Sarah woke up tired from the night before woke up in her room snuggled in bed. She couldn't believe it, she had told him. She told him how she felt. She loved him. Sarah got up and changed into her lovely gown. She walked to James's room and knocked and he told her to come in, he briefly brushed his lips against her cheek. She smiled at him and said "Good morning James". " Good morning" he replied. Everything was almost perfect. She was happy, but what would Anna Jane think? Anna Jane, her best friend back home would not approve of her dateing a colonist, but if she was Sarah's friend she would want her to be happy.
Breakfast
"Sarah, I just got a letter from your mother" Dr. Ben Franklin said at breakfast. "What did she say Dr. Franklin?" she asked. "Your friend Anna Jane, I bealive, is coming to visit Philidelphia, I think she said her Uncle owns a general store" he answerd. Anna Jane? she thought. "When is she getting in" "Noon today, you and James should go to the docks and meet her" "Sounds good to me Dr. Franklin" James said. By now everyone knew about Sarah and James's love.
11:50 a.m. The dock
Sarah and James stood there, waiting for the boat that carried Anna Jane to arrive. By 11:55 Sarah found herself in James's arms. At 11:59 the ship pulled into the dock, and passangers began pooring, soon Anna Jane come off of the ship andshe found Sarah and James and ran up to them...
