Edward was dressed in a pair of white, cotton boxers with a blue military jacket wrapped around his upper body and was currently lying in his commander officers bed which in itself should have been consider oddly. In fact, he was wearing the said commander officers jacket which he had snatched off a wooden chair because he was cold. However, lately he had grown accustomed to hanging around Colonel Mustang's house, and he didn't even bat an eye at the notion of lying around in his boxers because, he had certainly been wearing less quite recently in the same bed he was now lying in.
The small, blond alchemist had his chin rested on the palm of his hands, a gesture usually meant bored for the young alchemist. However, this wasn't the case, he had a book in front of him, since the young alchemist was trying to catch up on some researching. For the first time in his career as a State Alchemist he was behind on his research. Edward had a strong suspicion that Mustang was the cause of this because, it wasn't till they started to sleep together that Edward had fallen behind in the research. The blond alchemist was almost positive that Mustang had done it on purpose, it seemed like a thing that the Colonel would do for his own personal amusement anyway.
Edward would shift on the bed continuously, mostly due to the fact he couldn't sit or lay down for long periods of time, but also because he was trying to find a comfortable position. Unfortunately, all this movement had caused his blond hair to fall out of the careful braid he had done earlier. Which, much to the blond alchemists annoyance caused his hair to fall in his amber eyes and he would try to blow it away with his mouth, though he wasn't't very successful at the task.
Roy walked into the room from the adjoining bathroom with only the bottom part of himself clothed, drying his hair with a blue towel. The Colonel looked over to the bed seeing that Edward had his jacket wrapped around his body and was trying to blow thick, blond, strands of hair out of his face. " You know it would be easier if you just pulled back your hair and fixed it."
Ed turned to look over at the half naked Colonel and much to the Colonel's amusement, Edward had an indignant expression on his face, the same one the blond wore when he was annoyed. "Don't tell me what to do!"
Roy wasn't surprised by the comment. Edward always used the same statements over and over again. Really, he didn't't know how predictable he was at times.Of course, Roy couldn't mention this because the smaller alchemist would go into another hissy fit which was the last thing he needed. So Roy resisted the urge to roll his eyes, another thing he didn't need to do was start a war. Edward could be so difficult sometimes, for no reason at all. "I can't imagine telling you what to do, Fullmetal."
"You're always trying to get the last word in," Edward retorted.
Roy just stared at the younger alchemist. "Sometimes I wondered if it matters what I say at all."
"What makes you say that?" Edward asked, clearly puzzled, Roy could tell by the way he titled his head slightly to the left.
"It doesn't matter what I say, you will always have your own idea as to what I am saying and, of course, your idea will be right."
Edward blinked and stared before stumbling out a reply, "I do not!"
Roy sighed resisting the urge to roll his dark eyes. "You're doing it now."
Edward looked at him with wide amber eyes, nonplused
