As the three enter the potion shop, it's immediately clear there was a struggle. Though the three zombie corpses on the ground with very familiar appearances bring a bit of confusion.
Enri goes ahead into the back of the shop, finding Ninya crying on the floor. The paladin immediately runs to her before embracing the shorter girl in a hug. Ninya struggles for a second, but goes back to crying when she recognizes the other girl.
After a couple minutes Enri speaks. "What happened here, why are the others…" She didn't finish, the guilt of knowing something like this would happen gnawing at her. " More people I let die, and this time I could've done something."
"I-I don't know, we just walked in and they turned into zombies," Ninya started, the two girls hearing Momon and Lupu discussing how to find the ones who did it. "Th-there were robed people that took Nfirea. A creepy woman said she wanted to kill me personally, I was so scared."
Enri patted her back "You're still alive, did something happen?" She asked
"After the robed people left, she just took me to this room." Ninya wiped her eyes a bit, calming a little from Enri's hug and the not bad part of the memories. "She apologized, and then killed my zombified teammates before leaving. I-I was just too scared to move."
Ainz stepped into the room and called Ninya's name, when the shorter girl looked up he spoke. "Do you want to be strong, to make sure nothing like this ever happens again?." His words seemed heavier than usual, as if all life hung in the balance. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't a bit scared.
"I-I... Do." Ninya said. "I've lost so much, I don't want to lose anymore," She begins to tear up, unintentionally making Enri feel even more guilty. "I want to be truly happy again."
Ainz nods, holding his hand out as a dark portal opens in the room. "Go through this portal and rest, we will deal with the ones who did this. Afterwards we'll talk, okay?" He removed his helmet as he spoke, feeling as though the deeper voice might be a bit too much for this. Ninya slowly gets up before looking at him, then before anyone knew what was going on, she jumped up and kissed him before running into the portal.
After the portal closed, Ainz looked at Enri, who just had a small smirk. "I ship it."
Ainz blushed furiously at her words, he hurriedly put his helmet back on. He awkwardly cleared his throat. "Let's get going, I'd rather not let this Kajiit stay alive any longer."
"What should I do with Clementine? The Eight Edged Assassins reported the Windflower Scripture is searching through the city, and I have no doubts they're looking for her."
Ainz scratched the bottom of his helmet. "Umu, normally I'd say give her to them, but I'm technically already enemies with the Slane Theocracy so it doesn't matter."
The two left the back room as Lupusregina finished purifying the corpses. "If you're wondering, the old lady went to hide somewhere till this whole thing is dealt with."
Ainz gives a nod. "That's good, I don't expect things to go too far, but I'd rather not lose our new alchemist because we underestimated the enemy."
"So what are you doing with Clementine Emi?" Lupusregina asked, Enri blushed a bit at the nickname.
"I think I'm going to keep her around. She's kinda like a kitten, in a psychopathic- no, kittens are normally like that." She let out a bit of a laugh before they headed out to the graveyard.

The main gates to the cemetery were alight with activity and panic, guards were fighting off a horde of undead that suddenly amassed. "Where is Roland? He was supposed to get adventurers from the guild!" The guardsman captain shouted, he had full plate armor compared to the rest having only leather with a few metal plates.
"He wasn't able to get far sir, a skeleton with a bow had shot him in the head." Another guardsman said, able to stab a zombie in the head and push it back over the wall. A skeleton had jumped over to attack him, but it was cut in half by a giant sword.
The guards became slightly dumbfounded as three copper plate adventurers arrived and started clearing out the undead with ease. One of them wearing black armor came up to the captain. "Take a couple of your men and head to the Adventurer guild, we'll deal with the undead."
"And why should I trust some cooper plates to not get my men killed?" The captain asked, a bit of snark in his voice.
In response the man leaned over, looking far more imposing despite not being that much taller. "Because the longer it takes for adventurers to be sent out, the more people die." He said, stepping back and leaping over the gate to join his teammates. The three easily wiping out all the undead as they went further in.
"Who was that, captain?" A guardsman asked, running up to the captain.
"That, was the birth of a legend." The captain quickly snapped out of his daze, immediately ordering two guards to join him to the adventurer's guild.

Clearing out the undead was easy, especially since they technically didn't fight back. Enri made sure she thanked Ainz later for his undead dominance. " Funny how he can dominate the undead and lead beings of unimaginable power, but turns into a blushing mess when teased or complimented." She giggled mentally, though the thought of cute boys brought her back to the one she was worried about.
" I hope Enfi's okay, if those necromancers did anything to him." Her thoughts went to anger and she let out a low growl, one that Lupusregina heard.
"Something wrong Emi? You look like you wanna kill someone." She asked with a slight laugh.
Enri calmed herself down before nodding. "I'm fine, just hoping they haven't done anything to Enfi." Lupusregina let out an 'oh' before nodding along in agreement. The alchemist was cute to tease, not as much as Ainz, but no one can really surpass a supreme being in anything.
They reached the large tomb most of the negative energy was coming from. There were six black robed necromancers and the red one the shadow demons spoke about. Kajiit stood and turned around, eyeing the newcomers with suspicion. He had made plenty of undead to hold back even Mithril ranked teams, how did they get here?
"What brings you here, do you have a death wish or something?" He spoke, his voice cracked and raspy. The one in silver armor stepped forward.
"I wish to fight the one who killed my friends." Enri said, she looked calm, but her voice portrayed someone ready to break a person's spine. Kajiit watched Clementine hop down from the roof of the tomb, she gestured with her Stilettos for the girl to follow.
After the two left, the one in the dark armor immediately charged forward, and in one fluid motion killed all the lesser necromancers.
Kajiit panicked, he was only barely able to block the sword swing with his wall of bones. This adventurer was not a copper plate, but that didn't matter. He pulled out the death orb, using its infinite power to summon a skeleton dragon. The massive creature burst from the ground, sending the two adventurers back.
"Hahahahahahaha! Gaze upon your doom and weep!" Kajiit cackled, using the orb to absorb more negative energy. "Soon this city will fall, and I shall become the greatest lich to ever exist!" He thought with a manic grin on his face.
"You know, I'm starting to understand why the earth dragon was summoned instead." The dark armored adventurer said to the one in the robes.
Kajiit falters a bit, though he quickly recovers. "Now my skeletal dragon, kill those pathetic adventurers!" The dragon immediately charges towards the two. He falters again once he sees the dark armored adventurer look back, they then backhand the dragon. The creature flies a good dozen meters or so before stopping.
When Kajiit looks back, the armored adventurer is gone, now replaced with someone in dark robes. The necromancer immediately connects the dots, panic filling his entire body. "They weren't a warrior, they're a magic caster. How strong is their magic, if they can backhand a dragon so easily?"
The caster looks towards the skeletal dragon as it gets up, saying 'Undead Devour' as the massive beast disintegrated before even realizing its demise.
Ainz covered his mouth, his cheeks bulging before he can swallow it down. "Ugh! I need to remember not to use that spell again in this form… My stomach kinda hurts now." He thought as his face went a bit green. The Undead Devour spell was an Overlord specific trait, it allowed the user to instantly kill lower level undead, or heavily damage higher tiered ones. It was meant to restore mana, since the spell required little to cast at the cost of it only working once an hour. It seems as though the spell works a bit more literally in a human form, at least that's what he hoped.
Kajiit was at a loss of what to do, one of the most powerful undead was beaten easily, and the death orb seemed to want to go to the magic caster. He shook his head, holding the orb up again as he summoned one of the legendary undead. A large flamberge broke through the ground, followed by a massive undead creature and its equally massive tower shield. "You may have killed the dragon, but this creature is unbeaten by any within the realm or mortals!"
Ainz just looked at the death knight before looking at Lupusregina. She just looked back with a shrug, "I can go join Enri if you want, we can keep that ability of yours between us. Su~"
He blushed furiously, yelling at Lupusregina to knock it off as she hip checked the Death Knight, laughing all the while before leaving the clearing. The necromancer looked at Ainz with a dumbfounded and angry expression. "Just what the hell are you!?" He shouted "Killing a skeletal dragon, and now acting as if you aren't staring at death incarnate, who are you!?" The old man panted, all his years of dealing with impossible things and keeping cool, all ruined by some girly man in a gown.
Ainz only tilted his head a bit, wondering what was meant before it finally clicked. "Momon is just an alias, I suppose that since you won't escape here I can tell you who I am." His robes began to blow in a non existent breeze, his eyes began to glow a hateful crimson that'll strike fear even in the most brainless of undead. The Death Knight shuddered along with its summoner before it turned around, pointing its sword at Kajiit, much to his surprise. "I am Ainz Ooal Gown, and I grow tired of your pitiful magic."
He then pointed at the necromancer, causing Kajiit to step back as the Death Knight charged towards him. His attempts at using the orb were useless, and in his final moments, he could've sworn the man was no longer there, replaced by the embodiment of death. He screamed as his life flashed before his eyes, and then there was silence. The Death Knight raised its sword with a mighty roar, the body of the necromancer skewered upon it.
As Ainz watched, he couldn't help but cringe at his dramatics. " I feel like I'm turning into Ulbert or something, makes me feel more nauseous than the rotted taste in my mouth." With a shiver he dons the black armor once again, killing the Death Knight after an apology before entering the tomb.

Enri and Clementine entered an area a distance away from the tomb, the former black scripture member was surprised how long she could pretend to not be absolutely terrified with her new 'employers'. They all could single-handedly kill her without much effort, and she wasn't able to save all the members of the adventurer team. So to say she wasn't having a good time is a massive understatement.
"I'm not mad at you if that's what you're thinking," Enri said, Clementine flinched before realizing what was said and looking at her with hope. " Damnit, how is she so cute! This is supposed to be a serious situation." The paladin cleared her throat a bit before continuing. "Ninya told me what happened, an instant zombification spell can't really be stopped unless you can cast fifth tier divine magic. So I don't blame you for that, as a matter of fact, I want to take you with me."
"W-would you really be okay with that? I don't know how I can really be of use to you." Clementine said, her tone getting a bit sad towards the end. At that she couldn't handle it anymore, and Enri bolted forward and kissed her on the lips. The two stayed like that in a mix of shock and enjoyment till Enri broke it off. "O-oh, I understand now."
The two stood there with blushes on their faces, unsure of what to say now. At least till Lupusregina came in, a cheerful smile that quickly turns into a grin upon seeing The two. "Something happen? Su~" She squats in front of Enri. "I thought we were saving your boyfriend, did you already move on from him? Su~" She's pushed to the ground, laughing as Enri stands up and blushes even more.
"What did I get myself into." Clementine mutters to herself, her face still red. " I'm not into girls am I? Why the hell did that feel so good, her strong arms…" Steam practically bursts from her ears as her face gets even more red than Enri's.
The two calmed down eventually, Lupusregina received a message letting her know that Ainz was done, and that the guild showed up. She was also told that something happened to Nfirea, but she figured that was something Enri should see for herself. A portal was opened up, and after giving Enri her Stilettos, she walked in.
The two headed over to where Ainz was, he told Enri that Nfirea was being checked on, and afterwards would be moving to their city with his grandmother. She asked to see him, but was told to wait till he moves in. Lupusregina was giggling a bit, confusing Enri more.
A man wearing armored caster robes walked up to the three, he asked them if they had seen a woman named Clementine, and Enri handed him the blades, explaining that she had killed her, Lupusregina agreeing as she had shown up to see the killing blow, having to destroy the body to make sure it didn't return as an undead. The man looked at them a bit suspiciously, but accepted their words and took the blades before leaving.
The three tried to leave, but the guild master wanted to get their ranks raised. Knowing that was one of their main purposes, they follow him to the guild. After getting the details of the fight, they were raised to silver plate, though the caster showed up and explained who the woman they killed was. They were raised to platinum after that, no one in the guild bothered to argue against the adventurers who could go toe to toe with someone in the realm of heroes.
They could finally leave afterwards, heading out a couple hundred meters from the city before using a 'gate' to return to Nazarick.

A week had passed since the Zuranon incident, Enri had been training almost constantly to keep herself from attacking Shalltear and forcing her to make a 'gate' to Nfirea. " Ainz says he's fine, I don't need to worry. Enfi will show up, and it'll all be okay." Her attempts to calm herself didn't work, and she accidentally ripped the bar in half. Once she realized what she did, she placed the two 250 pound weights on the ground. "Maybe I should just rest."
As she grabbed her towel to wipe the sweat off, she received a 'message' from Lupusregina. There was probably more, but all she heard was 'Nfirea' and 'your room' before bolting out of the gym and towards her room.
The door nearly slammed open as Enri entered her room, face red and panting. She immediately sees Nfirea, but goes completely silent.
The boy was alive and well as Ainz said, but something definitely happened. His once baggy shirt was now tight as it contained two round and large breasts. His belly had gotten bigger as well, though she could only tell because she knew how it rested against his waist. Though the most surprising was his legs, they were obviously the most affected, looking to be of similar size to Ninya's. She walked around him, blushing even more as she saw the shelf he now carried in the back.
"U-umm Enri?" He squeaked out, she looked towards the front, and smiled.
Walking towards the door, she closed and locked it before turning back to Nfirea. "Hello~" She watched him blush and hold his hands between his legs. In response she walked over and tossed him onto the bed, already pulling her shirt over her head.

Ainz was panicking a bit, not as much as he felt like he should, but was still panicking. He can't change back, the doppelganger ring seemed to have malfunctioned, and now he's stuck as a human. " Did BukubukuChagama plan this? No, she was never one for pranks like this, especially since it could've gotten me kicked out of Ainz Ooal Gown if it happened in-game." He calmed, but not by much.
A maid entered the office, she was carrying a tray with a cover on it. She placed it in front of Ainz and removed the cover, showing off a couple delicious bacon burgers and a hearty helping of fries. He nods to the maid in appreciation, and she leaves after that. He sighs as he slumps in his chair. "If being human wasn't bad enough, I'm now sure my hunger is much more than a body this size should eat." He takes a bite of one of the burgers, enjoying the taste far more than he'd admit. He pinches his belly after, letting out a small whine. "I'm gonna get fat."
Despite his complaining, he finishes off the burgers and fries with ease. The maid from before returns and takes the platter before leaving again. He begins to continue his work until a 'gate' opens up in his office.
He tenses till he sees Entoma run through with a blonde girl, though a pit forms in his stomach when it closes without Narberal coming through.
Ainz looks past the girl with the creepy eyes and straight to the insectoid maid. "Entoma, where's Narberal, what happened?" He notices how his voice seems to get a bit deeper, but files that off for later.
The maid shakes a bit, tears dripping from her chin. It breaks his heart to see her so upset, though it shatters when he sees her pull out a dress. " No, Downfall of Castle and Country." He accidentally releases his despair aura. "What happened?"
"W-we were attacked, and they tried to use this on me. Narberal saved me, but," she let out a choked sob, shaking even more. The blonde girl went over and gave her a hug, eventually calming Entoma down. Ainz was more than aware of what happened, but let her finish.
"They turned her into a traitor."

Wow I don't know how moods work! I don't really know how to handle it better though. So I hope it's good enough.
Gonna make the intermission chapter before getting into the mess that is the new season finale.
