Genoko stared lovingly at the photo in her wallet, occasionally rubbing her thumb across the picture. Really the only reason she got the wallet was because Saitama had given her the photo.

Saitama was such a lovely woman, despite her apathetic attitude toward life. She opened her home when she didn't have to, and gracefully - or not so gracefully- took the title of mentor. All things considered, Genoko was surprised when Saitama wanted to take pictures together. To see her sensei smile in such a way really was a treat.

She plopped down on the floor, making quite a loud thunk. She really could just stare at it all day, although it's a shame that it's one of the few memories they had together.

"Would sensei be opposed to taking more pictures with me?" She said aloud, continuing to fiddle with her wallet.

Of course Genoko had tons, or maybe even thousands of pictures of Saitama. Her heat sensors flared in her cheeks. She was pretty sure sensei wouldn't be thrilled if she knew she had those. All of those moments were certainly valuable, but pictures together? Being happy and laughing together? This is what Genoko sought with her beloved sensei.

Maybe Saitama needed an occasion. Genoko put her hand thoughtfully to her hair, then back down to the table. Either way, it would have to wait until tonight. There was much to be done around the house.

Saitama was out on the balcony of the cheap apartment, enjoying those nightly summer breezes. Genoko had finished with the dishes some time ago after their very quiet dinner, but she always caught herself wasting time just looking at her beautiful teacher. Genoko would typically just ask Saitama, regardless of her reactions, but this time she needed an absolute success. Success required careful planning. She had already ran the data and statistics, and thankfully it was mostly in her favor.

She joined Saitama and stared out into the abandoned Z-city. To most this would be a terrible, even creepy sight to behold, but when you were as strong as Saitama, there was nothing worth being scared over.

"Dinner was really great, thanks Genoko."

"Of course sensei."

More silence. Genoko wondered if Saitama ever felt self conscious about her looks. If so, she never showed it, or perhaps she got used to it.

Genoko used her optical camera and snapped a photo of this beautiful moment. She felt a little ashamed, but it would go great with her collection. Despite her lack of hair, Saitama had the most gorgeous eyes. Thick lashes and feminine eyebrows. Not to mention she had a figure that would make even the God's drop, well in Genoko's opinion.

"Is there a reason why you're staring at me? Do I have something in my teeth?"

Genoko's cheeks flared. She didn't even realize sensei had caught her. She needed to work on her diligence.

"N-No sensei. May I please ask you something?"

"Go for it."

Genoko concentrated, the execution of this needed to be flawless. "Would you like to accompany me to the beach, sensei?"

Saitama's eyes widened in surprise. Where was this coming from? Since when does Genoko want to go anywhere? She briefly wondered if she could even swim due to her mostly metal body.

"Uh, I guess so?"

Oh, Genoko was less prepared for this than she thought.

"I figured we could take advantage of the summer season!"

"Genoko can you even swim?"

Genoko did some quick calculations. It was possible for the doctor to make her more buoyant, at least she hoped so. Saitama knew that look and shook her head.

"I'm not worried about it. Sure, I would love to go."

Saitama was sure that if her young student could leap to the stars, she would. Genoko may be a cyborg, but the girl had personality. Saitama chuckled to herself as she watched the young girl whip out the futons. The bounce in her step was definitely the most adorable thing.

"I got really lucky with you, kid." She whispered to herself, turning to view the city one more time before heading off to bed.

Their trip ended up being a slight pain, as Saitama had to go buy a swim suit. Most of them were expensive and revealing, or cheap and ugly. Saitama didn't want to spend a lot, but there was no way she was appearing in public wearing a granny status bathing suit. It was a long and frustrating couple of hours, but with the help of Genoko and her fashion sense, Saitama thought she walked away with a pretty good deal.

"Sensei it will look great on you! Anything you wear looks great!"

"I hope you're right. I mean I'm fit, but I haven't worn one in so long."

If the world could measure Genoko's thundering heart, it would surely power cities. She wasn't sure if sensei considered this a date, but either way, the outing is an occasion, and a grand excuse to take photos together.

The next day Saitama and Genoko were standing on the sandy beach. Saitama had to admit, it was a bit strange seeing Genoko in revealing clothing, although her cybernetic body wasn't necessarily revealing in itself, it still struck a chord in her heart. Being somewhere other than their apartment was oddly therapeutic. Perhaps Genoko was right.

On the same note, Genoko could barely contain herself. Her sensei was so beautiful, as was this day. Neither of them really knew where to start or what to do. Just being near the crashing waves was somehow enough.

They set their stuff down and stood for a few moments. Saitama grabbed Genoko's wrist and tugged playfully.

"Come on, get in the water with me! If you start to sink I'll save you, so don't worry!"

Genoko saw stars. "Yes, sensei!"

Saitama ended up getting a little too into it, and her mere strength caused a wave strong enough to carry Genoko away. Although neither girl was worried. Their laughter was enough to fuel both of them for a lifetime. Saitama often forgot what it was like to have fun. Possessing unmatched strength with no opponents set her life to a standstill. Until Genoko randomly showed up at least.

They later took a break from their splashing shenanigans, and sat near the waves so Saitama could eat something. She didn't often like to admit it, but she had a slight crush on her young charge. The age gap was a tad wide, and if Saitama were to be honest with herself, she knew Genoko could do a lot better. She glanced over at the young woman.

'She's staring again.' Saitama noted, still munching on her lunch.

"Sensei, do you want to take a picture with me?" Genoko's voice was nervous, and it made Saitama's heart pound.

Saitama chuckled, "yeah sure, why not?"

The first few were a bit awkward, and Genoko was not the best at remembering to smile. But after some time, the atmosphere became less tense, and awkwardness turned to silliness. Both women were making funny faces, silly poses, unflattering angles and all. It was all extremely out of character for Saitama, and Genoko was milking it for everything it was worth. Just to see her sensei so happy made her heart full. It was an absolute dream come true.

It seemed time went by entirely too fast, as the sun was already setting. Genoko had already backed up all of their photos, and some of her own personal ones, into her system. Saitama was getting one last look at the sea. She could come out here any time, really, but not always with Genoko. Her stomach was doing flips, and Saitama figured she should say something before the clock struck twelve, so to speak.

"Genoko?"

"Yes sensei?"

"I really enjoyed today. I was sceptical at first. Actually I would have been content with just a normal outing, but I'm glad we did this."

Genoko didn't answer, she nodded her head and tried to overpower her heat sensors. It started with only wanting an excuse to take photos, but it turned into something much more than that.

"Genoko you... you can do a lot better than me, you know?"

"That isn't true!"

"My opinion still stands, but I really like you too. Let's go on dates more often."

Genoko's jaw dropped and she was pretty sure smoke was drifting out of her. "You? Sensei...me? Like?"

"Oi, don't make a scene!"
