Gold eyes stared.
However, he felt no sympathy as the green little pest shrieked as he was pulled this way and that by the two Hanyou twins.
"Sad, ain't it?" Inuyasha smirked at Jaken, who was about to curse at him, but thought better of it, "A couple of pups are stronger than you, you little shit."
Jaken retorted even when his cheek was about to be ripped off by one of the pups, "Of course they are stronger! Even if they are Hanyou, their parentaG–?!" He screamed when his beak was held shut by the other pup.
"Inuyasha."
And said male felt shivers run up his spine at the voice he loved and knew so well coming right behind him.
"I know Jaken is technically babysitting Towa and Setsuna," Kagome sighed, stepping up beside him, "But I'm sure they would much rather play with you." She smiled at her mate, who simply grumbled.
"Where the hell is Sesshoumaru?" Inuyasha huffed, "He should be looking after his own pups. Not making me do it."
"He's hunting for us," Kagome answered, "He's doing his part and you're doing yours by protecting us all when he's gone," She leaned forward, grabbing his hands within hers and laid them upon her stomach, "Not too much longer for her, Inuyasha."
Their pack would be complete then.
