A/N: I was bored so I came up with this drabble from Sasuke to Naruto. And to all you people who read 'By the Riverside,' Chapter five is probably coming on Saturday.
Even If You Can't Hear Me
I use to say 'I love you' everyday. But when my family died, that all changed. I had nobody to say it to anymore. Because when I say 'I love you' I always mean it.
But then you came walking into my life and changed everything. I found myself wanting to say that forgotten phrase again, renewing its existence in my speech. Because its good to have somebody to love, nice to have somebody to share your life with.
I would die for you and I want you to know that. Even if you don't think of me as more than a good friend, I want you to know that you mean the world to me, my top priority.
Even as I watch you now, sitting at my couch, watching my television while listening to your blaring Walkman, I start to imagine the world without you, but I can't. There would be no world without you, at least to me.
Your Walkman is playing so loud, but I still want you to know. I want you to know that I do love you, with everything I have. You turn and flash your toothy grin at me and as you turn back to the television I can't help but smile back.
Yes, I want you to know, so I'll tell you, even if you can't hear me. You sing to the music that is playing in your ear and I'm sure you won't be able to hear a word I say. But I still want you to know that,
"I love you,"
Even if you can't hear me.
