"Oooh! Is this your special someone you've been talking about broer?" Was the first thing Marielle had asked when she was introduced to Arthur, happy that her brother had found someone that made him happy.
"Yes… Henri, Marielle, meet Arthur." Lars muttered, slightly flustered.
"It's great to meet both of you! Lars always talks about you two, your sibling dynamic is simply brilliant! Unlike mine.." Arthur sighs, and everyone stays silent for a moment as he muses over how Alfred is constantly getting himself in trouble while Matthew does his best to help his brother get out of said situations.
"Well, how has big brother been treating you?" Henri asks, wanting to learn more about his big brother.
"Hm.. overall it's great, he's silent but he's charming in his own right," He praises, making a mental note about how Lars buries his face into his scarf. "But there's one slight problem.."
"What is it? Has he been bringing you wilting tulips?!" Marielle questions worriedly, what if he'd disgraced their family business by bringing his significant other less than perfect tulips.
"No no, the flowers are wonderful, but…He keeps losing me!" Arthur huffs, facing Lars with an expectant look.
"Huh..? How does he 'lose you' exactly?" It's now the youngest sibling's turn to ask, Henri wondering under what circumstances Lars could've 'lost' Arthur.
"We've been over this before Artie.. can we please not discuss this?"
"He lost me in a bloody crowd!" Arthur yells, exasperated.
"It's not my fault you're short.." Lars sighs as he watches the faces of his siblings shift from confusion to laughter.
"Yes I'm short you wanker, no need to shove it in my face," Arthur grumbles before continuing "I don't get it.. you're an amazing brother to your sister who's a good couple centimetres shorter than me, don't lose her, but lose me?"
"Well, I know a solution!" Marielle pipes up and looks at Henri, both siblings sharing a knowing look before reaching for Lars' signature scarf and unwrapping it from his neck, reaching for Arthur and wrapping him in the long piece of fabric as well as the owner. When they're done, they step back and admire their handiwork, a flustered Arthur and a slightly annoyed but amused Lars wrapped together in a scarf.
The sight makes them smile, and they're glad their big brother has found someone to make him happy.
