You are amazing. I wrote this story long ago, and this would not have crossed my mind at the time.
Having a LGBT lead would make things much more interesting especially considering the fact that Wentworth Miller is part of the LGBT community himself. Plus, it would make much more sense as you stated.
This however, is Fanfiction. People have the freedom to write anything they please even if it makes no sense what so ever.
I read over my older pieces now, and can see how much I have grown. This is one of my older pieces and it is garbage in comparrison to my newer.
You will probably never see this as you were a guest and I could not send you this responce directly, but if it makes it too you. Thank you for the review and I hope you are out there writing LGBT Michael Scofield fanfiction because frankly that sounds amazing.
