"My favourite name, despite what IT did while using it was Dream."

"Long ago there were two known types of beings, Players and Mobs. Players were beings who had the ability to speak and interact with the very code of the universe, while mobs were all the beings who could not."

"Wait… how did you know when a being was a player or a mob?" Desmond asked hoping that his questions wouldn't end the impromptu history lesson.

"Easily, when a new player entered an area or server as it was known, whether they are born or travel there, the Admin of the area is informed through the land itself, the Admin being a Player who has a deeper connection to the land. From what I understand through Clay, Humans are descendants of the Mobs known as Villagers, and there are very few who are able to interact with the universes code anymore." Dream said happy to explain this to someone (which given the fact that he's here and alone makes a lot of sense.) "Anyway back to what I was saying, long ago blah blah blah, there was a village of eight people now this village, in spite of it's name was a very good place to live,"

"What was the town called?"

""Not A Very Good Town" town, the people were friendly, the food was edible, and the couples well there were two married couples in that town and only one of the marriages was a happy one. Now one day a stranger appeared in the village, not that the majority of the townspeople knew, this stranger was being compelled by a higher power to use the people of the town in a little bit of a sick game. Throughout the day the people of the town started to feel off becoming suspicious of any and everyone around them. They all went to bed that night hoping that the feeling would be gone in the morning, it was not, in fact it was actually made worse." Here dream had a pause as if psyching himself up.

"Wait if it was just a feeling how could it have gotten worse, what was killed in the night." Desmond joked trying to lighten the mood smile disappearing when he noticed the look of sadness on Dreams face.

"In the night the man known as Cornelius the Wise was killed in his own home, stumbled upon, quite literally, by his Husband Catt. The townspeople upon gathering by the central campfire declared that there was a murderer in their midst quickly declaring the three main suspects to be Catt himself, Miles Memington, and the Young Orphan named Robin. In the end it was Catt who was executed for the murder of Cornelius, and Robin, Mourning the loss of both of his father figures within 24 hours stayed the night in the towns jail cell."

"Wait…the town had a jail cell and still executed Catt without doing proper investigations." Desmond said appalled.

"Yeah and it gets worse because the next day, while there had been no murders in the night, the townspeople decided that Catt was being truthful about his blindness and decided to put more people on trial for being the murderer the people being Robin and the Mayor Jimmy, Robin was executed because he refused to say anything in his defence other then crying over the deaths of his father figures."

"So Catt was blind, and Robin was as good as the couples kid and the town just killed them off like that wow."

"Yeah, so that night, Helga, the mayors wife- and towns only woman- was killed while stargazing while the Mayor and Miles were both killed in their homes, the killers for there were two of them woke from the spell that had been cast upon them the day the stranger arrived, realizing what they had done the two took the rest of the towns resources and left going their own separate ways and keeping what they had done to themselves for the rest of their lives."

"That's a great story but I have to ask how does that relate to you?" Desmond asked.

"Well I said earlier that when the stranger appeared that the majority of the townspeople didn't notice, that's because one of them did and warned his husband that something was going to happen, the one that noticed was also the first one to die but also the only one to wake up from his death because Cornelius the wise was special, his whole village consisted of, well, mobs but Cornelius was not he was the Admin of the whole area, and sometimes, depending on the power level of the Admin, the Admins would be immortal."

"So wait does that mean that you're Cornelius?"

"Yep, and it was something that latched onto the strangers code that eventually led to my being here on this beach with you. Because you being saved from IT means that you're about to have a fun adventure, hope you like explosions." Dream said looking at something behind Desmond.

Before Desmond could turn to look at it his consciousness was gone from The Grey.

Karl didn't know what it was that was different about this trip through time but there were a few things different upon his return to his own time and place in the universe.

First he was in his library, which is not unusual, what is unusual though is that he doesn't have the immediate urge to write this adventure down, because guess what he doesn't feel the memories starting to slip away.

Second, Karl was able to remember a lot more now than he was able to before the trip to the future, like the fact that he may have forgotten to tell Quackity about Kinoko Kingdom, he best get on that soon before something bad happens it was only February after all.

Third… there was a still healing body from the future on the floor in front of him that really shouldn't be there.
