At the car:
(Duncan & Gwen are seen in the car together. With Duncan driving it, & Gwen sitting in the front, looking at the window.)
"Hey Duncan. When did you get your drivers license?" Gwen asked
"Last year in the summer." Duncan replied
"How many attempts did it take?" Gwen asked
"Like 20 attempts." Duncan said
"20? Why did you keep that failing many attempts?" Gwen asked awkwardly
"I kept on crashing through some buildings.." Duncan sighed sheepishly
"Hmm. I guess you're still a bad boy, aren't you?" Gwen asked
"Still am. And I always will be." Duncan said
(Long pause.)
"Have you apologized to Courtney yet?" Duncan asked
"No.." Gwen sighed "I tried whenever I see her, & she ignores me every single time!" She explained
Duncan begins to comfort her, & says "Don't worry, Pasty. I'm pretty sure you'll have a chance to be friends her again soon." He said
"I hope so.." Gwen sighed sadly
15 minutes later..
(Duncan & Gwen finally made it to the school, as Duncan parks his car to the parking lot.)
"We're here!" Duncan said
"That went pretty fast.." Gwen said But you know what surprised me, Duncan?" She asked
"What?" Duncan asked
"That Courtney is not in this school." Gwen said
"Yeah. She's been in a different high school for years now." Duncan said
"Ok, I do understand that." Gwen said
Duncan gets out of his car, raises his hand to Gwen, & says "Ready for our dance, Pasty?" He asked
"You bet." Gwen giggled
"Ok, good." Duncan said
(Then Gwen gets out of the car, holds his hand, then his arm, as they both get ready to go inside to the school, to begin their junior prom.)
