Darcy's POV
I wake up into Kelly's arms, I've missed being able to wake up next to him, I've missed him.
It's nice to be home. He's my home, always has been.
I try to get up and head to the shower, but I hear Kelly stirring from beside me and I roll over, I look into his beautiful blue eyes, man I hope our child has his eyes.
"Good morning, gorgeous," Kelly says, brushing a piece of my hair out of my face.
"Good morning handsome, have a good night's sleep?" I say and ask, as he kisses me gently.
"I did, best I've had in a long time. What about you, beautiful?" He asks
"That's good, and same here, I've always slept better in your arms," I tell him as he wraps his arms around me.
"I love you, you know?" He tells me, making me chuckle lightly.
"I know I love you too Kelly," I say kissing him again.
"I don't know how I got so lucky to have you in my life," Kelly says, looking into my eyes.
"I feel the same, Kel." I tell him, then I remember something then add "I called MED yesterday and they booked me an appointment for today at 10 am with Dr. Manning, do you wanna go with me? We can find out the gender if you want?"
"Of course I wanna go, baby, it's 8:30 now so we better hurry." He tells me and I smile at him, I am truly lucky to have him.
We shower and start to eat breakfast when Shay comes into the kitchen area.
"Hey what are you two up to today?" She asks
"We are going to MED to find out how the baby is and the gender," I tell Shay, and both Kelly and I chuckle at the squeal Shay lets out.
"Can I plan the party?" She asked.
I and Kelly chuckled.
"We only want something small and not big. Just 51 and their wives and our dads," I say.
"I can work with that, just at Molly's though?" she asked me
I looked at Kelly and he nodded.
"Yea, Molly's will work," Kelly told her.
"So, I better get to shift and leave you two alone so you can go to med," Shay said
Shay left us both alone and Kelly pulled his jacket on.
"It's 8:45 now, and traffic is hell at this time, so we better get to med. Did Manning say you have to be there early?" He asked me
"She said something about me having to be there 15-20 minutes early so I can fill out some paperwork," I answered.
"I need to get gas in the mustang before we get there because I forgot to get gas last night because I came straight home," he said
"Okay, then we better get going," I say
We walked out after we put our plates in the sink, Kelly holding the door for me on the way out.
He held my hand the entire drive over to Med, and even when we walked in Med.
I checked myself in and the nurse handed me paperwork that I had to fill out.
Kelly watched me fill out the paperwork and was bouncing his leg as if he was nervous and I knew he wasn't.
I handed my paperwork in and waited.
I look over to where Kelly is still bouncing his knee "are you nervous?" I ask
"A little." Kelly then adds "I'm scared that the same thing will happen again if I'm honest." He tells me and I know how he feels, I feel the same way.
"I know what you mean, I feel the same way, but I'm farther along in this pregnancy than I was with the last one, so that's gotta be good, right?" I state.
He nods then says "I know you're right. I just want you and the baby to be happy and healthy." We kiss just as Dr. Manning comes out to get us.
"Hi, Darcy It's nice seeing you again. Kelly, I didn't realize you two were still together?" Manning says as we get to the exam room.
"Yea we've been together 8 years now," Kelly says as I get up onto the exam table.
"Oh wow, I had no idea. So from what your doctor from New York sent over is your 18 weeks pregnant and everything has looked good so far, so let's take a peek shall we?" Manning asks and I nod.
"Well, let's get a look at the little one and get the heartbeat," Manning said, as I laid back on the table.
Kelly held my hand the whole time, Manning squirted the cold gel onto my growing belly and ran the wand over my belly.
"Well, you two. I see 2 heartbeats," Manning says, which shocked both me and Kelly.
"2?" I said.
"Yep, and do you want me to tell you the genders or not?" she asked us.
I looked at Kelly, and he said, "Let's just get Twin B's, and announce Twin A's to everyone,"
She messed around with a few buttons on the monitor and said, "Twin B is a little girl, and I already have Twin A's gender written down,"
Once she was done, she printed off a few copies, not one of them saying "Twin A or Twin B" since we were keeping Twin B a secret.
She handed Kelly the copies, as she wiped the gel off my stomach.
I hopped off the exam table and grabbed onto Kelly's hand.
We said our goodbyes to Dr. Manning, as she handed me the gender for Twin A, with just the gender, nothing else.
As we walked to that mustang I saw Kelly was in shock but I saw that he was happy. "A little girl, and twins." I heard him mutter. "Yea, how are you feeling about this? Twins and one little girl." I said.
"I'm thrilled, nervous, and shocked all at the same time." He tells me with a big smile.
"I feel the same, I'm so happy that they're healthy though," I say as I run a hand over my belly, as we get into the mustang.
"Me too. We will have to get a bigger vehicle now though." He says as he starts up his mustang.
"That we will but I don't want you to get rid of your car, because I know how much it means to you," I say
"I appreciate that, so we will keep the car and get an SUV or van or something?" He asks
"Yes, I think that's a perfect idea," I tell him as we reach the condo that's his and shays.
"We need a bigger place now too," I say as we walk up to the building hand in hand.
"Yes that we do, hopefully, Shay can find some roommates to help pay for this place," Kelly says as he opens the door.
Shay's in the kitchen when we come home she jumps on us as soon as we are in the door.
"Did you get the gender? How did it go? Is the baby doing ok?" Shay asks
We chuckle at her antics as I hand her the piece of paper with twin A's gender on it.
"The baby is healthy, here's Its gender, everything is fine, Shay!" I tell my best friend as she takes the paper and hugs me then Kelly and says "good I'm glad you guys deserve nothing but happiness!" She tells us as she goes and grabs her jacket
"Thanks, Shay, we appreciate that," Kelly tells her as she starts to head out.
"No problem! Be at Molly's at 8 pm, I love you both, see you guys tonight!" She says as she heads out.
"I'm glad we have her, she's a great friend and she's going to be an amazing aunt to our kids," Kelly says with a hand on my belly.
"I couldn't agree more," I say, kissing him tenderly.

We spend the rest of the afternoon looking for houses on my computer before we realize it's time for us to order dinner.
"What do you feel like tonight, beautiful?" Kelly asks as he lays take out menus in front of me
"Chinese." I simple say picking up a Chinese take-out menu and writing down what I want, then I hand it to him.
"Ok, gorgeous, Chinese it is." He says and then orders the food.
After he orders the food he comes back over and sits next to me, taking my hand again.

Kellys POV
I sit next to Darcy, and take her hand in mine, I kiss her knuckles, then look into her beautiful green eyes. Man, I hope our kids have her eyes, I hope our little girl looks just like her mommy.
"I love you and our babies, so much. I just want you to know that." I told her.
"I know baby, I feel the same way," Darcy says.
Just then there's a knock on the door. I go and grab our food, we eat and talk.
"So tomorrow is shift but the day after in the morning we can go look at a few houses If you want to?" I tell her.
"Okay that's fine, I'd love to go look at houses. I'm glad I start working in the bullpen tomorrow." Darcy says.
"I can't wait to look at houses with you, and I'm glad you're happy about working in the bullpen. How are you doing without being in the action right now?"
"I'm okay, do I miss it? Absolutely, but I know it's what's best for the babies right now, but the sooner I can be back on that squad truck the happier I'll be." She says as she eats a chicken ball.
"I can understand that, I don't know what I'd do if I was in your position. You're one strong woman, and I admire you for being away from what you live for this long. I want you to know that after the babies are born I'll take some leave to help out and then hopefully we can both go back together." I tell Darcy.
"Thanks, Kelly, I appreciate that. I'm happy that you want to take leave after the babies are born but you don't have to if you don't want to." Darcy says and I know she's just saying that because she thinks I'm doing it out of obligation but I'm not.
"I'm not offering out of obligation darce, I want to be home with you and our baby's, for a while just us. I hope that's ok." I tell her as I look into her eyes.
"Okay, I appreciate that, that you Kel," Darcy says kissing me.
"No problem, we should probably get going to this party now though," I say and she nods.
We grab our jackets since it's November and it's starting to get cold. Thanksgiving is next week, we work, unfortunately, but all the families will be gathering at 51 like they always do for holidays that we work.
We head out to the mustang, and head to Molly's, I know I won't be drinking much if any at all so I can drive.
We arrive at Molly's and I take Darcy's hand as we get out and start to walk into the bar.
We open the door to see our 51 family's and our dads and Darcy's sister Carly there.
Darcy's mom died when we were in high school from breast cancer.
So it's just been her and her dad and younger sister Carly, and their older brother Luke. Luke is in the army though and is stationed away right now so he couldn't be at the party.
"Wow, this is amazing," Darcy says as she takes in all the decorations and all the gifts that everyone got on short notice.
"I'm glad you like it!" Shay says coming over and hugging us both.
"It's perfect, shay." Darcy and I both say in unison.
Our dads come over and hug us then Rick says "I'm glad everything worked out for the best for you guys. And for this grandbaby of mine."
"Me too, thanks for talking sense into me dad, I appreciate it." Darcy tells her father
"I'm glad you're both happy, congratulations Kelly and Darcy." Benny says as he hugs darce then me.
"Me too, and thanks dad appreciate it." I say.
We talk to everyone and end up at a table with Matt and Sylvie and Joe and chloe, when Shay comes over and says "it's time to reveal what baby severide is going to be."
"Okay let's do this!" Darcy and I say in unison.
"Okay so we got this balloon and when you pop it it will have the gender of baby severide in it." Shay explains as casey hands us a black balloon.
"Seems easy enough." I say making everyone laugh.
"Okay on my count everyone."
Shay says
"THREE"
"TWO"
"ONE"
"ITS A GIRL."
Everyone cheers and claps for us as I spin Darcy around.
"Twin girls." I whisper to Darcy who nods and kisses me passionately.
"Thank you everyone!" Darcy and I both say as everyone calms down.
"We appreciate you all celebrating with us." I tell everyone.
"Ehh, it's no problem, that's what family's for." Herman says, clapping me on the back.
"Thanks though, we really appreciate it." Darcy says.

We open all the gifts and then head home.
We fall alseep pretty fast as we where both exhausted from the days events.
