Well good news for Karl was that he didn't need to fight a human.
Bad news was there was a being made of code slowly gaining a body and a very injured player laying at the code's not yet there feet.
"Well well well what do we have here," the being said turning its head towards the entrance where Karl stood "you are a being that I have not seen in a very long time."
Karl knew the code wanted him to respond, he knew that once he did he would be set on a path of destruction.
Pulling one of the healing potions out Karl made his way quickly to the player not saying anything to the code.
Arriving at the player Karl was happy to find that the supplies that he had arrived with would be enough to save the player's life.
"Do not ignore me precursor let him die and I can give you everything you could ever want."
Karl gave an uninterested hum as he examined the injuries of the player, the arm was a blackened mess, but that seemed to be the only injury on the outside. Pulling the stopper out of the smallest potion of healing Karl poured the majority of it over the arm and the rest was poured into the player's mouth.
"What are you doing, don't give him that!" the coded being yelled, still being ignored.
Within seconds Karl noticed that the arm was looking less of a mess and that the players breathing had evened out to a stable beat, something else caught his notice, the being that had slowly gaining more and more of a body, was much less slowly losing whatever body progress had been made.
"How dare you, you've ruined my plans," the being yelled angrily, "What do you think you're doing?"
Karl just stared at the being as it disappeared not even trying to provide an answer, and when he was absolutely certain that it was gone, he let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh my Notch I hate Dreamons, especially the ones without a host body."
Looking down at the player that he had saved from certain death Karl got to work carefully moving the prone body to where the area he had heard the scream from.
As he walked carefully, Karl felt the usual build-up of time magic that would bring him back home.
Laying the player on the ground and placing beside him a bucket of milk, Karl backed away there was no need for him to drop the player that he had just saved from certain death just because he disappeared.
When the build-up reached it's crescendo Karl let the magic take him away.
With a bright flash of magic the area was empty with the only sign of any person being there being a random bucket of milk.
