Enri Emmot was just one of thousands of peasant girls that lived in the Re-Estize Kingdom. She never was one to dream outside of her humble village of Carne. However that didn't mean she was one to sit around and just do her chores like most around her age.
She has always seen the warrior captain as a man to strive to be like. If even a fraction of his greatness could be achieved, she knew Carne could easily become a grand trade city like E-Rantel. So she had spent many evenings, after she finished her chores, to train herself to be a shield for her village as Gazeff is a shield for the king and kingdom.
One day as their village's overseeing noble had visited to collect the taxes, he had noticed Enri's training despite her efforts to keep it secret. He was a minor Noble that had no power in the political circus of the kingdom, but held enough influence to allow him to collect the taxes from the outer villages to the north, rather than the more corrupt nobles in the area. Since he held no sway in the kingdom, he was actually one of the few that liked Gazef Stronoff, and in turn admired Enri's dedication. Though instead of using his position to take her for his own, he instead gave pointers for training. A habit that formed whenever he showed up to collect the taxes.
The last time he showed up was different however, it seemed as if he was mourning. He hadn't even visited Enri, in fact he avoided her completely, just collecting the copper and crops before heading on his way. Enri was of course confused, but paid it no mind. She heard from Nfirea that the Nobles knew something was going to happen, not even bothering to hide it. She just hoped it wasn't anything bad.
Enri had just finished her chores for the day and was starting on her training. She never was able to do much, only basics she heard would help and whatever the noble had told her. Nemu was watching today, her younger sister had always been curious about what she had been doing. More specifically it came up after their mother had scolded Enri for accidentally ripping the sleeves of her dress again.
As Enri finished her warm ups, she heard a rumbling in the distance that grew louder. Eventually it stopped, but the sound that replaced it was far worse. Screams started sounding out along with shouts of exertion, it was without a doubt an attack.
She thought for a moment to find her parents, but knew that running into the center of town would leave her wide open for multiple attacks. Her parents would no doubt tell her to take Nemu and run, the screams of pain she knew came from her father solidified her resolve. With speed she hadn't realized she possessed, Enri picked up Nemu and ran around the outside of the village, hoping to get into the forest and lose any attackers that might spot her.
Her plan was mostly successful, but one stubborn knight was able to follow her out into a large clearing. Realizing that this most likely will continue if she ran, Enri lightly tossed Nemu behind a bush before facing her assailant.
The knight was panting, no doubt annoyed about how long he chased her through the trees in the heavy armor. He pulled out his sword, prepared to cut her down, while Enri looked back on what the noble had taught her. She knew the knight was dangerous, even more so with his weapon, but panicking would only turn a molehill into a mountain. She leveled her breathing, keeping an eye on where his sword is.
The first to move was the knight, angered by how calm the peasant girl was being. He charged forward, his sword raised up to his right for a downward slash. As he swung, Enri ducked and dodged forward to his right. She stumbled to the ground, but gained enough of her senses to take advantage of his overreaching, kicking her foot out at his right ankle hard enough to knock him down. She immediately pounced at the opportunity and got onto his back before he could recover.
The knight struggled to try and swing his sword, but Enri was luckily able to find a sizable rock and bash his right hand in. The knight began to struggle even more and scream profanities, but Enri kept up with the rock and bashing in joints of the armor. At one point the knight got lucky with a rollover and backhanded Enri before getting up. Unfortunately she still had the rock, and slamming the rock with both hands hard enough to break it and the knight's knee kept him down for the count.
Once she knew the knight wouldn't be able to get up, Enri grabbed the discarded sword. Raising it up with the blade pointed down, she impaled the knight in the chest. Falling to her knees once the knight stopped breathing. Nemu ran out of the bushes as everything quieted down, she didn't pay attention to the knight and just hugged her sister, Enri hugging back.
After a few minutes of resting, the two got up, Enri pulling the sword out of the knight before they continued walking away from the village.

Momonga had spent his first three days within the tomb, most of the time spent doing more tests with Aura and Mare. He had found the two very pleasant to chat with, eventually learning about what BukubukuChagama had spoken about with the twins. At first he was surprised, but that quickly went away realizing it basically means there are at least two people here he can be more casual with. Something he desperately needed with everyone else kissing the very ground he walked upon. He wasn't upset with the other NPCs, just tired.
Currently he was attempting to use the Mirror of Remote Viewing, and failing. " Certainly doesn't help that it used UI buttons to control it before-wait a minute" he began to think, raising his hand to the top of the mirror and watching as the scenery within it began to move. He heard clapping behind him.
"Well done lord Momonga." Sebas said earnestly with both as much and as little emotion possible.
Momonga just let out a quiet sigh before continuing to view the outside world through the mirror. He soon came across a village bustling with activity. "Hmm, is it some sort of festival?" He mumbled, scratching his chin with his finger as if deeply thinking.
Sebas came up beside Momonga to view the mirror as well. "I believe the village is under attack, lord."
"Umu…" Momonga was a bit disturbed about his lack of reaction to all that was going on, knowing full well he'd be throwing up if he were still human. What did catch his attention though was a girl near the back of the village that seemed to sprint around the village, heading into the forest. He continued to follow her as she fought off a knight that caught up to her.
" It would probably be pointless to go after that village, but the girl seems like she could be useful. Better decide quickly though." He thought, watching as three other knights surrounded the girl.
Making his decision, with the help of Touch-Me, Momonga stood up. "Sebas, I'm going to save the two girls, inform Albedo to set Nazarick's defences to maximum while I'm away, and also let Aura and Mare know to prepare and follow me as soon as possible." With that he opened up a gate and stepped through.

Enri was outnumbered, that much was clear, but she'd make sure as many died as possible so Nemu had a better chance to run. She quickly brought the sword she took up as the knight on her left charged first, her arms shaking as she blocked the first strike. She brought her foot up and sparta kicked the knight in the stomach, throwing him to the ground with a noticeable dent in his armor. Unfortunately the knight to her right slashed at her side, cutting fairly deep. With a cry she grabbed the handle with both hands and slashed at the knight, cutting his armor and leaving a gash in his chest. The pain quickly became unbearable and she fell to the ground, Nemu hugging her as she did.
The middle knight walked up to Enri, raising his sword high into the air. She noticed his large grin through the slots in the armor. Though before he could swing down, she heard something tearing behind her, and the knight immediately backed away. The other two knights joined up with the third as their fear continued to mount.
Enri turned as much as her wound would allow to see what the knights were afraid of, and regretted it. Death itself had stepped into the mortal plane from a hole torn into reality. His dark robes, that absorb all light around it, partially open to reveal his unblemished ribcage, and a red orb pulsing with power. His head was just a skull, cracked and scarred with the burdens of life and death, sockets holding two burning red flames filled with malice for all who dare live in it's presence. The golden staff it wields molded from seven snakes, twisted and tangled as each head holds a gem of unimaginable power.
The being reached out it's right hand, uttering the words 'Grasp Heart'. A heart soon appeared and was crushed in that hand, the middle knight falling to the ground dead. The other two knights began to run away in a panic, but something ran past her, grabbing the knights by their heads and holding them down.
Something moved in the corner of her eye, and when she looked up she saw a beautiful dark skinned maiden shrouded in black robes. They held their hand out to Enri's cheek, casting 'Heal' which healed the wound on her side. She looked up to them before speaking. "Thank you miss." Though she noticed how they looked at her strangely, and the one holding down the knights began to laugh.

"Hahahahahaha! Didn't you hear her miss, she thanked you." Aura guffawed, not worried about the knights escaping her hold. Mare just blushed, informing the girl he was male before getting up and joining his sister.
"These knights seem to be from a more elite army, but I only read them to be level ten." Mare said, glancing at the two as his passive skill Peer into the Unknown allowed him to see their stats. "If this is some of their best, I don't think we have much to worry about."
Aura just looked down at the two knights, squeezing their heads before they cracked and stopped moving. "How boring." She muttered. "What about the girl?"
"She seemed to be level fifteen at least, just lacking good equipment and unfocused classes." Mare replied, watching Momonga use his undead summoning spell on the knight he killed. A black ooze covered the knight before changing its shape and size into a Death Knight.
Momonga looked up to the large undead, before pointing at one of the knights Aura killed. "Go forth to the village, kill all that look like those knights." He commanded, the Death Knight let out a loud roar before charging into the trees.
" Good job, send away the undead that's meant to protect you" He chastised himself before looking down at the girl. She seemed terrified, but seemed to be putting forth an effort to calm down. To help with that, he chose to speak in a less imposing voice. "We should make our way to your village, would you care to join us?"
Enri just looked up at him without saying anything for almost a minute, once she snapped out of her stupor she replied. "U-umm sure, we'd like to." She stood up with Nemu still in her arms. Momonga walked past her and began to summon two more Death Knights before she spoke again. "Th-thank you for saving us, may we know your name?"
He looked towards the girl, wondering just how he should reply. " My name's Suzuki Satoru, as well as Momonga, but are they really? I've been the one keeping the guild alive, and the others practically begged me to continue the guild. I think I know my answer."
He spread his arms out with slight dramatic flair, the staff releasing it's aura along with him. "It would be wise for you to remember this name on whichever path in life you take, I am ruler of death, the overlord of Nazarick, I am Ainz Ooal Gown!"
/Author Notes/
Bam! Stupidly dramatic Ainz reveal that I have no doubts isn't actually dramatic, but it just felt right. I can finally throw away his old name.
We meet the first member of the new guild, Enri!
I understand that the rules state all members must be a heteromorph, but all good things come to those who wait, and good things are certainly on the horizon, I feel it in Ainz's bones. Anyway, peace out people.
