Chapter 1
It was a bright, sunny day in Fuedal Japan; the group was sitting in Kaede's Hut. InuYasha and Kagome were at each other's throats, again! "Well I thought I was just a Jewel Seeker to you! So why can't I go home?" screams Kagome. "I told you already. I need you!" InuYasha fires back at her. "Oh I see YOU need me, well your precious jewel is whole again, Naraku's gone, and My Family needs me, go find your precious Kikyo!" "Is that what you think I want?" "Hey, I'm not the one who promised to go to Hell with her!" "Keh, believe what you want!" "WHAT is that suppose to mean, you made it clear you only needed me for one thing and that's done so just let me go home" "Will you two STOP! And listen to what Lady Kaede has to say?" Shouts Sango "Ah, thank ye Sango. I think ye all have done enough yelling for one day."
All at once the bickering comes to an end and both silver haired Hanyou and the Dark Haired Miko look up. "What do you want old Hag" question InuYasha. "God, could you show some respect for once in you life you… you .. BAKA" "Ok, OK, did ye not understand what I said? Sometimes I fear ye will never get along." "Ye need to know that at some point soon the bone-eaters well will seal up and Kagome has a choice she can stay here, or go home." "Feh, stupid magic well, never wants anything good to happen." "Does that mean you wish me to stay here… ?" hope starts to light up Kagome's eyes 'I want to stay here with my friends, and my.. love, but I'll be crushed if he goes off to Kikyo' "Err.. you look to far into everything" "Kami, I want to tell her to stay here with me.. I want her to be my mate, but I would be crushed if she said no' "I HATE you, I'll just go home and find a guy who loves me back!" Tears brim up in Kagome's eyes as here heart splits in two, she runs off into the woods and towards the well, she never looks back, if she had she would have seen the confused look on InuYasha's face.
Meanwhile
During the middle of InuYasha's and Kagome's fight Miroku and Sango fled the hut in search of peace. "So… Do you think she'll really go home, Miroku?" "I hope not my dear Lady Sango." The silently fall into their own thoughts and while later Sango breaks the silence. "Did you mean it?" "…" Miroku sits there confused looking like he walked into a conversation half way through "mean what?" "MONK, if you've forgotten then I won't tell you!" 'Did he really forget all my promise to bear his children' 'Could she really be talking about.. Why does she seem so mad yet so sad all at once' "Lady Sango, why are you upset? Do you no longer wish to bear my children?" As joy lights up her face she jumps into his arms. "Yes, yes Miroku I will bear your children" "Then why were you upset? Did you believe me to have forgotten?" Sango blushes, but then Miroku's hand rubs over her ass "HENTAI! Do you think you can grope whenever you want now?" "…" 'sighs it's all normal again' thinks Sango
With Kagome
Kagome comes to a halt in front of the well an inner debate going on deep within her very being. She sits on the ledge of the well… 'Should I go home, but I'll never be happy, what about my family, but my friends are my family as well.' "Oh what…." Then Silence falls and darkness surrounds her as she falls down the well.
