"Get it through your head! I'm not coming back." Black, fiery marks blazed across the body that towered over a gasping orange heap on the ground. The broken blond writhed on the ground, trying to twist himself into a position from which he could stand from.
"Sasuke..." he growled, his orange aura pulsing faintly, "You will! I'll make you!" Naruto sprung up, claws screaming forward with a feral speed that forced the Uchiha to use his Sharingan, the blood limit barely aiding him in countering the demonic speed. Raven locks seemed to float for a moment as he gained ground and swung his foot down on a ghostly image, the dull crack of impact against flesh welcoming the movement. Naruto let out a stangled gasp as he hit the ground hard, blood flowing over his tongue and tinting the soil beneath him an ugly, dark shade.
"Hn. I'm tired of these games," he scoffed, dipping down to grab the tight collar on the Konoha ninja that lay limply at his feet. A strange creature's crimson eyes met the bright vermillion of the Uchiha inheritance, the latter narrowed in sick amusement. "Just remember, I haven't forgotten..."
Pale lips pressed against those slicked with blood, awakening their owner from their clouded half-consciousness. Point nails flew up and clung into curse-dappled biceps, the rest of his body frozen with abuse and shock. The feeling was so reminiscent of their last day in Konoha's ninja academy, but the mouth that refused to let go had a frightening, deliberate force and was considerably... colder.
The kiss was broken slowly and the lips drifted to rest on Naruto's ear. "I'm going to kill you, Dobe," was whispered mockingly, the icy tone in the words that echoed the past so closely only aiding to buckle the jinchuuriki's knees as his collar was released. He could feel the Kyuubi's chakra retreating back inside of him, the unnatural strength that was keeping him awake slipping away from his grasp and making his eyelids heavy.
"Damnit… Sasuke…" was all he could get out as that familiar back retreated, the stylized red and white fan blurring into dark fabric until the entire world went black.
