"Hey Giza, how's it going." Yazid spoke, actively trying to figure out what to do next.

The other Jackals surrounded the small group, watching their every move. "Big mistake coming to save the princess."

"It's more of an obligation. But what's with the giant rock?" Yazid retorted.

"None of your business!" Giza turned towards his soldiers. "Kill them!"

The jackals leapt at the four cubs. They quickly jumped out of the way made a break for the exit. However Giza quickly reacted and knocked Yazid to the wall. "GO, I'LL CATCH UP!" Yazid shouted.

His teammates nodded and made a break for the exit, with the other Jackals following close by. "After all this time, I can finally get rid of you!" Giza said as he unsheathed his claws.

Yazid looked up and smirked at Giza. "I'm not going down that easily."

"How so?"

Yazid begad to stand up. "We're getting those artifacts and undoing the damage you assholes did! Whether it's me or without me, my team will finish what I started. Do you understand?"

"Do you really think that just three lions could stop us?" Giza laughed.

"The last three got rid of the last remaining elementals on your side, we're just here to fix the damage!" Yazid jumped at Giza and slashed across his face. Giza cried out on pain as he tried to clear the blood from his left eye.

Yazid made a break for the cave exit. Once he got out he saw a few jackals waiting for him. He chuckled to himself, slightly amused. "So this is how it's gonna be huh."

Yazid walked through the Jackals, despite being outnumbered, he relied on his agility to take care of his opponents. Once he was able to get far enough, he made a run for it, with some of the other Jackals in pursuit.

Yazid looked behind him and noticed his opponents running after him. He made his way to a large gore, with a massive river at the bottom. He checked to see if his pursuers were still after him. And of course, the Jackals were ready to tear him apart.

He looked down at the river below and smirked. And jumped down to the river below. The jackals looked over the edge and saw the lion plunge into the river. None of them were willing to follow, so they just began to make their way back to their territory.

Yazid emerged from the surface, taking in a deep breath of air. He swam to the shore and collapsed from exhaustion. He looked to see that he was on the boarder of the Pridelands, so he stood up and shook off the cold water off his fur.

He saw that the sun was beginning to set so he walked to where his territory was located. Yazid enjoyed the peace and quiet, sure he enjoyed the company of his friends, however just some time to think to himself felt nice. However he was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard someone talking. He turned and saw Ayanna being reunited with her parents, he assumed that his teammates dropped her off at the Pridelands on their way home. He somewhat envied the affection that she got from her parents.

"MOM!" Yazid shouted. "Are when will be at the Pridelands."

His mother chuckled. "Soon honey. But we need to rest!"

"I'm not tired!"

"Not yet, but you will need your strength, because we are making a stop at my old pride before we go to the Pridelands." His father responded.

Yazid slouched a bit. "Fiiiiine, but can we make it quick?"

"Sure son."

"YAZID!" Yazid snapped out of his thoughts and turned around and saw his teammates approach him.

"We were looking all over for you!" Barack said.

"Yeah, I had to take a detour." Yazid responded.

"So what do we do now?" Jabari asked.

The three began to make their way back to their territory.

"I'm not sure. But that rock, it's color it...it looks like the light that...that took them."

"So that's what we need to use the artifacts." Barack added on.

Yazid nodded. "Exactly. Though after the stunt we pulled, Giza would probably up his security."

"So that just means we need to find a way to get rid of him and his crew once we collect all the artifacts." Jabari responded.

"Exactly." Yazid responded. "But at least we have our marks now." He said as he looked on his shoulder to see the Mark of the Phantom.

"Where were you?" King Sadeeki asked.

"I went to follow the Jackals, but I, after that I don't remember. I just remember being ambushed and then waking up back home."

"What were you thinking? Leaving the Pridelands and entering enemy territory! Something bad could have happened."

"I know dad. But, there has to be some way to stop them from entering the Pridelands. They have caused as much problems as there is, but with those thieves, making sure the Pridelands are safe is going to be a challenge. At least we can take care of one problem."

"I understand. But next time, at least take Zuberi and Zahour with you. Alright."

"Fiiine." The princess whined.

The two began to make their way back to Pride Rock. By now the sun was set and the stars were out. "So, how was Omari?"

"He's a jerk!" Ayanna answered without hesitation. "Why can't I pick who I want to be with?"

"Ayanna, Betrothals are somewhat a type of a peace treaty between kingdoms. Tensions between us and the southern Pride could be solved if you and Omari were to be betrothed." The king explained.

"I know but does it have to be him?" She asked.

"I felt the same way about your mother, don't worry you will warm up to him."

"I doubt it."
