Hello, welcome back for Chapter 4. Hope you enjoyed the last chapter. And as usual I own nothing but my own characters.

Some time before the Battle of Naxzela

Lotor was currently looking at the Inter-reality Gate that he had secretly constructed within the shadow of Daibazzal's debris. And though he didn't show it, he was frustrated and disappointed that after everything he still wasn't able to go into the plane between realities. He felt like he was missing something, but he felt like he didn't. He had made the ships out of trans-reality comet ore, he then used the last of his quintessence on one of them and proceeded to enter the remains of the rift, but instead all he did was go through the front of the gate and exit the back of it.

He then thought about how it was that Voltron was able to enter the rifts, could it be that it had to do with who it was that created Voltron. He is aware that it was King Alfor that created Voltron from the first Trans-reality comet, but maybe there was something else to it. Revelation then led him into remembering that it was not just through the construction of Voltron but through the use of Altean Alchemy that Alfor created Voltron, which by extension would allow Voltron to enter rifts between realities. He then noticed footsteps behind him and turned around to find Acxa standing in front of him and holding a gun at him, something which he realized now was probably a bit more frightening than he had assumed before planning out a situation like this should it happen.

"For Narti.", said Acxa as she stunned him.

The other two generals then ran up to her.

"Did you kill him?"

"I only stunned him. Now help me- "

She didn't finish her sentence for a shadow suddenly showed up and all three generals looked in the direction of it, only to be shocked at the sight of what they were looking at. It was the largest ship that they had ever seen and by some guesses would most likely dwarf Voltron, but what terrified them most was that it was not alone for there was a whole fleet of smaller but still very large ships compared to most Galran cruisers.

They then got out of their stupor and Zethrid grabbed Lotor, while Acxa and Ezor ran for the ships. They hoped that they could get away before they were spotted, only to get caught in a tractor beam after launching their ships a few feet in the air. They then ended up having a closer look at some of the ships, and found them to not be Galra in design. Though Ezor was not exactly comfortable when she noticed that one of the ships bore a symbol on it and that symbol was in the shape of a skull.

Meanwhile in the Bridge of the Reckoning

Primus Tha'naton was being informed that the Tractor beam that they had installed to the flagship, after recovering one that was still intact from one of the cruisers that was not completely turned into space debris, was successfully pulling in the ships that had Lotor and his cohorts in them. Which brought Thalem to ask, "Remind us again. How is it that our empire doesn't utilize such technology?"

"It mostly has to do with the sense that our empire doesn't take prisoners for interrogation or at least not take in prisoners, period.", said Tha'naton, who was starting to wonder the samething.

"Ah…does it also have to do with the fact that- "

"Yes, it also has to do with the fact that the Empire believes that there is no use in taking prisoners of war. Which they should frankly count themselves lucky that I find them to have something that I need. Or at least I need something from one of them."

"And the others?"

"Lock them up."

"…"

"We do have a brig, right?"

Thalem's continued silence was the only answer Tha'naton got.

"*sigh*Just make sure they are placed somewhere that will not lead to them escaping, but make sure to keep them alive. They may be able to prove their worth by the ancient rites."

"Hasn't the Rite of Proving been out of use for…millennia?"

"Only because that fool, Calus, decided to abuse the Arbiter of Proving. Which was actually one of his more favorable decisions. But I frankly think that its time that we start using it once more and this time, I would like for it to include the other members of the empire besides the Cabal."

"An ambitious endeavor, my Primus. Though will you also include the Arbiter as being a part of it?"

"There was a reason that I was given the Hammer of Proving by Ghaul. And this time, it will be done the right way. But for now, I would like for you to escort Lotor to my quarters. I need to prepare for the conversation that will inevitably discussed."

Thalem then gave her respects to her superior, and proceeded to leave and then gathered a large force that would allow for the escort of Lotor to be more "willingly" decided on his part. She then had the doors opened to where the two ships were secured and using her psychic abilities she could feel the minds of the generals, though Lotor's was apparently out cold.

Thalem wasn't exactly one who knew the term of cooperation when it came to prisoners, which makes sense given that what she went through before meeting Tha'naton. Before he rescued her from a plot that involved the illegal use of experimentation with powers that were, unnatural to say the least. So, she simply didn't wait and forced the ships to open, and then grabbed all of the occupants with her mind and brought them out before her.

It was then that she noticed that the numbers were off, for there were supposed to be five of them, when counting Lotor along with his cohorts.

"Where is the other one? The blind one."

"She's dead. Now what do you want with us?", said Acxa

"Tha'naton sees promise with you three, though should you disappoint him, then I won't see any problems with your executions. As for him, the Primus of the Deathbringers wishes to speak with Lotor."

Thalem practically was glad to see that Lotor's generals were now made aware of the situation, they had some terrified expressions. That and the guns that were pointed at them from all sides didn't help either with their situation as it is. After all, Zarkon wants them killed on sight.

Thalem though gave the order to lock Lotor's generals up and then proceeded to have Lotor cuffed in case he was to wake up while they were escorting him to the Primus's quarters, which could potentially lead to him trying to escape. Something which would then lead to him possibly getting harmed, which while she didn't mind that, Primus Tha'naton would be disappointed and she doesn't disappoint Tha'naton.

By the time that Lotor regained consciousness, he found his hands to be cuffed and also found himself to be dragged from his arms by two soldiers, who somewhat looked familiar to Lotor, though he couldn't put his finger on it. Though when he looked to see where they were taking him to, he found himself looking at the backside of one of the tallest creatures he has ever seen. Though he didn't have time to figure out what species he was looking at or if it was the same species as the soldiers that were dragging him by the arms, for they stopped before a door that was being guarded by more regal looking soldiers. Lotor guessed that they must be some sort of Honor Guard or in other words, they were soldiers that had the task of protecting someone important.

Though the fact that they weren't the same soldiers as the ones that were with the tall creature, meant that the person in front of him was not the one in charge or was most likely a high-ranking member that was subservient to the leader. The creature then ordered for the door to be opened in a tongue that was not familiar to him though it sounded like a mix of grunting and being moronic in tone. The guards then opened the door and gave their salutes to the commander, which then lead it to take Lotor into the room itself. Though it did notice that he was awake.

"We wondered when you would awaken, exiled prince?"

The sound of the voice made Lotor know that the commander in front of him was female, though she said we.

'Why did she say we, was she talking about the other soldiers or did she refer to something else? Was the one in charge aware that I was unconscious? But if that was the case, then how would it know that he was awake?', said Lotor, who was quite confused by the situation at hand.

For he has no idea who these people are nor does he know whether they could cause problems for his future plans. But at the moment, he noticed that once inside the room, he saw that someone was giving orders to someone else through the use of a screen, but then when that person noticed that his company had arrived, he dropped the conversation and spoke once more before turning the screen off. Lotor was then put in a seat across a table that was in the room by the tall creature, who then gave her respects to her superior and left the room.

Lotor then got a better look at the person who he believed was in charge. He was quite tall, most likely taller than most Galra, though not exactly taller than Zarkon. In fact, if they were standing next to each other, then you would most likely think that they were the same height. Though Lotor noticed that there were two twin skulls placed on the shoulder pads of the individual in question, but it wasn't exactly something that Lotor was terrified of even if the man had his helmet marked with a skull-like design. It was then that he began to walk closer that the superior spoke.

"So, you are the infamous Prince Lotor?", said the unknown superior.

"Yes, is there something wrong?"

"I thought you'd be taller."

Lotor could tell that the individual didn't think to highly of him, but he might as well play along for now, but first he needed to know who he was speaking with.

"Hopefully, I haven't completely disappointed you. Though I don't recall catching your name."

"How rude of me? Though I thought that Thalem would've told you."

"I was unconscious until some moments ago. Did this Thalem not tell you about it?"

"No, no she did not. Why do you ask?"

"Well, she said we and I had assumed that you were also aware of it."

"Ah, yes. Well, she isn't exactly normal like the other Psions in our Empire. Cause for one, she is aware that there are three minds inside of her own mind."

Lotor found that to be interesting, though he wondered if he could ask more about it.

"Anyway, I should introduce myself to my guest then. I am Tha'naton, Primus of the Deathbringers, the Black Legion of the Cabal Empire.", said the now named Tha'naton.

"Cabal Empire? I think I have heard of that before. Isn't your Empire currently at war with the Krein System?"

"No, we have apparently lost the Red War. Though I have only been notified of this not that long before we came to your people's former homeworld. But in a sense, yes, you could say that my people are at war with the Last City."

"What are you doing all the way out here?"

"Do you recall that your father made a non-aggression treaty with the Cabal Empire?"

"I believe I do, why do you ask?"

"Nothing important, I was wondering if you were there when it happened. But to answer your question, I am here to see about dealing with a few issues that your empire is facing at the moment."

Lotor wasn't sure that Tha'naton was telling the truth, though he probably wasn't telling the truth at all.

"Am I one of those issues?"

"No, I care not about your father's personal issues."

"He is not my father!"

Tha'naton then started to remove his helmet and put it on the table.

"I guess we both have some things in common after all."

"What do you mean?"

"We both despise our fathers, but at least I no longer have to deal with his antics anymore."

"Who was your father?", said Lotor, who wondered about Tha'naton the more he talked with him.

"I don't know his name, but I do remember what he did and who he is."

"And what did he do?"

"How much do you know about Cabal culture?"

"I don't think that it is something that the Galra are taught to know, though they are only taught about Galra and at times can learn a few things about Guardian Culture."

Tha'naton had a look in his eyes that indicated something when he heard the word Guardian, though it went away once he started speaking.

"My people are somewhat similar to yours in a way, though while at some point when Zarkon made friends your people were more focused on exploration than conquest. Which at the moment is a staple in the Cabal Empire, but unlike your people who still raise your children no matter the circumstance, it is by tradition that the runts be cast out into the wilderness to die."

"And that applies to your father why?"

"My mother defied this tradition because of my circumstance, and for that my father disowned me and cast us both to the streets. So, imagine my surprise when I found out he raised a runt to adulthood. But it was all for the sake of revenge."

"At least you still have your mother."

"No, no I don't. She passed away not long after I returned to my homeworld. She was consumed by sickness and disease."

"I am sorry for your loss."

"Funny, I was going to say that about your own lost general."

"Narti was compromised, and so had to be put down in order for us to survive."

Tha'naton didn't think that was the real reason that Lotor killed her, but he didn't seek to prod into it any further. For he had more important things to discuss.

"Tell me, is the reason you came here, to a dead world, is because of your mother's research into Quintessence?"

"How do you know about that?", said a surprised Lotor.

"My technicians have been going through everything that involves your people, your empire, and every event that has occurred or at least the ones that your people know about."

"I see. But what does that have to do with me?"

"Well, I frankly wish to discuss through theory craft. You see, Dominus Ghaul and I…well, he had somewhat of an obsession with the Traveler and the Light. Then of course, we ended up studying it. And by we, I mean that I would help him in any way I can."

"You must respect this Dominus Ghaul to do everything you can to aid him."

"My respect for him is as grand as the very sun of Torobatl. But even then, I do so more out of what he did millennia ago."

"And that would be?", said a curious Lotor.

Tha'naton didn't know whether he should tell Lotor more about himself, but it wouldn't hurt to do so.

"Ghaul saved me. I was only a Bracus in the Red Legion, but he saved me. After that I swore that my Life was as he saw fit. So, he told me to rise through the ranks, 'Prove that you are worthy to serve me.'. Those were the exact words, that he told me. And I have done so, ever since. In fact, I had so much renown throughout the Empire that I would've been promoted to Primus had there been any Legions available for me to lead. I was only promoted 6 years ago, after we took the Last City from those Guardians and stole their Light."

"Wait, your people found a way to steal their Quintessence.", Lotor was starting to find this to be interesting, not to mention that it would also be good to know how to extract the Quintessence of a Guardian.

Lotor though did not expect what came next.

"Hahahahaha, do you still think that those Guardians produce your precious Quintessence? Good one."

Lotor's expression indicated that he was not joking.

"Your serious. Doesn't your Empire currently have a Guardian in its custody? Or is that you Galra are too afraid to experiment on that Guardian."

"Wait, there is a Guardian that is a prisoner in the Galra Empire. How is that possible? I don't remember that the agreement with the Krein System would allow us to do that."

"He's the exception, though I guess you never learned about that seeing as he was imprisoned some time after your exile, Lotor."

"What did this Guardian exactly do to warrant his arrest and custody within the Galra Empire?"

"He broke your Empire's rules, and tried to free a planet all by himself or something like that. Which to be honest he was three quarters done until the Galra just sent everything they had to pin him down."

"Is that all?"

"Yes, and when Zarkon informed the Last City about it, they told him that because he broke your laws then he would serve his sentence in Galra custody to make up for the incident."

"Did the Speaker agree to this?"

"Apparently, he didn't but the majority of the factions in the Consensus were all in for the decision. So, to make sure that the Last City didn't get divided by it, he allowed for it to happen, on the condition that he would be treated fairly."

Tha'naton then brought the conversation back to the original topic.

"As for your theory in Quintessence, I am afraid that you and your Empire have been deceived into believing that Guardians can produce and weaponize Quintessence."

"How so, our devices have made scans of Guardians and it matches the same frequency as Quintessence."

"But did you ever check to see if their Light shared the same frequency, like for instance, did you ever scan their Ghosts or a sphere made of Light."

"No, no we didn't, but why does that matter."

"The Traveler does not produce Quintessence, but it does produce a great quantity of Light, but whether it is the source of it is a mystery still. But anyway, the Ghosts are but an extension of the Traveler and if so."

"Then their power doesn't come from the Traveler directly, but through their Ghosts.", said Lotor, who began to have a revelation on the Guardians, "And if the Ghosts are what give the Guardians the ability to harness the Light."

"Then they don't produce weaponized Quintessence.", said Tha'naton, who finished Lotor's thought.

"How did you figure this out?"

"Ghaul and I didn't figure it out. Or at least not directly, that honor belongs to the Vex."

"The robots that have been causing trouble in the Krein system."

"Yes, some thousands of years ago, we were able to obtain some Vex technology. And some centuries ago, we obtained a shipment of your Quintessence, or at least we salvaged it, it appears that something had torn through the ship that was carrying it. Which then led into experimenting with it, but once we were given data on the Vex and how they have difficulty simulating Light, Ghaul had decided to use the Vex Technology that we already had to see if it could simulate the Quintessence. For it was definitely a powerful energy source, but we needed to make sure it was the right kind of energy. The results of the experiment with Vex Technology were disappointing to be honest."

"Did the experiment fail?"

"If it failed then it wouldn't have been a disappointment. Instead, the Vex technology simulated a perfect match. Which, when I was helping Ghaul, led to me theorizing that there could some sort of relation to the Quintessence and the Vex. And the results were interesting to see."

"What were the results?"

"The results of such a theory, were that the Vex were not powered by Quintessence, but they were capable of utilizing it. In fact, I had made another Theory, that the Vex are not only capable of moving from past to present to future, but are capable of traveling through realities."

That last part made Lotor's head explode figuratively, how is it that the Vex are capable of traveling through realities, could it be that this is not their home reality. Or is there something else to it, for the Guardians have also been having difficulty in figuring out what the Vex are and what their motivations entail for the universe. Though there were other things that made Lotor question this.

"How is it then that Guardians give off a large sum of Quintessence when they are using the Light?"

"That is where my theory comes from. You see there are many different types of creatures that live in the universe, some of these creatures don't have long lifespans or, as is the case of my people, there are those that can live for thousands of years. So, I surmised that Quintessence is not Life itself, but it is the Life force of an individual. In other words, to extract Quintessence from a living being is to accelerate the time of their passing. Not to mention, not all Guardians actually give of a reading of Quintessence, in fact, those machine Guardians are not capable of possessing Quintessence. For they are not truly alive in the same sense that we are."

"Alright, but how was it that your empire was able to take away their powers? The Galra wouldn't dream of taking on Guardians, especially on the battlefield."

"Ghaul simply repurposed the Balmeran cages that we use to acquire Balmera and then by extension have a constant supply of Balmeran crystals, until of course they live out their lifespan. In fact, we were able to capture the Krein system's Balmera, though it was apparently going to be transported to Torobatl's system. That is until the Guardians were able to free their Balmera."

"Guardians are quite brave, though I guess your empire is brave for challenging them."

Tha'naton looked at Lotor inquisitively and then went to the wall, where a keyboard was placed on it. Tha'naton then pressed a series of letters and numbers, which lead to the wall opening up to reveal what Lotor believed to be Tha'naton places his trophies. Tha'naton then grabbed one of them and threw it on the table, where it landed in front of Lotor.

Once Lotor noticed what it was, he paled. For it was the severed head of one of the Exo Guardians, though to be more specific it was an Exo Guardian that Lotor was familiar with. It was one of the Crimson Titan's friends.

"They are not brave, Lotor.", said Tha'naton, who caught Lotor's attention, "Neither are they invincible. They have merely forgotten the fear of death."

"Where…. how did you get this?", said Lotor, who was now understanding who is speaking with.

"It was a foolish Guardian that thought it was a good idea to both insult us and notify us of his location. Once we caught up to him, I ordered my men to allow me to show him who is meddling with. So, my Phalanx's made an arena out of their shields, and I gave my hammer to Thalem. The guardian thought it would be a knife fight, which is not something I am accustomed towards. So, I used my wrist blade and pointed it at the Guardian, and fired the grenade at him. He was so surprised that he didn't react in time to dodge it. The grenade was lodged deep into his chest and exploded, but not after he said 'Well played, space turtle.' I then heard a scream and ordered my forces to find the source of it. Though I was then notified by one of my Legionnaires that Ghaul wished to speak to me. So, I grabbed the head that had been blown off of the body, and went to speak to Ghaul. It was after that, where I was promoted to Primus and given command of the newly formed Deathbringers."

Lotor didn't want to think about who it was that probably made that scream, but it probably was one of the exo's teammates or maybe it was one of their kids. But whoever it was Lotor wasn't able to think about it for alarms started to sound, and Tha'naton's guards entered the room.

"What is the meaning of this?!", said Tha'naton, who was currently wondering what was going on.

"The prisoners have escaped their holding area, Primus Tha'naton.", said one of the guards.

While Tha'naton was having an argument with his guards, Lotor saw an opportunity to escape. And so looked to see if there was a way for him to get out of the room, he noticed a vent and quickly went to it. He forced it opened which caught the attention of Tha'naton and his guards, but by the time they reached him, he had already gotten down the vent.

"I want all forces to find Lotor and his cohorts."

"But sir, that could possibly allow them to get into the hangar where their ships are and esca- "

"Do what I said soldier! I want Lotor and his cohorts brought to me on their knees and alive! If they think that they will escape me again, then I will make an example out of one them! Unless I should do so to one of you!"

The guards knew not to question their superior any further, and notified the everyone to look for Lotor and his generals.

Once out of the vents, Lotor then dislocated his arms to get out of the cuffs that were keeping his hands chained. He then relodged them, and luckily for him he saw only two guards at a large door. He then noticed that one of them was being notified through the comms.

"Primus Tha'naton wants us to look for the escaped prisoners.", said one of them after getting the message.

"But shouldn't we remain here to guard their ships?", said the other one.

"Do you want to tell Primus Tha'naton that?"

"Good point."

The guards then proceeded to leave their posts, which gave Lotor the opportunity to get to his ship and leave. Though once he got in, he noticed that the ships were kept in place by what looks to be some sort of machines that had them locked down. Lotor then went to the control panel and proceeded to work on getting his ship free, but once he did that the security that was placed in there activated.

Lotor was looking at a lot of automatic turrets, five to be exact, and they were pointing their guns at him. He then summoned his sword and dashed as quickly as he could with the Scorpius Turrets unleashing everything, they have on him. He then started to cut them down one after the other until all of them were nothing more than scrap metal. He then got into his ship and left The Reckoning as quickly as he could.

Tha'naton was currently walking down the hallway alone, for he told his guards that he doesn't need an escort. He was carrying the Hammer of Proving, and sought to find Lotor and his cohorts, though he suspects that his cohorts broke out to escape without Lotor, or maybe they sought to break out and then get Lotor only to hand him over to Zarkon in order to have a pardon from being affiliated with Lotor. Either way, Tha'naton was not exactly happy…even if everything was going according to plan.

Though when he made a right turn, he ran right into one of Lotor's generals, in fact he just came upon all three of them.

"Well now, isn't today my lucky day.", he said as one of them, most likely the strong one, tried to punch him only to have their fist caught in the hand of Tha'naton.

"You think yourself to be strong.", Tha'naton said as he headbutted Zethrid, which was then followed by a knee into the gut, which considering how big Tha'naton was, he practically launched Zethrid down the hallway.

The one that was most likely the one that can cloak herself then tried to kick him on the side of the head, which didn't budge him. Which then caused Ezor to smile nervously as Tha'naton glared at her. Where he then grabbed the long hairlike thing at the back of the head and started to slam her on the ground left and right and then doing so on the walls.

Then the one who he assumed to be Acxa was firing her gun at him only for his shields to hold up against her weapon.

"You really think that weapon your holding can stop me, if it were a weapon using void then maybe, but your kind still haven't been able to figure out how to harness such energies.", said Tha'naton in a mocking tone, though he secretly turned his shield off.

Acxa then saw that there wasn't much of a point and so surrendered, though once Tha'naton got closer she held her gun right in the direction of his face and…was then hit by Tha'naton's hammer. She was still conscious though she was apparently showing some blood coming from her mouth. She then expected Tha'naton to finish it, only to not get killed.

"I know what it's like to be rejected by society because of the way you were born. But I can't let you go, unless of course, we make a deal.", said Tha'naton as he pointed his Hammer at a confused Acxa, "In exchange for sparing your lives and allowing you to escape, you, Acxa, will notify me on Lotor's plans. As well as the status of Voltron, along with anything else that I should be notified about."

Acxa gave him a look that indicated that she would need a reason to betray Lotor, which was most likely what Tha'naton assumed, considering her background.

"Come now, do you really think that Lotor is who he says he is. He is a manipulator, a coward. A boy who fantasizes himself to be a hero that can do no wrong, but I guess you won't believe me, or at least you won't believe me for the moment. Mark my words, when I call you, you will have seen Lotor for what he is. For he is only wishing to do what I was sent here for, to eliminate the Galra Empire and scatter them to the winds. Or I guess in his case, he wishes to destroy them all, including you."

Acxa still didn't look convinced, so Tha'naton left her there and began to walk down the hallway. Only to get shot in the backside, which after a few minutes Zethrid and Ezor woke up from their beating and along with Acxa escaped The Reckoning. Tha'naton was found by Thalem and was brought medical aid. After that he was back on the bridge sitting on his throne and being told of what happened by Thalem.

"Both Lotor and his cohorts have escaped, though apparently they appear to be no longer working together. For they escaped at different times.", said Thalem who felt ashamed for herself not being there to protect Tha'naton.

"What of the status of Valus Rolk?", said Tha'naton.

Thalem looked a bit confused at Tha'naton, but did what she was told, "Valus Rolk reports that one of his ships were infiltrated by a rebel group which we have identified as the Blade of Marmoa. He is currently hunting down those that were able to escape with a large batch of data on our Legion, but nothing to important to warrant worry, besides of course the list of those who are leading the Black Legion."

"That is worrisome, but I can see that we should've been prepared for such a case.", said Tha'naton who began to ponder their next move.

"Excuse us, Primus Tha'naton, but are you not worried about Lotor or his cohorts. And from what you've reported you didn't obtain anything but just confirmation about your own theories. You could've been killed in their escape attempt, and- "

Tha'naton then pressed a few buttons to reveal blueprints and schematics.

"Wh…What is this?", said Thalem who was now even more confused.

"The information that I sought to obtain from Lotor's ships."

"You didn't want information from Lotor.", whispered Thalem who realized that Tha'naton wasn't looking for information through Lotor himself, but through his ships.

"I needed Lotor and his generals distracted while our technicians' extracted data from Lotor's ships. He apparently had a lot more in his personal vessel, but the other one had just as much data that can be counted as important. Once I had what I needed, I allowed Lotor and his generals to escape."

"Why was I not notified of this?"

"If I told you then you would've sought to prevent me from giving Lotor the impression that I am merely a brute and nothing more. Not to mention, you wouldn't have allowed the generals to escape after one of them shot me. I know how you feel indebted to me, much like how I felt indebted to Ghaul. But I will give you the chance to repay me, when the time is right, Thalem."

"Does anyone else know of this?"

"No, not everyone. Only those of my guards and higher ranked members know of my plan."

"Which entails what besides making us look like…fools?", said Thalem who was now starting to notice something, "You knew that Lotor would escape even if you didn't do anything."

"Tell me Thalem, why do you suppose that we were able to so easily take the Last City from the Guardians.", said Tha'naton, who was showing a smile.

"They didn't believe us to be a threat that would have them prepare their defenses before we arrived."

"Exactly, Lotor most likely seeks to become Emperor of the Galra Empire. He'll manipulate his enemies into handing him everything right to him, but he won't seek to eliminate us for he will believe that we are not as threatening as he first believed us to be, but once he gets his precious Quintessence, he will then have his empire focused on us. But by that time, we will already have our new weapon or the Paladins of Voltron will take out Lotor for us, and by extension will lead the Empire into spiraling into chaos where it will fracture from the inside out. In other words, our task will be done much more quickly if we just sit back, relax, and watch as our enemies destroy one another. Let them have their positions of power, their Quintessence, their empire, their coalition, their Voltron. For in the end, they will have exhausted their resources to the point where we will strike the final blow and our goal will be accomplished."

"A bold strategy, my Primus. Though what do you mean by new weapon?"

"By the looks of these blueprints, Lotor sought to make his own Voltron. But now, we have them."

"You wish to create our own Voltron.", said Thalem, understanding now what she was looking at.

"In the hands of fools, Voltron is but a mere blade with a dull edge. But in the hands of someone who knows the potential of it. Then you have the most powerful weapon in the universe at your disposal.", said Tha'naton, who then got up and walked forward a bit, "But I am not going to call it Voltron. I believe that it should be given a name which will strike fear in the hearts of our enemies and boost morale for our forces. I believe I should call it…. Acrius."

So, that was something now wasn't it. I will see about getting the next chapter out soon after this, though I have a feeling that I will need to work on this one again sometime in the future. But eh, I had fun writing it. Also, I will be honest, I am not sure if I did the fight scene right, but I am not experienced enough in writing those.

Anyway, I wonder what you guys think of this chapter, so leave a review if you are able to, and well, I wonder who you think it was that Tha'naton killed, just to be clear it wasn't Cayde-6. Just make some guesses and maybe at some point it will be revealed who it was that Tha'naton killed back during the beginning days of the Red War.

Also, when I get the next chapter out, I will be taking a break for a little bit to get some other projects done that I need to get back on. So, I will be seeing then.
