First Day of School
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
An alarm sounded off in a bedroom as a hand rose up from beneath the sheets of the and slammed the alarm clock's snooze button. A groan was heard before a young man, who looked to be 16 years old, sat up with a sleepy expression on his face. The boy had lightly-tanned skin, brown eyes, and had brown hair, but had a single streak of red and blue hair mixed in. This young man's name was Kenta Sodo.
Kenta's room looked just like any other room for a boy his age, with a bed, bookshelf, and desk with a computer on it, but there was also a work bench on another side of the room, and various posters of Gundams hanged up on his wall.
"Whelp, time to start the day." Kenta groaned tiredly, as he got up from bed to get ready for the day.
Today was his first day transferring to a new school, the esteemed Kuoh Academy. Earlier this year, the famous private announced that it would go from being an all-girls school to co-ed, and his parents jumped at the chance to enroll him, much to his regret. Kenta never really fit in at any school he went to, so he wasn't that thrilled to be going, but who was he to say no to his parents.
Kenta changed into his winter uniform, which was a dark blazer over a white buttoned-down shirt, which he had the top buttons open to reveal a bit of his dark blue shirt. After checking his clock and seeing that he still had some time before he had to leave, he decided to get back to work at a little project he's been working on.
He sat down by his workbench that was set up in his room, that was littered with mechanical parts and tools of all kinds. He pulled out what appeared to be an unfinished teal colored robot dog.
"Okay, time to get this good boy working." Kenta said with a grin as he started working on the robot. He opened a hatch on the robot dogs back before he screwed in a few more pieces and connected some wirings inside its body. He closed the hatch and began to smile with eagerness. "Okay then, please work this time." Kenta pulled out a remote control and pressed a button.
Kenta waited with baited breath as he gazed at the robot dog, before its eyes lit up and it moved its head to look right at the young man. The eye lights changed to a happy expression as its tail started wave back and forth. "Bark! Bark!"
"Yes! Yes, it works!" Kenta cheered with his hands up. He picked the dog up as its speakers gave a panting sound as if it was an actual dog. "After almost a year of maintenance and long nights, you finally work!"
"Bark!" The robot dog barked again, but then froze as its eyes changed into a red 'X' and it started to spark out in different places of its body.
"Uh oh." Kenta said fearfully as he ducked underneath the table, just before the robot dog exploded and its body parts spread across the room. Kenta rose back up and groaned in annoyance. "Oh man, not again!"
"Please try to keep damages to a minimum in this house." Kenta looked back to the entrance of his room to see his dad look at him with a firm expression. His dad was pretty tall with brown hair, dark brown eyes, and wore a professional business suit.
"Sorry, dad." Kenta said with regret.
His dad then smiled as he walked up and ruffled his son's hair. "Remember, son, great success is built on failure, frustration, even catastrophe."
Kenta gave his dad a smirk before responding. "Thomas Edison? Really?"
"If it works, it works." His dad said with pride.
"I just wish I had more equipment to work with, instead of some of the useless junk i have already." Kenta grumbled, before he grad an idea and looked at his dad with a hopeful expression. "You think maybe I could use some of the equipment at your company building's lab? You know, for an easier route to get my project done?"
"Son, before I founded Sodo Industries, I had to use all the resources that I could find for myself to build it from the ground up. Never was I ever granted an 'easier route.'" His dad advised wisely. "Use the resources that are at your disposal, not mine."
"Yeah, but I've been working on this for so long." Kenta complained.
"Good, that should make it all the more rewarding when you accomplish it on your own." His dad said with a smirk.
"Kenta! Hokuto! Come on down for breakfast!" A woman's voice called out from downstairs.
"Well, can't keep your mother waiting." Hokuto said as he exited the room.
"Yeah, you're right about that." Kenta said as he was about to head out, but then gave a mischievous smirk as he gathers the robot dog parts and placed them in his backpack before making his way down to eat.
The family of three soon sat around the table and ate their breakfast in relative peace, but the parents could tell that their son was bothered by something.
"Kenta, is something the matter?" His mother, named Madoka, asked her son. "Aren't you excited to be going to your new school?"
"Excited isn't the word I would use?" Kenta said with a sigh. "Mom, Dad, why am I going to a new school? It's just going to be the same as the many other schools I've been to."
"Not like this one." Hokuto said. "Kuoh Academy stands as a symbol of academic excellence and to be accepted is quite an honor. We should count ourselves lucky that they decided to allow boys into their school."
"That's not what I meant." Kenta said with a sigh. "Every school I go to will have the exact same result. The moment everyone knows who I am, or who my family is, they're going to want special favors, or see if I can get them some cool stuff for free."
Madoka sighed, as that was usually the case most times, before placing a hand on her son's shoulder. "I know times were tough back then, but who knows, maybe this school will be different."
"Yeah, I'm not so sure about that." Kenta said in disagreement.
"Kenta, I know things have been rough, but this is a great opportunity for you." Hokuto said strongly, before he gained a little bit of a smirk. "Who knows? Maybe you'll finally get yourself a girlfriend?"
Kenta nearly choked on his food as he gave a few coughs, before glaring at his dad. "Dad!"
"What? I'm just saying." Hokuto said with his smirk still present on his face.
"Okay, I'm off to school!" Kenta exclaimed as he quickly up and gathered his things and made his way out. "I'll see you guys later on!"
Seeing their son leave in a hurry, the two parents couldn't help but laugh. "Do you think that was too much?" Hokuto asked his wife.
"Honey, he's our son." Madoka giggled mischievously. "There's no such thing as too much."
/
Kenta sighed as he walked down the street towards his new school. While he couldn't get the teasing out of his head, he also couldn't get what they were previously talking about out of his head either.
You see, being the heir to a major technological company that makes inventions for the betterment of mankind, isn't as fun or amazing as it may seem. It really puts a damper on his social life when ordinary people find out that he's not only rich, but in line to run the most powerful tech company in existence. Everybody eventually wants something from him, thinking he can pretty much get them whatever they desire.
That's why it was hard to make friends, cause you're not really sure if they want to be friends.
Kenta checked his digital watch and noticed that the time was later than he expected, meaning he needed to get to Kuoh Academy as soon as possible. Reaching into his backpack, Kenta pulled out a long metal rectangular object, and then he started folding different pieces in place and extending it before he changed it into a metal skateboard.
Placing it on the ground, Kenta hopped on and placed his foot forward, causing the skateboard to move forward on its own without having the need to kick the ground. Compact-able and automated skateboard, a nice little old school invention his family's company made years ago.
After riding down the street for another few minutes, Kenta eventually made it to his destination; the high esteemed Kuoh Academy. The school was large, bigger than any other school that he's ever attended, with at least three stories to it, multiple adjacent buildings close by it, and definitely had an old yet grand look to it.
"Okay, let's get this day started." Kenta said as he folded up his metal skateboard and placed it in his backpack, before pulling out a piece of paper and reading it. "Let's see, says here I need to head to the Student Council room to receive my schedule." With that said, Kenta walked through the front gate, already earning some looks from the students, with majority being female.
"Hey, who's that boy over there?"
"I don't know, but he kind of looks familiar."
"What's with the red and blue in his hair. He's probably a delinquent of some kind."
"I don't know, I think they make him look sexy~."
Kenta blushed at the various looks some of the girls were giving him, with some even giving off predatory glances, like he was a piece of meat. The guys, however...
"Who the hell is this guy?"
"I don't know, but I don't like the way some of the girls are looking at him."
"Great, do we have another Kiba on our hands?!"
"Oh, come on, not another pretty boy taking all the girls' attention away from us!"
Those kinds of remarks caused Kenta to give each of these guys an annoyed glare. This was once am all-girls school, so it would make sense that some of the guys' main focus would be girls instead of school. This doesn't mean Kenta doesn't want to find someone in the future, but it's just hard for him got find someone who genuinely wants to be with him for him, not his money or status.
Unbeknownst to him, someone was standing up on the roof of the building, and had their eyes focused solely on him as he walked. A figure with long flowing bright red hair. "That boy..."
Kenta eventually walked into the school building and walked down the hallways to try and find the Student Council room, but so far, he was having no luck. "Man, this building so huge, I can't make heads or tails of where I'm going." Kenta said in frustration.
"Hey, you okay there?" A female voice spoke behind him. Kenta looked back to see a tall and slender, short blue-haired girl, with a bit of a tomboyish face, though that still didn't change the fact that she was very pretty.
'Wow, she's pretty cute.' Kenta thought, before getting back on track. "Actually, maybe you can help me. I'm supposed to be heading to the Student Council Room to pick up my schedule."
"Oh, you're a new transfer student, huh?" The girl said with a smile. "Well, my name's Tsubasa Yura, and I'm actually a part of the Student Council. If you want, I can take there myself."
"Oh, thank God." Kenta said with relief, not even noticing the slight flinch Tsubasa gave. "I was starting to become stir crazy looking for it."
"Hey, it's no problem, just follow me." Tsubasa said as she walked down the hall with Kenta in tow.
They walked down the hallway for about another minute before they came to a closed door where Tsubasa opened it up and let him in. The Student Council room looked just like an office space with various desks around with different stacks of paperwork.
Throughout the room working on various tasks, were what he guessed were the Student Council, which seemed to be comprised of only female members, at least from what he saw. There was a girl with long white hair, a girl with shoulder length reddish-brown hair, and another girl that had really long black hair that almost went down to her knees and glasses that were blue and semi-rimmed, plus she had large breasts that supermodels would be envious of, though Kenta wanted to be a gentleman and tried not to stare.
At the main desk that was in the far back of the room, sat a young woman with a slim figure, short hair in bob-cut style, bespectacled, and had violet eyes that had an aura of authority. Having been dragged into board meetings by his father to see how the business of his family's company works, Kenta can definitely tell she had the eyes of someone of high standing. Despite all of that, Kenta could not hide the blush he was forming by just how beautiful this woman was. There were more desks that were empty, which meant that there were other members, but they just weren't here at the moment.
"Madame President." Tsubasa said respectively.
The young woman looked up from the paperwork she was working on and looked up at Kenta, giving him a clear view of her beautiful violet eyes. "Yes, may help you?" The young woman asked.
"Oh, yes, I'm a new transfer student. I was told to come here to pick up my schedule." Kenta said.
"Very well then, it is nice to meet." The young woman said politely as she looked through a folder and pulled out a piece of paper to read it's contents. "Kenta Sodo, you will now be a new second-year student, and here is your schedule." She handed him his new schedule.
"Thank you, miss..."
"Shitori. Souna Shitori; I'm the Student Council President." Souna introduced.
"Thanks, Miss Shitori." Kenta said gratefully.
"Mr. Sodo, I'd just like for you to understand something." Souna said as she gave him a critical look. "I know who you are, and what your family does for a living, and I just want you to know that it doesn't matter. I don't want you to think that just because you're the heir to Sodo Industries that you'll be getting special treatment. When you're in this school, you are just a regular student."
Instead of being put off or offended by that, Kenta looked somewhat relieved by this. "Honestly, Miss Shitori, I'm actually looking forward to that."
Souna nodded at that answer. "I'm happy you understand that." Kenta was about to walk out the room for class, but noticed a small table off to the side and saw a chess board that looked like it was stopped mid-game. Souna noticed him stopping and looked at him curiously. "Is there anything else, Mr. Sodo."
"Sorry, I just noticed the unfinished chess game." Kenta said sheepishly.
"Do you play?" Souna asked.
"I've had a few matches with my dad here and there, but I'm not so much of an expert. Who were you playing against?" Kenta asked curiously.
"A friend." Souna said simply. "An emergency came up that halted our game and we haven't had the chance to finish it."
"Mind if I...?" Kenta asked curiously as he gestured to the chess board. Souna gave him a critical look, that honestly made him a bit nervous, but she eventually nodded her head, giving him permission. Kenta looked back at the board and gave it a long glance over, before he picked up a white Knight piece and moved it. "Checkmate." Kenta said before he walked out the room.
Souna Shitori, who, unbeknownst to Kenta, was really named Sona Sitri, watched him go before glancing at the chessboard with a critical look, with an undertone of respect.
'He managed to outwit Rias' strategy with just a mere glance, even using the exact same move I would have used to defeat her.' Sona thought deeply as she thought about her interaction with the new boy in school. He seemed average, yet just that one move on the chess board revealed that he had keen intellect.
Not to mention, there was something else deep within him that felt...different.
'Kenta Sodo...just who are you?' Sona thought to herself with a critical gaze.
/
"Alright class, we have a new student here with us today, and I want to make you allot make him feel welcomed." The teacher said as Kenta stood in front of the board with his name written down. "Please introduce yourself, young man."
Kenta nodded as he gave a polite bow to the class. "Good morning, everyone, my name is Kenta Sodo. I hope we can all get along." Kenta said politely, earning whispered murmurs from the rest of the class.
"Wait...did he just say Sodo?"
"As in Sodo Industries, the company that's building the future?"
"I wouldn't go that far."
"Are you kidding? That company makes so much technological advances, they're just one idea away from making Skynet."
"You know...I wouldn't mind making him feel very welcomed."
"Great, not only is he another pretty boy, but he's rich too?!"
"Alright, settle down everyone." The teacher said sternly, before looking towards Kenta. "Now then, Mr. Sodo, please pick your seat.
Kenta nodded as he walked to an empty desk, all the while trying to avoid the lustful looks from the girls, and the angry envious looks from the guys. Already his first minute in a new school, and he wasn't all too thrilled by how it was going.
All throughout class, everything seemed to return to relatively normal. Kenta could still feel a few glares going his way here and there, but he ignored them and just focused on the lesson. It was relatively easy, and he breezed through all of the questions asked without any difficulties, thanks to all the lessons his dad hammered into him.
When class was finally over, Kenta gathered up his things so he could head on out for lunch. As he was about to exit the class room, he was stopped by two male students who looked very different from each other, with one having a shaven head, while the other one had short brown hair and glasses. They both gave him friendly smiles, but there was just something about them that Kenta did not like.
"Can I help you?" Kenta asked.
"Nice to meet you. The name's Matsuda." The shaven-headed teen greeted.
"And I'm Motohama." The glasses wearing boy introduced as he pushed his glasses up.
"Kenta. Kenta Sodo." Kenta introduced politely.
"Yeah, we know who you are. I'm pretty sure everyone now knows who you are." Matsuda said with a chuckle.
'Lucky me.' Kenta thought sarcastically.
"So...you've probably seen some pretty awesome stuff at your company, right?" Motohama said, trying to sound casual, but the mischievous glint in his glasses made Kenta look at him warily.
"Yeah...?" Kenta replied warily.
"Do you know, by any chance, if you have anything x-ray glasses?" Motohama asked.
"Why do want x-ray glasses?" Kenta asked curiously, though he probably wouldn't like the answer.
And sure enough, he was right.
"Why? Isn't it obvious?!" Matsuda exclaimed with an enormous grin.
"If we had a pair of x-ray specks, we can peek in on the girls changing room all we want!" Motohama said with a matching grin. "And let's not forget we can use it whenever we want, even during class time!"
"We can have the most glorious view for the rest of our lives, seeing all the girls in nothing but their birthday suits while they're still clothed!" Matsuda continued.
POW! POW!
"Idiots." Kenta mumbled as he just walked away from the knocked-out forms of those two. He's only been in this school just for this day, and already people were asking him favors for their own selfish reasons. 'Different school, but the same song is still playing.'
"Wow, did you see that?" One of the girls whispered to her friend.
"He just knocked out the Perverted Duo, just like that." The other girl whispered in amazement. "Though, I don't blame him, considering what those two nasty perverts just said."
"Not only is he handsome and rich, but he's also chivalrous!" Another girl said with a lovesick expression. "He's like a real-life Prince Charming, just like Kiba!"
Pretty soon, all of the girls looked at Kenta with a mixture of respect, showing how much they appreciated what he did. Though, once again, he's been getting lustful and predatory looks from some of the girls, making him a bit nervous. 'Not sure if this attention is better, or worse.' Kenta thought nervously.

School finally ended, much to Kenta's relief. It wasn't as bad as he thought it would be, but it had its ups and downs, one of them being his interaction with the Perverted Duo. Now that the day was over, Kenta can finally get set on what he needed to do. After walking out the front gates of Kuoh, Kenta brought out and unfolded his portable skateboard and rode off down the street, but not in the direction of home.
He's got a different destination in mind, one that he's been waiting all day to get to.
After riding into the center of Kuoh Town, Kenta was able to spot the tallest building in the entire city, the Sodo Industries building. It's size completely overshadowed every other building surrounding it, with the name attached on the side. Kuoh Town wasn't a small town, by any means, but his family's company building definitely stood out like a sore thumb.
After putting his skateboard back in his backpack, Kenta turned a corner of the building and made his way to a small side entrance door for employees only that could only enter with an access code. Luckily, being the heir to this company, he had his own access code so he can enter in no problem. So, after putting in his code, he entered the building.
"Dad said that I needed to use the resources that I could find and at my disposal, but I will own this company someday, so it's resources are technically my resources?" Kenta questioned as he walked down the empty hallway and thought about his logic, before shrugging. "Yeah, that makes sense."
"You keep talking to yourself, people will think you're crazy."
"Gah!" Kenta screamed as he looked back and saw a man in a security guard uniform looking at him with a smirk. "Geez, Mr. Otori, you nearly gave me a heart attack."
"What are you doing here, kid?" Otori questioned with a raised eyebrow. "You do realize your name is on the building, so you can just walk through the front door like a normal person, right?"
"Yeah..." Kenta said with an uneasy smile. "But that would mean that my dad will know that I'm here."
"Ah, I see, you're sneaking in." Otori said with a smirk. "And why shouldn't I radio your dad, who also happens to be my boss, that you're here?"
"Please." Kenta begged, as he opened his bag to show parts to his robot. "All I need is spare parts from the scrap wing and use one of the labs that are not in use right now. I've been working on this project for a year, and this place has everything I need to finish it." Otori still didn't look convinced, causing Kenta to sigh solemnly. "I'm working on this to show my dad that I have what it takes to work in this company, before I take over it one day."
Otori looked at the kid for a few more seconds, before sighing and then chuckled. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna tell your dad."
"Really?" Kenta asked with a smile.
"Look kid, everyone knows that you're some kind of super genius, so I don't really get why you have to prove something, but if it's that important to you, then alright." Otori said as he walked in the opposite direction. "As far as I'm concerned, I never saw you here."
"Thanks a bunch, Mr. Otori!" Kenta said as he walked off in the opposite direction.
After going down different hallways, while also trying to avoid anything more people, not wanting to take the chance that they'll be as lenient of him sneaking in like Mr. Otori was, he eventually made it into the scrap wing. Every piece of scrap metal from various projects were stored in here before they would be properly disposed of, which made it the perfect place to gather the necessary equipment needed to finish his project.
After gathering as many parts as he could, he made his way to a lab that was currently not in use, before placing all the parts he gathered, as well as the pieces of his unfinished robot dog on a workbench.
"Okay...let's get you working." Kenta said with a confident smirk as he started to work.
Meanwhile...
The lobby of Sodo Industries was bustling with many people in business suits entering and exiting the building, going about their personal and financial business with the company. A woman at the front desk was busy answering and transferring calls, but paused when she heard the sound of screeching tires coming from outside.
This noise caught the attention of everyone in the lobby as it sounded really close. One guy decided to take a quick peek outside to see where it was coming from, but the moment he peeked outside, his eyes widened in fear and he bolted back in.
"EVERYBODY DOWN!" He exclaimed with fear.
CRASH!
All of a sudden, three large black vans came driving up and crashed right through the lobby doors and windows. Everyone present screamed in fright as they ducked behind whatever cover they could find, whether it be inside a bathroom or hiding behind some waiting chairs. The door of each van opened to reveal over a dozen armed men wearing black and red body armor, black masks that covered their entire heads that had red tinted goggles that hid their identities.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please remain calm!" One of the mercenaries exclaimed as the rest of his crew spread out and gathered up everyone in the lobby together. "We'll be out of your hair as soon as we get what we want!" He walked towards the front desk and looked down to see the secretary lady attempting to hide beneath the desk, but he could still see her. "Excuse me ma'am, I don't have an appointment, but maybe you can help me out."
The woman shakily stood up and raised her hands to show she was complying. "W-What do y-you want?" The woman stuttered fearfully.
"The Research and Development wing, where is it?" The mercenary demanded. The woman shakily pointed to a double set of doors, to which the man nodded in satisfaction, before turning to two of his men. "You two, stay here. The cops should be here in mere moments, but when they do, show that we have hostages and they better not do anything if they know what's good these people." The guy nodded before the rest went through the double doors.

Meanwhile, in the forests that are just beyond Kuoh Town, everything was peaceful and quiet, with the wildlife animals just going about their lives. However, the main focus was not on the wildlife itself, but rather something that was buried deep within the wildlife. At the end of a large trench, buried beneath dirt, trees, and had foliage growing around it, was the Autobot ship, the Sky Lynx, remaining perfectly motionless ever since it crashed here on Earth.
Inside the bridge of the ship, a raccoon crawled inside the cracked open viewing window and walked along the control panel. After crawling around here and there, it stumbled a bit and accidentally pressed a series of buttons, which caused the control panel to light up.
"Backup power, online!"The lights inside the ship come back on and all of the control panels were back online."Stasis pods, operational. Five Spark signatures accounted for and functioning. Beginning disequilibrium process."
Inside the room that held the five stasis pods, one of them lit up before steam sprouted on the sides. Not long after the pod opened up to reveal Bumblebee, completely motionless after many years in stasis. When the pod was completely opened up, Bumblebee's eyes began to open.
"Ugh...what...what happened..." Bumblebee groaned as he slowly walked out of his stasis pod.
Bumblebee looked around and noticed how badly damaged the ship was, before he walked to the damaged bridge and gasped at the destroyed viewing window. He had a clear view of the clear blue sky, the birds flying in the air, the many trees and woodland creatures that crawled upon them. Bumblebee stared wide-eyed at all of this, unable to process what was going on before he finally spoke up.
"Where in Primus are we?" Bumblebee whispered in shock.

Wow...so this story...wow, I did not expect it to get some hate on the first chapter...
I have just one thing to say to all those that insulted me just for my opinion...
...
...
...
Cool.
Yeah, you're all welcome to my opinion, and I honestly don't care what you think of me, or the choices that I make for this story. I was thinking about abandoning this story for a brief moment, but then there were some people that said they liked it. And you know what, they're the ones who matter to me.
So if you hate this story, stop wasting your energy and write mean hateful comments about it and read a story that you will like. I am going to continue writing this story with all the love I can give it, because I am a huge fan of Transformers and of Highschool DxD, despite my opinions about certain aspects of both.
Anyway, on to the actual Author's Note...
This chapter was shorter than previous one because it was more of an introductory chapter to our main character, Kenta Sodo. I cannot wait for him to be introduced to the world of both Transformers and the supernatural world, but as a kid of science, I can't wait to write him reacting to both an aspect from science fiction and para-supernatural.
One of the inspirations for Kenta was actually Sari Sumdac, one with him being the son of a scientist who owns his own company that creates advanced technology, but he is going to be different from her.
Next chapter we will see a lot of the Autobots and them getting their first reactions to Earth. I am super excited for the next chapter as the five Autobots I've chosen for this little trip to Earth are some of my favorites in Transformers' media.
Anyway, that's all I have to say at the moment. Stay healthy everyone, stay safe, and I will see you all next time.
