After the Whirl Cup Competition was over, saying goodbye to Trinity, the gang headed over to Silver Rock Isle, the fourth island of the Whirl Islands.

And while the gang were there, they were doing a little sight seeing around the area. The gang saw many items that are Silver Wing looked-liked; food, accessories and many more. Ember thought that they looked really great but it didn't compare to her real Silver Wing. Apparently there was a good reason for Silver Rock Isle obsession with Silver Wing shaped.

Long, long ago a fishing ship, was passing nearby Silver Rock Isle, a storm suddenly came, an incredibly angry, violent storm. The thunder roared, ocean rage and tidal waves, larger than sea before, pounded on the poor sailors. And when the sailors were about to give up hope...A whirlpool, shining a mysterious bright light arose and the storm vanish, in no time at all, the skies cleared and sea at peace once again. Then watch come falling from the sky, but a shimmering Silver Wing. The sailors thought that it's a sign from the sea and that was saved the sailors that day.

And so any jewelry that is made of Silver Rock stone from this island, will protect anyone wearing it from any danger.

The gang found the story amazing to hear and they found out that the ship ended its journey somewhere on Ogi Isle.

So when the gang finished looking around Kasado City, they headed headed over to a cave which is a tunnel that leads to Ogi Isle.

"Is is it?" Misty asked.

"Yeah it is." Brock looked at the guide book, "This cave should lead us to Ogi Isle."

"Lets go." Ember said.

The gang walked into the cave.

Inside the cave was dark, but not completely since they entered when it was daylight still.

"This feels creepy a bit." Misty looked around.

"Being under the ocean, yeah it's creepy alright." Ember agreed.

"It's hard to believe that this one cave can lead us to Ogi Isle." Brock commented.

"Rairai!" Tesla chirped up, seeing light ahead.

"Alright, the end of the tunnel." Misty cheered as she ran ahead.

Ember and Brock followed after her.

Once the gang entered Ogi Isle, they saw a great view of the ocean and other islands.

"Wow." Ember said, as she felt the breeze here.

"Rai~~" Tesla enjoyed the breeze.

Brock saw something in the grass, "Its a Pikachu." He said.

"Wha?" Misty said.

The Pikachu stood up, with its back turned back towards the gang still.

"It is." Misty said.

"Maybe there is a whole bunch of Pikachu here?" Brock commented.

"I don't think so." Ember said.

Tesla recognized the Pikachu, she beamed, "Raichu! (Sparky!)" She said.

"Eh? Sparky?" Ember said.

Pikachu in the grass turned around, "Pikachu?! (Tesla?!)" He yelped.

"Yep, that's Sparky alright. Sparky is the only Pikachu I know that has that hairstyle." Brock added.

"Definitely." Misty agreed. "Then that means-"

"Sparky?" A familiar voice called out.

"Huh?" The gang turned to side and saw Ritchie Hiroshi.

"Hey Ritchie!" Ember smiled at their old friend.

The gang and Ritchie all sat down on flat rocks.

"You guys!" Ritchie smiled at the gang. "It's been awhile."

"Yeah, we haven't seen each other since the end of the Indigo League." Ember said.

Ritchie nodded, "I heard that you won the Whirl Cup. Congratulations by the way." He told Ember.

"Thanks."

"So what brings you to Ogi Isle, Ritchie?" Brock asked, curiously.

"A Mysterious Pokémon nearby." Ritchie replied.

"You too." Ember said.

Ritchie nodded, "Yes and in fact I've been doing a lot of research on places it's likely to show up. There hasn't been many reports and witnesses don't even agree what it looks like but all sighting was here on Ogi Isle. And so I figured I might come here and see what might turn up." He explained.

"Same as us." Brock said.

"Yeah but the truth is that we know what Pokémon it is." Misty said.

"Really? What Pokémon is it?" Ritchie asked, eagerly.

"It's a Lugia." Ember replied.

"A Lugia?!" Ritchie said, surprised, "I've read about Lugia... ... But how do you know what it is?" He looked at the gang.

"We've seen a shadow and cry at Blue Point Isle, it swam underneath us." Ember said, "And the reason why I recognize it as a Lugia is because I have a Lugia of my own." She released Poseidon from his Pokéball.

"Auuu~" Poseidon lets out a happy cry and landed beside his trainer.

Ritchie and Sparky could not believe their eyes once they saw Ember's Lugia.

"Wow Ember, how in the world did you obtain a Lugia?" Ritchie asked.

Ember explained to Ritchie about meeting Poseidon's father in the Orange Islands and about giving him to her when he was only a baby.

Ritchie and Sparky nodded, dumbly, they looked funny doing that.

Poseidon looked at Ritchie and Sparky, he stepped forward and felt like he can trust them because his trainer showed him to them.

"But wow, just wow." Ritchie awed, as he touched Poseidon, "I'm touching a Lugia."

"Auuu!" Poseidon nuzzled Ritchie.

"Pika..." Sparky was in awe of the Legendary Pokémon in front of him and laughs as he was nuzzled by him next.

Poseidon smiled and then dived back into the ocean. His head popped up on the surface.

"But is it safe for Poseidon to swim about?" Ritchie questioned.

"Don't worry, I have just the Pokémon to look out for him." Ember took out another Pokéball, "Come on out, Rory!"

"Gyararrrr." Rory appeared above water next to Poseidon.

"A Shiny Gyarados?!" Ritchie exclaimed.

Ember nodded, "Yup."

"Don't worry, no one would want to mess with the wrong side of a Gyarados." Misty assured Ritchie.

"Auuu~~" Poseidon lets out a happy cry, "Auuu!"

"Auuuu~~" Another cry heard, but it sounds smaller.

"Did you all hear that?" Brock asked.

"Yeah." Misty replied.

"It's a baby Lugia cry. Poseidon made that sound before when he was still a baby." Ember explained.

"I think it came from that island." Ritchie said, pointing to an island near, where they were.

"Let's go over there and investigate." Ember suggested.

"Right." Everyone agreed.

The gang and Ritchie found a rowboat and paddled over to the other island.

"Auu~" Poseidon followed, staying close to the rowboat with Rory following underneath the water.

When they arrived, they saw a boy riding on a Lanturn with a baby Lugia beside him, swimming away from a big black submarine.

"It's a baby Lugia!" Misty gasped.

"And they're in trouble!" Brock added.

"Hey!" Ember shouted out.

The boy saw the gang and Ritchie.

"Quick! Come to shore at once!" Ember shouted out.

The little boy wasn't sure but he didn't have much choice, he, Lanturn and the baby Lugia headed towards the shore.

"I bet that's Team Rocket." Misty growled.

Then the submarine stopped near them.

"Prepare for trouble you got that right." A male voice said.

"And make it double." A female voice said.

Two people came out of the submarine, a golden hair woman and a green hair man. Ember recognized those two. It was Cassidy and Butch, the smarter yet annoying grunts of Team Rocket. It was always funny whenever someone didn't say Butch's name right.

"Cause we're here for a fight." The man continued.

"To infect the world with devastation." The woman said.

"To blight all people in every nation."

"To denounce the goodness of truth and love."

"To extend our wrath to the stars above."

"Cassidy!" The woman introduced herself.

"And Butch of course!" The man introduced himself.

"Rory, Double Team and Hyper Beam!" Ember interrupted.

Rory came out of the water and made copies of himself and summoned up an orange colored energy in his mouth and shot it towards the submarine which caused it to explode and send Cassidy and Butch into the air.

"Why did that twerp have to interrupt us?!" Cassidy snapped.

"We didn't get to finish our great motto!" Butch whined.

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF JUST LIKE THOSE LOSERS!" The duo screamed before they disappeared into the sky.

"Well that takes care of them." Ritchie said.

"I didn't think we would come across more annoying Team Rocket members." Misty commented.

Brock nodded, "Yeah."

Ember turned to the boy, Lanturn, and baby Lugia, "You three okay?"

The boy nodded, "Yeah, we're good."

"Ember!" A female voice called out.

Everyone turned to the voice and saw a boat. It was a familiar one too. Then it hit her.

Ember smiled, "It's Luka!"

"Thank you for saving us. My name is Oliver and this is Silver." The boy introduces himself and the baby Lugia.

"Auuu~" Silver said.

"Um, so I was right about it being a baby Lugia." Ember said, stroking Silver's neck, who cooed in response.

"Auu~" Poseidon spoke.

Ember stopped.

"Auu~" Silver spoke back.

Both Lugia's got acquainted with each other.

Oliver smiled, "I'm surprise that Lugia is yours, Ember." He said.

"Yes, I got Poseidon when he was still a baby." Ember said.

Brock looked closely at the Lugia and realized, "This Lugia is still young, younger than Poseidon. It can't fly yet, can it?" He asked.

Oliver nodded, "Yeah, it can't fly yet." He replied.

"So Oliver, how did you meet Silver?" Luka asked, curiously.

"I was swimming out in the ocean with my Lanturn one day and this storm appeared out of nowhere, Lanturn and I got caught in it. Lanturn tried to get us back to the shore but the waves were too rough for us and it seems like I was going to drown." Oliver explained, he shivered slightly, "But then we were saved by Silver and his parent." He smiled at the end.

"Wow, you've had quite an experience there." Ritchie said, just hearing the story it was tough for the little boy.

Oliver nodded, "Yeah and I've been friends with Silver ever since. I've never shown Silver to anyone before because I'm afraid that someone bad may try to catch him." He said, remembering Team Rocket group from before.

"Don't worry Oliver, we meet and see lots of bad people ourselves ." Misty said.

"It wasn't cool but don't worry we won't reveal your secret." Brock assured.

The gang, Ritchie and Luka nodded, agreeing.

"Thank you!" Oliver said, he felt relieved with them.

Ember stared at the ocean and saw something moving quickly.

"Where is Silver's parent anyway?" Brock asked, curiously.

"That, Brock, is about to be answered." Ember replied.

Before anyone could asked Ember what she meant by that, the ocean water erupted, revealing an angry looking Lugia.

"AUUUUUU!" Lugia roared out.

Brock gulped, "I think that Lugia is angry because we are stranger and it's fears that we're here to harm it and it's baby." He managed to say.

"You don't say!" Misty exclaimed, shivering.

Ember saw Luka's Silver Wing glowing red, 'So that Silver Wing belongs to this Lugia.' She thought.

She needed to calm Lugia down before it could hurt someone. She quickly took out her ocarina and began playing Lugia's song.

The adult Lugia began to calm down, hearing a familiar sound, soon it was calm. "Auuu?" It roared.

Luka's Silver Wing stopped glowing red.

"Nice work." Misty praised Ember.

Ember smiled at at her as she place the ocarina down, "Poseidon, could you explain to Lugia that we're not here to harm Silver and her." She said.

Poseidon nodded, he went to the adult Lugia and speak to it in his PokéLanguage.

The adult Lugia listened, carefully as the young Lugia spoke, Lugia can sense that this young Lugia belongs to the Lugia in the Orange Islands and her son joined in, telling his mother that they are nice humans, who saved him and his friend from bad people.

"Auuu~" Lugia nuzzled her son.

"Auuu~" Silver smiled.

"We're safe." Misty said.

"That's a relief." Ritchie sighed.

Suddenly they heard explosions nearby. They turned to the sound and saw a trail of smoke in the distance.

"What was that?" Ritchie asked, surprised.

Then Lucario, Mystique, and Genji appeared.

"(There were some Team Rocket grunts nearby.)" Lucario said.

"Gren Greninja. (And we took care of them.)" Genji added with his arms crossed.

"Inteleon. (They were so weak.)" Mystique added.

"I see." Ember understood.

"So that's why you sent out Lucario, Genji, and Mystique. You had a hunch that Team Rocket was nearby." Misty realized.

Ember nodded, "I had a bad feeling that they were nearby."

"But you also have a feeling there might be a base nearby as well." Brock stated.

"Yeah. That's why I sent Blastoise and Lapras out before we came to Ogi Isle. Hopefully they'll be able to deal with Team Rocket." Ember prayed.

"Yeah." Brock agreed.

Ember turned to Lugia, "Lugia, I know this is too much to ask, but could you stay ashore until the Team Rocket threat is over with?" She asked.

Lugia stared at Ember for a moment or two and then made her decision, "Auuu~(Okay)"

"Anyways, how about we have some lunch?" Brock offered.

"Sounds like a good idea." Misty agreed.

Brock was cooking up some stew while the Pokémon were out. Most of them were playing while some of the water Pokémon were swimming along the shore. Silver and Poseidon liked playing with them.

"I have to admit Ember that you have some rare Pokémon." Ritchie commented when he saw Coraline and Nariko.

"Yeah. But I'm just glad that they decided to stay with me." Ember smiled.

"I'm also impressed that you were able to calm down Lugia." Ritchie said, glancing over at Lugia who was watching Silver play with the gang's water Pokémon.

"I heard that sometimes music calms the soul. I also remember that song that Melody played with her ocarina when we were at the Orange Islands." Ember stated.

"I see." Ritchie said.

Then Ember felt her other water Pokémon coming over. Rory, Blastoise, and Lapras appeared near the shore.

"Hey guys, how did go?" Ember asked.

"Blast Blastoise. (We destroyed their base.)" Blastoise replied.

"Gyara Gyara. (With the help of the other Gyarados's I came across.)" Rory added.

"Lap Lapras. (It was somewhat funny when Rory and the other Gyarados sent them flying.)" Lapras added.

"Thanks you guys, good work." Ember thanked them which made them smile. Then she turned to the others, "Well, since Team Rocket's out of the area, let's go swimming."

Misty nodded, "Yeah."

"I'll lend you my driving gears." Luka offered.

"Thank you." Ember said.

Luka gave Ember, Brock, Misty, Ritchie and Oliver her extra driving gear. Tesla and Togepi stayed on the boat with Luka.

The group was having a fun time playing with Poseidon and Silver. Lugia was also playing with them as she showed them the other water Pokémon that were in the area.

Luka was looking at her Silver Wing, "Great-Grandfather, I hope you are watching this." She said, softly.

Suddenly, Poseidon and Silver were captured in a net.

"Poseidon!" Ember cried out.

"Silver!" Oliver cried out.

"Haaaaa!" A familiar laugh rang out.

The gang turned to the sound and saw Team Rocket's Magikarp Submarine that had Poseidon and Silver in its net.

"Team Rocket!" The gang and Ritchie yelled.

"Prepare for trouble!"

"And make it double!"

"Rory, use Iron Tail on their submarine!" Ember ordered.

Rory's tail glowed a metallic color and he swam forward and cut the net open, setting Poseidon and Silver free. Team Rocket gasped at the outcome.

"Rory, Blastoise, Lapras, Hyper Beam! Lugia, Aeroblast!" Ember called out.

All of the water Pokémon summoned the orange colored energy in their mouths while Lugia summoned an orange and yellow energy from her mouth and shot it towards the submarine which caused it to explode and sent Team Rocket out of the water.

"So much for getting those Lugia's." Meowth complained.

"We would have gotten a big promotion." Jessie added.

"Probably a bigger one than Cassidy and Botch." James added.

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet saluted.

The trio sighed.

"LOOKS LIKE TEAM ROCKET'S BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" They trio screamed before they disappeared into the sky.

"WOBBA WOBBA!" Wobbuffet added.

The gang, Ritchie, Luka and Oliver all watched as Lugia and Silver left the area.

Oliver cried, "Its probably best if the Lugia's don't stay around here." He sniffed. "I'm gonna miss them a lot."

"Don't worry. When Silver grows up big and strong enough to leave his mother, I'm sure he'll be back to see you again." Brock said.

Oliver nodded, "You're right." He smiled, with happy tears, "Silver! Goodbye! Goodbye!" He waved.

Luka opened up her locket, revealing the Silver Wing, "I know that great-grandfather is looking down from heaven, hoping that those two won't get separated again." She said.

"Auuu!"

"Auu~"

Both mother and son looked back at the humans that they became friends with.

"Bye Lugia, Silver!"

"Take care!"

"Be careful!"

"Good luck!"

"You grow big and strong!"

The gang, Ritchie, Oliver, Luka and their Pokémon all waved.

"Auuuu~" Poseidon lets out a happy cry.

"Gyararrrr." Rory roared, softy.

Lanturn jumped out of water, "Lannn!" It said.

"Auuu!" Both Lugia's jumped into the air one more time and into the ocean, leaving the area.

The next morning the gang were getting ready, they were on Luka's boat, as Ritchie and Oliver stood on the shore.

"I think I'm going to continue exploring the Whirl Islands." Ritchie told the gang.

"Well, we're heading to Olivine City." Ember said, "Bye for now."

"I hope you to see again, Ember. I've gotten a lot stronger. So we'll battle again someday." Ritchie said.

Ember nodded, "Sure thing, Ritchie." She said.

"So are you guys still headed to the port in Transit Town?" Luka asked.

"Yes, there's a ferry there to Olivine City." Brock responded.

Luka turned back, "Then let's go." She starts up the boat and began to move.

"Take care." Ember said to the both of them.

"Bye Ritchie!" Misty waved.

"Take care Oliver!" Brock waved.

Oliver waved, "Come visit someday!" He said. "Lanturn and I will be waiting for you us!"

Lanturn nodded, "Lann!"

"Bye!" Brock waved.

"Have a safe trip you guys!" Ritchie said.

"Pika Pika!" Sparky waved.

"Rarai!" Tesla waved.

As our heroes bid farewell to Ritchie, Oliver, Sparky and Lanturn, they are happy that they were able to protect the two Lugia's, through trust and teamwork, they crushed Team Rocket's plan and now they can continue their way back to Olivine City.
