Pink. It's such a pretty, girly color. Such a…Galinda color! It was my color. My color ever since I was a little girl. I love it. It's so happy, so…perky! It's a popular color, and I am nothing if not popular.
There's another thing I've noticed about pink, however. It goes good with green. You might wonder how I came to this realization. Well, I'll tell you. You see, I have this roommate. And she's…well, she's green. Literally. She's also peculiar, obnoxious, and annoying. But, that's not the point.
Anyway, out of the goodness of my heart, I decided to make her popular like me. Well, not as popular as me. That would never be possible. She said I didn't have to, but that only made my gesture all the nicer. I really am a nice person, you know.
Where was I? Oh, yes, pink goes good with green. After giving several extremely helpful hints on how to be popular, I decided that my green friend needed a little pink. Doesn't everyone? I took the pink flower out of my own hair and put it in hers. And then I had to smile as I handed her a mirror. "Why, Miss Elphaba, look at you. You're beautiful." And you want to know something amazing? I wasn't even lying. I meant what I said. Pink goes extremely well with green.
