Elena's gone, now everyone's blaming me for what happened. Elena's gone now I'm all alone. What use is there talking in her jounral about this? It'll only make her sad and I'm sad enough for the whole town as it is.
Bonnie guzzled another 2 ounce pomegrante margarita, waving her finger in the air to Matt for another round of drink roulette.
"Another round of drink roulette mister donnoban sirrrr." Enzo slurred from across the bar.
"If a vampire is drunk, he must've been here all day." She noted.
"Grilly's full menu of beers and eight rounds of drink roulette. Last night I did the first eight rounds." He agreed. Bonnie looked wide-eyed at Matt, who shrugged with no concern. She rolled her eyes and shook her head, going to sit with Enzo. Elena wouldn't have let someone that depended on them get to this state.
"What's going on mister murder guy?" She asked. Enzo snorted and coughed, downing a shot of lemon schnapps. He stared at the bar for a good minute, Bonnie almost thought he wouldn't answer.
"Damon and Elena brought his mother back from that prison world earth place thing." He said, groaning for a moment. Bonnie stared at him.
"So?"
"Lillian fucking Salvatore is my sire. And I guess I'm sired TO her, because I had feelings for her before she turned me. I didn't remember any of that until she came back."
"Shit."
"Yep."
"What're you gonna do about it?"
"Not much I can do right now, she's getting her bloody creepy heretic family settled into the Salvatore mansion. And apparently, the dolt who turned her is the one she's in love with."
"Dude. That's rough."
"Yup."
Bonnie downed her own lemon schnapps, hissing at the taste and then signalling for another round.
"What about you, witchy-woo? Why you even here?" Enzo asked, signalling for the same.
"Elena."
"And you're scared to death Damon's gonna kill you to bring her back, so you're jealous of her." Enzo finished for her. Bonnie wasn't sure if she could correct him and he'd remember. She decided it wasn't worth the time.
They spent another two hours on drink roulette, before starting a drink competition with four other patrons. Some girl Bonnie didn't even know named Hannah won but promptly had to be called a cab after alcohol poisoning.
As closing time neared, she decided Enzo wasn't going to be here three days in a row. She tugged on his arm and he looked at her.
"Come back and crash at my place."
"You have booze?"
"Yup." She lied, tugging again. He practically sped them out of the bar.
Bonnie fought the urge to vomit, hitting him in the shoulder to make them slow down. He obliged in an instant, though she had to hold him up so he wouldn't fall over completely.
"Sorry your life sucks." Bonnie said, kissing his cheek. Enzo's face whipped to hers and his pupils dilated dramatically.
"You too." He replied, kissing her hard on the mouth. She yelped in surprise, but threw her arms around him. He kissed her again, and they stood there for a moment. Damn, he was a good kisser.
Enzo tried taking her jacket off, but she stopped him. "I'd much rather make out in a warm house instead of a dark damp parking lot." She protested.
"Where's your house then?" He asked. She told him, and away they flew. Luckily for her she hadn't invited him in yet, so he couldn't obliterate her door. He panted, and Bonnie swept out of his arms and onto the ground, opening the door and swinging her arms wildly.
"Mister Enzo sirrrrr, you are more than welcome to come in." She said with pride. Enzo sped in and wrapped his arms around her again, the door shutting with such force Bonnie worried she'd have to check the structure of the house in the morning. But for now, they were on the bed. It was only supposed to be a crazy makeout session, but she felt her hands beginning to take off his shirt.
Clothes were coming off.
Kisses were getting sloppier, hands were exploring in their own way.
"God, you're hot." Bonnie panted, tugging on the necklace Enzo wore as he palmed her chest.
"Nope, it's Enzo. Enzo is hot." He replied, and she cackled, his human teeth scraping at her chin and nose. She rolled on top of him and undid his belt. He struggled to sit up and recapture her lips, digging his nails into her ass and scraping down to her thighs, then they switched positions again and she grabbed his shoulder, anchoring him to her best she could. It was just too good.
That's all she remembered.
When she woke up, Enzo was still passed out on top of her, fully naked. She pushed him off of her and he bounced on the mattress with his arms spread out. She watched him, and when she decided he wasn't going to wake anytime soon, she hurried and took a shower. Then brushed her teeth to get the alcohol off her breath.
Bonnie had buttoned the last button of her shirt coming out of her bathroom when she noticed Enzo was now awake, and under the covers.
"You got somewhere to be, love?" Enzo asked. Bonnie gave him a look. He averted his eyes, and chuckled. "That was crass, wasn't it?"
"Little bit. Besides, it's time to go back to your sire." Bonnie teased. If he could've blushed, he would have. All he did was pull on his clothes from last night. "If you want you could borrow some of my dad's clothes."
"No need. Everything's black. No one would be able to tell the difference."
"Maybe shower then. Don't need to be smelling like an enemy witch when you go back to the mansion." She offered. Enzo gave her a look, and it was her turn to blush.
"I'm glad we're agreed that last night was a mistake, then." He replied.
"Yup." Was all she said. Enzo bundled the rest of his clothes into a ball and disappeared into her bathroom, before he called for help on how to work the shower.
When she showed him, she tried to bolt out the door, feigning her phone was buzzing but he caught her arm. With a gentle but firm tug, he captured her lips again. Slowly they broke apart, the warm steam beginning to fill the room.
"Thank you." He said.
If you're thanking me for showing you how to turn on the shower, there were other ways of saying it. She thought. Bonnie turned without a word and took her phone, then left her house.
She hoped he would be gone by the time she had to come back for anything she forgot.
