Thank You, My Friend

Yumi called the gang to the factory.
"Hey, Yumi. What's up?" Asked Ulrich
"I have something that I want to say to you all. I know this fight took a lot out of us, and I know that I speak for all of us when I thank god that XANA is finally is gone. I wrote this poem when I met all you for the first time. I hope you like it." Said Yumi.
"Anything from you we like. Read it already." Said Odd.
"Ok here it goes." Yumi said as unfold the paper that were in her hands.
"Take you time, Yumi." Said Ulrich as stand next to her. Yumi began to read.
"As we look back at the past
As we head into the future
We look at the mistakes
And learn from them
As we move into the future
We remember the good times and the bad
All the laughter that we share
Over the years, we've grown and change
But yet, we've stayed the same
Through our hearts, not our minds
Things might change
But our friendship won't
And we might grow apart
But we will always stay close
Now we've grown up
We remember the past

And the tears that we've shared
Through thick and thin
We have been best friends
All I want to say
Thank You, My Friend."
Everyone had tears in their eyes.
"That was outstanding, Yumi!" Aelita said as she gave Yumi a hug.
"You always were really good about you feelings." Odd said.
"Hey, Yumi? Can I get a copy of it?" Asked Jeremy.
"Sure." She said back to Jeremy.
Odd looked at his watch.
"We got to get to school before Jim find outs we have left the school grounds after school." Odd said.
"I better get home before my parents begin to worry." Yumi said.
"Can I walk you home?" Asked Ulrich.
"Sure, I would love that." Yumi replied.
"See you tomorrow." said Aelita.
"Ok. Bye." Yumi said as walked up the stairs with Ulrich right behind her. The rest of the gang went back to school. Out the factory, Ulrich asks Yumi a question.
"Um, Yumi?"
"Yeah, Ulrich?"
"I love you, Yumi. From the first day I saw you. I know you are my soul mate, and we belong together."
"Oh, Ulrich. Do you know how long I waited for you to say that?"
"Then will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes, I will, Ulrich." said Yumi as she grabbed Ulrich's hand. They walked like that until they got to Yumi's house. Before Yumi went to the house, she kissed Ulrich on the lips.
"See you tomorrow. Can I walk with you to school?'
"Sure. Don't tell the others about tonight. Not just yet. See you tomorrow at 7:45?"
"I will be here. Bye, Yumi. Sweet dreams. I love you."
"I love you too, Ulrich. Bye. Sweet dreams. See you tomorrow."
"Cya." Ulrich said as he started back to the school.
"A perfect ending to a perfect day. Yumi is mine. XANA is gone, and I have the bestest friends in the world." Thought Ulrich.
