The sound of the cold rain hitting the exposed torn and bloody skin, the pain caused by the drops of water scourching the open wounds and washing away the blood. That terrible burn you feel within you after you fail somebody. After all these years, after all these missions, he finally failed. His task was simple, distract the enemy, don't let them pay attention to the teen heroine saving the hostages. He made an oath to himself that if any one is going to be injured on any mission, it would be him. The skys roared with bone chilling thunder. But he wasn't affected. His mind was settled on one Idea. He failed. Between his hands sleeps the injured and bloody body of Kim possible. She could do any thing, but he couldn't. In fact he can't do any thing. The long pause by Ron was interrupted by the sirence of the ambulances rushing in. Her body was taken and put in the ambulance. And they left. They left the injured teen in the middle of the night under the rain. He didn't blame them, he felt like jumping of a bridge. For he, Ron Stoppable, is a nobody.
He fell to his knees and hit the ground with a fist leaving fresh open cuts and wounds on his fist. The cold wind blew and increased the sharp pain in every limb of the teen. But he didn't care, his sight focused on one area, a cliff. He approached it and looked at the cold and raging water of the ocean a hundred feet below. It doesn't take him any second thoughts, he ran as fast as his injured feet could carry him and jumped as high as he could. After a second of ascending, Ron started to fall. The wind blowing at his face as he fell had a sweat smell, the smell of sweat surrender, a stench Ron was familier with. The smell which disappeared as a thought came on Ron's mind. Kim, his friend who taught him not to give up, his friend who counted on him, his friend who never gave up. He felt his fall descelerate. He thought his mind was playing tricks on him. He opened his eyes and sees that indeed, he had stopped mid air. He panicked as he looked under his feet and saw no barrier preventing him from falling. After a second of floating, Ron was sucked up into a portal.
He fell to his knees and tumbled down a hill. After regaining conciousness, Ron opened his eyes to see himself in another place, it was midday, he realized that he was no longer in the world he used to live in. A warrior obviously in his fourties wearing a goldish plate and red cape approached him.
"Hello" the warrior spoke as the wind blew the black hair revealing his black eyes, "I've been watching you"
