In a castle just outside of Bellwood, two figures stepped through the gates and started scaling up the castle wall on mana platforms while the other flew beside her friend as they made their way to the top window and the flying figure opened it as they stepped through.

The figures stepped into the light to reveal themselves as Lucky Girl and Hope as the magician put a finger to her mouth as Lucky Girl nodded.

Hope levitated herself down to the library's lower level as Lucky Girl stepped down on a mana staircase.

"There," Hope whispered with a point as Lucky Girl stuck her hand out as her Telekinesis Charm started glowing.

"Ortis."

That was she grabbed the book they were looking for: a second copy of the Archamada Book of Spells.

"I thought Scarlett took this thing back to the Mystic Isles?" Lucky Girl asked.

"Did you really think that the sorcerers who wrote this thing were stupid enough to make just one copy?" Hope whispered back.

The doors opened and the two mages eeped before shutting themselves up.

The door opened to reveal none other than the Omni-Team's old enemy Hex and he looked to see no one standing in the library and he shrugged it off.

"Odd," Hex stated. "I could've sworn I heard-"

"I told you, Uncle Hex," Enchantress said, stepping out in her nightgown. "There's nothing here. It's late. Let's go to bed."

Enchantress yawned as Hex glared at the library before closing the door behind him.

That was when Hope lifted the invisibility spell she had placed on her and her best friend and they both sighed in relief.

"You are one lucky girl to have me as a best friend. You know that, right?" Hope asked as Lucky Girl chuckled.

"Yeah, I know."

The rest of the Omni-Team were staring at the big-screen TV in Omni-Manor as Kevin groaned as Ally and Becky played pool while Omni and Trixie stood on Ben and Jen's shoulders.

"Why do the lead-ups take so long anyway?" Kevin asked. "Everyone wants to see the game."

The team saw Gwen and Hope walk in the doorway as Gwen held the book to her chest as Hope walked in and sighed as she snapped her fingers and her sorceress dress configured itself into a more casual wear for her.

"Hey, girls," Ben said as Hope smiled at the holographic Ben and Jen.

"Hello, you must be the Omnitrixes themselves," she said.

"We sure are, Hope. It's a pleasure to finally meet you face to face," Trixie said as she shook the mage's hand (so to speak.)

"Want to watch the game with us?" Ben asked as Gwen sighed.

"We don't really care about that. I have some business to take care of in my room."

"And it involves me too," Hope said with a shrug as they walked to Gwen's room. "We'll be right back once we're done."

"Did you hear that?" Kevin asked as Becky struck the cue ball as it sent the balls scattering all over the table.

"That she doesn't care about football?"

"That was code. It means she doesn't care about me."

"Aw, golly, Kev'," Jen mocked. "That's just crazy talk. Gwen thinks you're swell!"

"She doesn't even pretend to like me anymore. But who could blame her? I mean, look at me."

"You're right, Kevin. Gwen doesn't like you," Ally said as she walked over to him. "She loves you."

In Gwen's room, the young Anodite hybrid drew some chalk lines on the floor to form a hexagram while lighting some candles at each end of the hexagram to prepare the spell she was about to perform.

"I really don't think this is a good idea, Gwen," Hope said as she lit a few candles herself.

"I've tried every spell I could think of to help Kevin," Gwen said. "Nothing worked. I'm down to my last option, Hope."

"Well, it's a foolish option."

"I've got to at least try."

"Fine. But I still don't like it. Even I, nor my uncle or sister ever dared to attempt this spell. This could risk altering all reality."

"Well I'm not really happy with this reality," Gwen said as she sat down and began levitating off the ground. "Ortis Expositis. Quis quandum era maflictus, iem feachus mas redentegero-"

This spell, however, was interrupted by a flash of light as a certain Time Walker decided to flash into the room, much to the surprise of the two teenage mages in front of him.

"There's an old saying in my field: Time travel is for immortals and fools. And I speak from experience."

"Professor Paradox?" Gwen asked.

"Hello, Gwen."

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm about to warn you not to go through with this plan of yours. See? I just did, right on schedule."

"You're about 30 seconds too late, actually. I just did that," Hope said.

"Well, as you admitted, you've never attempted time travel. And now comes the point where your best friend says-"

"This spell can send me back in time. Back to when Kevin and the twins attempted to hack the Omnitrixes."

"Yes. And you think if you can stop the, there won't be any explosion and Kevin won't be transformed into a monster and everything will be wonderful again."

"Yes!"

"No. Generally, two out of three isn't bad. But in this case, trust me, Gwendlyn. Don't do this."

"But I haven't been able to cure Kevin with my magic. It's the only way!"

"There's always another way. In fact, sometimes to do something, all you have to do is nothing."

"You're not making any sense!"

"I'm always accused of that. But I'm the Time Walker and I'm generally quite well-informed on these matters."

"I have to do this."

"I suppose you do. But mark my words, Gwen Tennyson: You are about to unleash forces that you can neither comprehend nor control. Toodle-ooo."

And with that, Professor Paradox vanished into thin air with a flash as Hope crossed her arms.

"I'd do what the Time Walker says. He knows this better than you."

"Sorry, Hope. I have to try."

With that, Gwen went back to meditating and went back to her spell.

"Quis quandum era maflictus, iem feachus mas redentegero, quis venit pro mas mesquam essei."

The candles fires started glowing blue as the hexagram beneath Gwen glowed white and a triangle-shaped portal appeared above her and she vanished through time.

"Seriously, don't do it," Gwen said. "Shut this thing down now."

"Yes, ma'am," Kevin said as he started typing in commands, only for the machines to start sparking.

"Um, Kevin?" Ally asked as she and the others stepped back. "Did you test that thing before using it just now?"

"Um... no?"

"Oh boy," Jen asked as the machine sparked and overloaded as the lasers blasted the two Omnitrixes started glowing and a holographic interface showed up around both of them.

"They're out of control!" Ben shouted. "Run for it! All of you!"

"Hang on!" Kevin said as the others all crowded around Gwen and she put a forcefield over them as Kevin ran for the twins and tried to help pry their arms off the table, only for the Omnitrixes to let loose a magnificent surge of energy, causing the machine to explode in a green and pink light and that section of the headquarters was completely destroyed in seconds flat, burying everyone under a mountain of rubble.

Suddenly, the entire scene rewound itself to just before they were booting the experiment up and Past Gwen opened her eyes and gasped as she saw her entire team standing still. Not even the meters on the computers were moving an inch.

"Huh?"

She moved her hand in front of her sister's face and raised an eyebrow.

"Guys? What's happening?"

"That's a little complicated."

Past Gwen turned her head and her eyes widened when she saw... herself. She immediately sprang into action and encased her hands in mana.

"Who are you?!"

"Who do I look like? I'm you. I've just traveled back in time to give me-uh, you- important information," Present Gwen stated.

"Okay, me. Prove it."

"Prove what?"

"Prove that you're me. You could be an imposter, an evil clone."

"Ugh. We don't have time for this!"

"Why not? I mean, if you really are a time traveler like you say you are, you should have all the time in the world, right?"

"Fine. What do you want me to do, me?"

"Tell me something that only we would know."

Present Gwen sighed and stepped forwards and whispered a secret into Gwen's ear.

"At one point when we, Becky, Ben and Jen were 11, Ben caught us watching... you know what... and we used a spell to erase his memory."

"Okay, fine. You're me. And by the way- EW!"

"You have to admit, nobody knows that but us."

"Overkill. You could've just told me our locker number or something. And that was a one time thing!"

"I know that. Now, you need to stop Ben, Jen and Kevin from hacking the Omnitrixes."

"Are you sure?"

"Trust me. We'll never forgive ourselves if you let this happen."

"...Okay."

Present Gwen turned and walked out of the Omni-Manor garage as time resumed around past Gwen.

"Okay, let it go, Becky," Kevin said.

"No!" Past Gwen said. "Its too risky!"

"I don't want anything bad to happen to my family, Kevin," Emma agreed.

"I agree," Jen said. "But what's the bigger risk? Not doing this, or risking it to have a better chance to take down Vilgax?"

"If Kevin can bypass the safeguards and unlock the Grand Master Control, we'll be able to do anything with them," Ben said. "But then, you guys are kind of right."

"Do you ever think there's a reason they call them safeguards?" Ally asked.

Suddenly, Past Gwen sprang into action and grabbed Kevin, Jen and Ben with her telekinetic grip and held them against the wall with her mana.

"Hey!" Kevin shouted.

"Ow!"

"I said it's too risky! Now promise me you aren't going to hack the Omnitrixes."

"What is wrong with you, Gwen?" Jen asked.

"If I didn't know better, I would say that you switched bodies with Enchantress again," Ben agreed.

"Becky?"

"I can't believe I'm doing this," Becky said as she knocked an explosive arrow and shot it at the machine, blowing it to smithereens once she hit the button on her bow to detonate it.

"Ah, my stuff!"

"Promise!"

"Okay, okay, we promise!" Ben said.

"Cross my heart and hope to die!"

"Whatever. I was done with it anyway."

Past Gwen smiled and let the twins and her boyfriend go as they fell to the ground.

"So..." Jen began. "You going to explain that anger spell?"

"No."

"Good girl," Present Gwen said from behind the wall as the time portal opened above her and teleported her back to her present.

Gwen opened her eyes to find that she was in... her room in her own family home and not in her room in Omni-Manor.

"Huh? What's up?"

She looked around to find neither Hope standing near or the Archamada Book of Magic.

She got out of her meditative stance and stepped out to see that nothing was different with the home. But then she opened the front door and gave a horrified gasp at what she saw.

The sky was a blood red color and tons of the houses and lights lining the streets were completely demolished.

An announcement truck passed by repeatedly blaring the same warning in Hex's voice.

"Attention, citizens! Surrender! Continued resistance will only result in further suffering!"

"What the heck happened?"

A destroyed wall finally collapsed and revealed two of...

"Enchantress' monsters. What is she doing?"

The monsters noticed Gwen and stepped forwards with a growl.

Gwen instinctively pressed her watch and enveloped her hands in mana.

"Back off. I'm warning you! Don't come any closer or-"

The monsters did not heed her warning and slammed down, completely demolishing the front porch.

"Hey! That's my house!"

A furious Lucky Girl shot out and blasted mana beams from her eyes that blasted the monsters apart. Then, she turned her head and noticed three more monsters coming in the other direction, ducking into an alleyway as the none the wiser monsters continued down the street like the brainless minions they were.

Just when she thought it was safe, Lucky Girl backed into yet another monster and it roared in her face, only for her to use her Fire Charm to blow it to bits.

The other monsters realized they lost her and dodged, not noticing their very target standing on a mana platform above them.

Lucky Girl then retreated to the freeway, which was also partly demolished with tons of abandoned cars lining the streets as Lucky Girl hid from monsters using an invisibility spell as she made her way into the city.

As she made her way to Mr. Smoothie, she stopped at the payphone to reach out to her cousins, only for nothing to go through.

"Come on, Ben and Jen! Where are you?

Gwen suddenly felt a jolt through her skull and ducked behind a corner and saw Enchantress' monsters leading some civilians to an unknown location... only for them to be blasted to smithereens by a certain human-Pyronite hybrid as a half-Tetramand with a mechanical hand leaped in with a battleaxe and chopped the stone chunks into even smaller pieces.1

"Get out of here!" Helen shouted as she zipped by the civilians. "Go!"

The civilians didn't need to be told twice as they hightailed it out of there.

"We should go too before those things reconstruct," Jess said as she flew above Alan, Helen and Manny.

"Yeah," Alan said. "No telling how long these things will stay down?"

"Guys?" Gwen asked as she stepped out, prompting stunned looks from the Plumbers' Kids as they looked her over.

"Gwen?" Manny asked.

"How?" Helen asked, feeling at Gwen's face. "Is it one of Hex's illusions?"

"I don't think so. She looks pretty real to me," Jess said as they all examined the young Anodite hybrid.

"No, please. Just... take me to Omni-Manor so I can figure this out."

"Of course," Alan agreed.

At Omni-Manor, the first thing Gwen noticed was Kevin's destroyed car in the garage (big shocker there.)

"Kevin. Not you too," Gwen lamented.

"Uh... Gwen?" Jess said as they looke to see an army of stone monsters roaring as they approached her.

"There's too many. We can't take them all by ourselves."

"Oh," Helen smirked. "I wouldn't worry about that, Gwen."

That was when a giant pink forcefield domed itself over the Omni-Manor and protected the team from the creatures that slammed onto the forcefield, trying to shatter the forcefield, only for nothing to happen.

"Come on! We gotta go!" Helen shouted as everyone ran into Omni-Manor, leaving the creatures outside.

Gwen and the team entered the headquarters and the former's eyes widened as she saw every machine in the main room was going at full speed with Becky standing by in front of some holographic communications and Ally was at her workout area, absolutely decimating a punching bag with Hex's face on it and Hope was in a full meditative state, hovering above the ground with a magic runic sigil glowing around her.

"Okay, everyone. How's it going in your neck of the woods?" Becky asked.

"Amity Park's hanging in there. Good thing Hex and Enchantress don't know much about ghosts," Danny said.

"We're doing our best here in Paris too," Marinette reported.

"And Royal Woods as well," Lincoln nodded.

"Okay. We'll report again next week. Hang in there, guys," Becky said as everyone signed off.

"Hey, we're back," Alan said.

"And you're not going to believe who we found," Manny said as Gwen stepped up, much to the stunned looks of the three girls standing in the room.

"Um... hey, girls," Gwen smiled meekly.

"Gwen?" Becky asked, shocked out of her mind. "No, this must be a trick. One of Enchantress' illusions or something. You can't be alive!"

"Whoa, wait a minute. I'm dead?!"

"How is this possible? Enchantress ripped the heart from right out of your chest," Ally said, stunned as Hope stood up too.

"What's going on here? How did all this happen?"

"Hex and Enchantress have taken over the world," Hope said. "We weren't strong enough to stop them. Ben and Jen..."

"Ally and I have been running things since then and we've formed a resistance all over the world to try and bring them down," Becky said. "Every ally we have is doing our best against her monsters. We just have a little problem," Becky said as Hope walked over and crossed her arms.

"We're doing the best we can, but no matter what weapons we build, nothing takes Hex and Enchantress' monsters for long," Helen said.

"Of course not," Hope said. "You cant use science to defeat magic. Everyone knows that. Magic must defeat magic."

"That's why we have you, Hope. Verdona is also helping, but she has to help all over the planet because with Ben and Jen captured and Gwen dead, she's the most powerful mana user on the planet," Manny said. "At least, we thought you were dead."

"Ben and Jen are captured?" Gwen asked. "I'd like to know what's going on here."

"Ah, I believe that would be my job."

"AAAH!" Everyone screamed as they saw the Time Walker himself appear before them.

"Would you stop doing that?!"

""If you insist. Off I go then."

"No, wait!" Becky begged. "Please, don't go anywhere."

"Actually, Rebecca, in my case, it's less of a where and more of a when."

"Okay," Gwen said. "Professor Paradox, do you know what happened here?"

"Indeed. This was all Gwen's doing."

"Huh?" Jess asked.

"She went back in time and prevented Kevin from mutating."

"He mutated again?" Ally wondered.

"But that was exactly what my plan was."

"Indeed. And every plan has unintended consequences. For instance, Gwen, in both timelines you now created, Hex and Charmcaster tried to take over the world, as is their want. The Omni-Team swung into action as humanity's last line of defense, as you so often are. The only difference is that in this timeline, there was a weak link."

"Me?"

"Oh, no, my dear. Not you... Kevin."

"Okay... how?" Becky asked.

"Because Gwen traveled back into the past and prevented Kevin and the twins from hacking the Omnitrixes, preventing the resulting explosion, she prevented Kevin from mutating. Ergo, the new Kevin, or should I say the old Kevin, lacked the powers he needed to stop Hex. And so, the bad guys won."

"I'm so sorry, everyone. I had no idea that this would happen."

"I warned you that time travel is for immortals and fools. And since Scarlett is nowhere to be seen, I'm the only immortal hereabouts. You do the math."

"I'm a fool," Gwen sighed. "Where's the twins and Kevin?"

"You're not gonna like that answer," Hope winced.

"We'll hold down the fort, guys," Helen said as Gwen and the others nodded.

"Hex and Enchantress' castle. I should've known," Lucky Girl sighed as she, Huntress, Matter Girl and Paradox stood on a tree overlooking the castle.

"Careful, girls. Gravity is not your friend."

"Oh... oh no," Huntress gasped as everybody looked down to see Kevin... only... not.

He was now made of the same rocky material and had the same purple runic markings as Enchantress' rock creatures. He wandered by a large stack of rocks and picked one up, going to his mistress.

"Kevin," Ally said.

"What did she do to him?"

"Enchantress found it amusing to bind him with the same spell her and I use to control our rock creatures. When we fix this whole thing, ask me back there. I'll teach you and Jen anytime you want."

"Okay."

Kevin laid another rock down on the pile near Enchantress and it slipped and fell off the pile.

"Oh, clumsy, clumsy Kevin."

Enchantress shot her hand out and pelted Kevin with several magic bolts from her hand.

"We'll save you, Kevin. That's a promise," Lucky Girl promised.

"That attitude is what got you into trouble in the first place," Paradox reminded.

"What about the twins?"

"They both fought valiantly. But they were eventually captured as well."

"What? They would've never beaten Jen's Master Spark form."

"They didn't need to," Matter Girl said. "They just had to survive until she burnt herself out with it. After that, she was easy picking."

"Pity," Hope sighed. "After you died, they were the planet's last hope as they always are."

"But if I'm dead, how am I standing right here?" Lucky Girl asked.

"Yes. That is one of the odd things about time travel."

"Okay, we know our mission," Lucky Girl said. "We have to change everything back. Make it the way it was."

"Right."

"I suppose it wouldn't any harm to try. However, stealing their copy of the Archamada Book of Magic won't be so easy this time around, what with all those rock monsters, Hex and Enchantress' heightened powers in this timeline," Paradox warned.

He opened his eyes only to see the heroines flying-running on mana platforms towards the castle.

"Ah, youth. They never listen."

The girls jumped and flew up to the window of the fortress... before Hope was blasted and they all landed on a lower roof as they saw Enchantress hovering down to them with a shocked look.

"Gwen Tennyson? No way."

"Oh, Faith," Gwen said as Enchantress winced at that name. "You say that as if you're surprised to see me."

"I am. Because I killed you once. And now, I'm gonna do it again and to your sister and friend too.

Enchantress blasted a powerful mana blast, but was blocked by a mana shield conjured by Lucky Girl as Matter Girl blasted her with her energy cannon, sending her down as Huntress leaped up and fired an arrow that unfurled into a laser net that ensnared Enchantress.

"Killing my best friend is so not cool, sis," Hope said as she smacked her sister upside the head with her staff, knocking her out as they headed into the castle's library.

"We know our mission, right, girls?" Matter Girl asked as the girls split up and searched the shelves for any sign of the Archamada Book of Magic, only to find nothing of the sort.

"May I help you girls find something?"

The girls all gasped as their old enemy turned around in his chair towards them and held the very thing they were searching for in his hand.

"My apologies. It's the one book I don't lend out to anyone."

"Wait a minute," Huntress said. "You aren't surprised to see my sister?"

"To the contrary, young Tennyson. I've been waiting for you to show up. After all, you're the time-lost Gwen. The last surviving link to a... less appealing past."

"How do you know all this, uncle?" Hope asked, levitating in the air.

"Magic, my dear. I love this new world that your meddling created, Gwen. And I'm not letting you change it back."

"Well, you're not gonna stop us from trying!" Lucky Girl said as they saw a huge purple blast from outside and they saw Enchantress in her stony armor form fly above them, wings flapping as she glared down.

"Are you guys done talking yet? Because I'm totally gonna kill her again."

"You must learn patience, my dear niece."

"But not right away. First I'm going to kill-"

She was interrupted by a four-way blast between mana, magic, arrows and energy blasts that sent her crashing to the ground.

"You need to stop saying that."

"Oh, If you think I'm going to fight you, you're dumber than you look."

That was when they heard the sound of rapid footsteps and Kevin burst into the room with a roar as he growled at the girls.

"Oh, clever," Matter Girl admitted.

"Okay, Kevin," Lucky Girl said. "You don't have to do this."

Kevin only growled as he slowly approached the girls.

"...Okay, maybe you do."

Hope shouted out as she twirled her staff around and formed a magic sigil that blasted Kevin into a shelf of books, knocking him out.

"Okay, I've got to stop trying that tactic. It never works with anyone."

The others gathered by Lucky Girl before she blasted mana lasers to the ground, creating a circle as she and the others fell down through the castle, crashing through several floors.

"You little fool!" Hex scolded.

"Oh, sure. Like you knew that was coming."

The team finally crash-landed at the basement and groaned.

"Okay. Not the smartest move I've done, but it was better than getting killed again," Lucky Girl chuckled.

"Um, guys?" Huntress said as they looked up and saw they were in a dungeon.

"Whoa," Matter Girl said before they noticed two figures strung up to the walls, groaning. They then realized it was Spidermonkey and Firefox.

"Ben? Jen?" Hope asked before she fired two beams from her eyes that destroyed their chains, sending them crashing to the ground as they transformed back.

"I've got you guys," Lucky Girl said as the twins came to and weakly stood up.

"G-Gwen?" Jen asked as her eyes fully widened. "But... how?"

"We saw you. You were fighting Enchantress and she-" Ben muttered.

"I know, guys. This is all my fault."

"How?"

"The Omnitrixes. When they blew up... only they didn't. But they should have and they would have if only I hadn't been the stubborn idiot I am and tried to fix everything."

"Um..." Ben began. "I know I'm kind of messed up, but you're not making any sense right now."

"We'll explain when we get you out of here," Matter Girl said... just before the door to the dungeon burst off its hinges, revealing Enchantress with a few rock monsters as well as her thrall Kevin.

"Oh, sure. Like that's going to happen."

"Did you forget that we studied the same magic?" Hope asked as she positioned her fingers and focused. "Silicus Milez Sasitatio!"

The ground beneath her burst upwards and several of Hope's own rock monsters appeared and glared down at Enchantress' monstesr.

"Evening the playing field. I guess you are my sister."

"Gwen, you and Becky go get the spellbook. We'll handle these guys," Jen said.

"No. Guys, you're in no condition to fight," Matter Girl warned.

"We already lost you once, Gwen," Ben said. "We're not going to let that happen again!"

Enchantress rock monsters charged forwards as Ben transformed into...

"Swampfire!" the Methaosian shouted out as Jen morphed into her Anodite form.

Both shouted out as they blasted their fire blasts towards Enchantress who quickly raised her glowing hands.

"Tempestus!"

The sorceress conjured a torrent of water that rose upwards and protected her as Jen nodded to her brother and snuck off with an invisibility spell shrouding her. Swampfire's powers, however, were slowly being overwhelmed by the water as Enchantress blasted him full force, sending him crashing into the wall as she slowly approached Gwen with a malicious look on her face.

"I've ripped your still-beating heart from your chest once before, Gwen. And I'm about to do it again," Enchantress taunted. "What do you think of that?"

That was when she was suddenly blasted at point blank by an ultra-powerful mana blast and she turned to see Jen floating in her Master Spark form with an absolutely livid look on her face.

"I think if you're going to kill someone, kill them! Don't stand there talking about it!" she screamed in fury.

She then shouted out as she fired a powerful mana laser from her chest and didn't let up before Enchantress fell unconscious.

The two armies of rock monsters clashed against each other as Matter Girl shouted out and slammed one back with her hammer arms as the thrall Kevin approached Gwen.

"Kevin, no! Please!"

Kevin shouted out as he slammed against Gwen's mana shield... just before he was stabbed with Becky's spear as she gave him several smacks with it before doing a twirling kick that sent him crashing into the wall.

"News flash, sis! He's not Kevin anymore! Our only chance is to get you back to the past to stop this from happening!"

"It's time to write the final chapter in this sad little saga," Hex said as he floated down.

"Thanks for the offer, Hex. But I'm not much of a reader!"

Swampfire shouted out as he tossed a few seeds to the ground and some powerful vines wrapped around Hex and Huntress closed one eye and aimed her bow carefully as Hex struggled as she smirked and let the arrow fly.. a few inches short of Hex's head and the metal arrow hit a specific spot of the wall.

"You missed," Hex taunted as Huntress only smirked.

"I never miss," she simply said.

Everyone paid closer attention as the arrow bounced off all the walls of the armory before it bounced off one of the blade stands, that hit the arm of a statue holding an axe which sent the axe spinning, causing it to sever the rope that held the room's elaborate chandelier in place, sending the chandelier crashing down onto a flamethrower turret, activating it, which burned off a rope that held a large metal shield in place, sending it down and it rolled along the floor, knocking a large cannon into position with Hex right in its line of fire.

Hex saw this and broke out of the ice and moved out of the way just as the cannon blasted... right into a stone pillar.

"We destroyed your sister once before, kid," Hex cackled as he charged up his magic energy... just as the stone pillar was cracked from its foundation. "We'll do it to you t-"

He failed to finish as the stone pillar fell right on top of Hex, knocking him completely unconscious as Huntress smirked as she fist-bumped with Ben as he and Jen transformed back.

"Like I said: I never miss."

Gwen picked up the Archamada Book of Magic and turned to the others.

"Let's get out of here, before they have a chance to... ugh," Jen groaned as she and Ben collapsed to their knees, clearly exhausted.

The team saw the rock monsters, Hex and Enchantress slowly recover as they approached.

"Gwen, get out of here," Hope instructed. "You need time to cast a spell."

"And that'll fix everything?"

"I hope."

"Do whatever you can," Jen said as she activated her Omnitrix. "We trust you."

Gwen smiled with tears in her eyes as she held the book to her chest and ran off.

"You want Gwen? You're going to have to go through us!" Matter Girl shouted.

Gwen held the book in her hand and rapidly recited the spell once again.

"Quis quandum era maflictus, iem feachus mas redentegero, quis venit pro-"

"STOP!" Hex shouted as he burst through the wall.

"mas mesquam essei."

Before Hex's magic blast could hit her, the time portal opened once again and sucked Gwen into it, leaving this timeline behind.

"Are you sure?" Past Gwen asked.

"Trust me. We'll never forgive ourselves if you let this happen," Present Gwen stated.

"...Okay."

"Don't listen to her!" Future Gwen shouted as she ran into the garage. "I'm from her future and she doesn't know what she's talking about! This has to happen!"

"Oh, come on! How do I know you're not an imposter?" Present Gwen asked.

"The lock on our locker is broken. We just leave it hanging there so everyone will think it's closed."

"Okay, you're me. But I still think we should save Kevin."

"Oh, come on! You girls need to make up our minds!"

"Already done," Future Gwen said. "Paradox and Hope were right, me. We have to let this happen the way it did the first time.

"We can't keep Kevin from mutating?" Present Gwen asked.

"No. The fate of the world depends on it," Future Gwen said. "And just to make sure she doesn't try, I'm going to make her forget this whole conversation ever occurred."

Future Gwen placed her glowing hand on her past self's head and cleared her memories of this entire conversation with herself.

"Come on, me. We don't belong here," Future Gwen said as they both sighed and the time portals opened above them both and sucked them in, just as the two Gwens were combined into one as they went back to the present.

And I assume you all know exactly what happened in the garage next.

Gwen opened her eyes as the spellbook fell to the floor as Hope sat on Gwen's bed as Ben and Jen walked in.

"Gwen? What have you been doing here all day? You missed the entire game."

"Yeah. It's not like you to stay in your room for an entire day," Omni remarked.

Gwen sighed and placed the Archamada Book of Magic safely on her bookshelf.

"Hope and I were just working on a project together. I lost track of time."

"Both figuratively and literally," Hope muttered under her breath.

"You want to go to Mr. Smoothie?" the mutated Kevin asked. "It's the twins' treat."

Gwen ran up and hugged Kevin as Becky and Ally stood by and smiled.

"What was that for?"

"I'm... not sure."

As the Omni-Team entered the garage to the vehicles, they all spotted Paradox standing by as Trixie flashed onto Jen's shoulder and whispered something inaudible into her ear about Gwen and she nodded.

"Hello, young persons."

"Professor Paradox?" Ben asked.

"What are you doing here?"

"Is something wrong?" Ally asked.

"No. Everything's fine," Paradox said, shooting Gwen a wink as he vanished in a flash of light.

Meanwhile in Cinnibar, Scarlett sat on her throne as three new warriors stood in front of her with a few of their generic soldiers standing behind them as well as she smiled at them.

"Now. I've lost a few of my best guards in battle recently," Scarlett said. "And now I'm in need of some new members of the Scarlett Army. Geralt of Rivia."

The mighty witcher nodded to the young queen.

"2B."

The robot soldier only smiled and nodded.

"And the young and mighty Fenyx."

Fenyx bowed with her pet phoenix Phosphor on her shoulder.

"Some of the mightiest and most ruthless warriors in the multiverse. It's an honor to be in your presence."

"And us in yours," Geralt said with a bow.

"All I ask is your allegiance to our cause and I shall reward you all handsomely."

"Anything to defend the innocent," 2B said.

"Same with me," Fenyx said. "We'll take the money, but defending the multiverse is a reward in and of itself."

"And me as well," Geralt said with a gesture.

"Excellent. Your first task is going to be in a few weeks... and it involves training some charges of mine."

"Hmm?" the new soldiers all asked as Scarlett sighed.

"It's a long story."
