Chapter 1
I rushed down the stairs my golden hair flying behind me. Throwing my jacket on I only stopped once to check myself ou in the mirror. I struck a pose giggling to myself looking hot if I do say so, I thought to myself. I had removed my ponytail that I normally wore for school. It kept my hair out of my face so I could concentrate on more important things like schoolwork. Or Neutron a small voice whispered in the back of my head. Shut up, I thold it.
My capris gone replaced by a short demin skirt that showed more leg than my parents would have hoped for. And in place of my green striped shirt was a tight green tank top. I was alittle upset by my makeup though. Why did I put too much on? Usually for school or hanging out with Libs I only used some clear lip gloss and alittle eye shawdow. Now my face was covered with blush, lipstick, and even eyeliner. I knew my parents would never approve. But, I did like the way it looked on me. I might just get a guy to notice me tonite after all. Nick won't be able to resists me I thought smiling. Wrong, the little voice was back, no you mean Jimmy! I said shut up, I screamed in my head.
"Cindy where are you going?" my mother asked coming out of the kitchen.
"Uh, just going out for pizza with Libby and the gang!" I yelled back trying to hide my face as I ran for the door.
"Just make sure you are back before tweleve. It is a school nite. And hon..." Was all I heard as I slammed the door behind me.
"God, close one." I said to myself. If my parents had seeen me I would've have been grounded for weeks hell probably til graduation. I half walked half jogged down the street to Lenny's Pizza Palor. It was the new place that had opened up across the street from the Candy Bar.
Thank god for Libby and her Valentine's Day idea, I thought as I turned the corner. The only two in our group that were dating was Libby and Sheen. They could've have easily forgot about the rest of us. But, they didn't. Libby had announced that the gang was going to meet here for pizza and a movie. That way no one would feel lonely on today of all days. I smiled as I reached for the door my best friend I knew I could always trust her...
Well that was the first chapter. I know you probably already figured out that it was Cindy POV but throughout the story it will change to the others POV. And don't worry I know this chapter was way too short but, my next two are going to be alot longer. And I'll give you a hint readers remeber the last sentence in this chapter it comes up agian soon.
