Sonnet of the Heart 1
Koway: hey, this was an activity the people of Literary Journal had to do at my school on Valentine's day. Yea, I was meaning to post it but I was busy with another flic. Well, this is once again for D. N Angel and the style is one of a Shakespearian sonnet just so you know. It took awhile to write but it's done, see if you can figure out who is thinking this. enjoy!
Sonnet of the Heart 1
As I see you in the night sky above,
I wonder what you are thinking tonight.
Your gentle face with the eyes that I love.
I want you to hold me close, warm, and tight.
Your light shines through the darkness of my heart,
And I wish you could be here beside me.
So close together yet so far apart.
A cool night breeze rushes by from the sea.
The darkness surrounds me but you are there.
Still visible in the sea of my thoughts,
My mind races until you just appear.
You smile at me, forgetting your plots
And I find a sense of peace within you,
In knowing that you feel the way I do.
