One of the ways ASOUE could have ended, an ASOUE that's just not as unfortunate. Just one story, I will write about others later. Rated T (Violet B., Duncan Q.) (Kalus B., Isadora Q.), Quigley Q., Sunny B., Beatrice S.

From now on this will be a one-shot collection and mini-stories! Hope you like it! Also, for the sake of the story and my universe. I will be referring to Larry your waiter as Larry yw because it will get confusing because Quigly's kid is named after him. Ok, this is going to be confusing but helpful, it turns out the Jaquline never quit VFD she was just hiding it from the Baudilairs and Quagmires.

Special Guests in France Part 3

Kit POV

Something weird was going on. When our waiter came over and introduced himself, Mother and Father, Uncle Klaus, Aunt Isadora, Uncle Quigly, Aunt Sunny, and Aunt Bea all looked at eachother. Then a weird conversation started.

"Hello Larry" Violet said. "This is a Very Fancy Diner you have here" Larry (Quigly kid) looked confused on why this person had his name.

"Yes, It is, I bet you had a Very Fun Day putting it together." Klaus added

"It may have been a sad occasion." Larry yw answered. "Tell me, have you heard about the movie in the park tonight, It's supposed to be a Very Fascinating Drama."

"Oh, that sounds fun!" Me and my sister said at the same time, she was obviously sensing something was going on here too.

"Yes, but get there early, you might need a spyglass to see the movie if you don't get good seats." Larry yw said this, Violet nodded, and then he took our order.

Violet POV

Oh my gosh! Ok, to see one 'retired' VFD agent in town is odd, but Larry yw! He was only a waiter when someone needs a message. And he was obviously telling us we needed to see the message in the movie. I wouldn't be surprised if Jacqueline is in the movie. But there were 2 problems, 1, I did not bring a spyglass, but remembering who Bea's real mother is, I thought she might.

"Bea, Sunny, may I see you outside for a minute, i think I may have dropped something out there."

"Of Course" They both answered, obviously knowing I did not drop something.

"Sunny, do you remember him" I said after we were outside.

"A little bit, he is the one who brought us to Jaquline after we left VFD right?"

"Yes." I said quickly. "The thing that bothers me is that he said VFD would only reach out if our family was in danger, or if VFD was having a really big crisis."

"I don't remember him, seeing when we left VFD I was 1 day old, but his code implied we were needed, and that the message was going to be in a movie." Bea added.

"Bea, do you have a Spyglass?"

"If there is one thing I learned from my biological mother, It is to always have one handy, and to sneak it through airport security." She answered.

"Good, we can't bring everyone to the movie, because the spyglass draws attention" Sunny said

"Ok, well the 3 of us will go, along with Olivia and Kit, sense they said they wanted to come. I'll tell Quigly to call Fiona and get her down here asap, so we can find out what's going on." I proclaimed

"Quigly got Fiona's phone number, nice." Bea laughed. We went back inside and finished lunch as if nothing happened. I texted Quigly to call Fiona, and he went outside to 'Make a work call' and he texted me that she would be in the park in 10. It was decided that Quigly, Klaus, and Sunny would go and meet Fiona in the park. Then Isadora started having a panic attack, because of the whole VFD emergency thing, that Klaus and her brothers noticed, so we decided that Me, Quigly and Sunny would go, and Klaus and Duncan would try to make everything look as normal as possible. The second problem is what to do with the kids, but I didn't have time to think about that right now.

Normal POV

Klaus, Duncan, Isadora, and Bea brought the kids back to the hotel to 'decide what to do next' Olivia and Kit both said that they wanted to see the movie, Just as Violet had suspected, but the rest of the kids just said they wanted to explore Paris. So, later while Violet, Bea, Sunny, Olivia, and Kit, go to the 'movie' in the park, Duncan, Klaus, Quigly, Isadora, Sara, Leo, Nick, and Larry would look around Paris. Fiona was just called here from the Queenqueg, she was sorry that she lied, and that she didn't know more. She was told it was only suitable for their generation and younger though, Larry was there just to pass messages.

-Later-

Violet, Sunny, Bea, Olivia and Kit, were at the movie. Sunny said she would stay with her nieces, while Violet and Bea went to decipher the movie. The movie was confusing, but what the subtitles had to say were even more confusing. The first line Bea deciphered was 'Calling all VFD agents and VFD Alumni'

Violet wrote this down so she could show it to the others later 'as you know, our enemies are getting bolder' 'We need all the help we can get' 'You are all here because of your parents, alive or dead. and after this, you wont have to do anything' 'We ask you to do this, because your families are in danger of being exposed.' 'please meet at the VFD safe place in Paris tomorrow' 'Sincerely, DOW' Violet and Bea sat there for a few minutes after the movie just shocked, Bea didn't know as much about VFD as she should have, being both part Snicket and part Denouement, but Violet knew things, about VFD, and the things that could happen to her daily if she didn't solve this fast. They saw Fiona after the movie and she looked a little shocked too. She said she would find the safe place and text it to Quigly or I later. We all went back to the hotel, Olivia and Kit were complaining about the odd movie, they were just a year younger than Klaus was when we first saw one of those movies, so I wasn't surprised. When we got back, I told Olivia and Kit to get ready for bed and that they could watch a real movie on the hotel room tv with Sara if they wanted. They were happy with this.

Duncan POV

"Ok, what did you find out." I asked as Violet read me the message that her and Bea deciphered.

"They want us to volunteer." She looked up at him sadly.

"They are making us, if its to protect the triplets, then I'll do it. But only me, If one of us dies we need the other to live." I stated

"No, We will all do it. I don't know how. But I can never be separated from you my love, If one of us goes down, the other one falls into the quiet world to." She smiled at her own metaphor. "I am just nervous now"

"Well, I think I can help with that." I pulled her into a deep kiss. And lets just say that we didn't get as much sleep as we should have last night. What, we're married, we can do whatever we want, little did we know, Klaus and Isadora were having a similar conversation with a similar outcome.

Authors note: I am running out of ideas for this certain multi part story. Please give me suggestions.
