"Finally."

Kagome sighed when Inuyasha started to grumble and she patted his shoulder, "No fighting," She warned lightly, "Not in front of the kids. You can spar later if you need to." She smiled as Inuyasha huffed.

"Yeah, yeah."

Sesshoumaru landed a moment later with a slain deer and a couple of rabbits, and of course, not a droplet of blood staining his pristine clothing.

"Papa," Towa threw Jaken away without realizing her strength and the toddler stood on wobbly legs before falling over with a grin, "We watch Mama!" She said with a toothy grin.

Setsuna nodded vigorously in agreement.

"I see," Sesshoumaru simply nodded, "Very good," He stated, "You performed your duty well." He eyed his pups for moment as they beamed at him before going back to their play of smacking Jaken around, despite his loud protests.

"You weren't gone long," Kagome moved up towards the Daiyoukai, leaning up on her toes to give him a kiss on the cheek, "Can't stay away from your adorable daughters, hmm?"

"Our daughters, Koi," Sesshoumaru glanced down at her showing stomach, "I trust your power and Inuyasha's abilities to protect you," He stood back, hearing a snort from his little brother, "You are still more vulnerable to attacks than not."

"I'm more than enough, ya know," Inuyasha rolled his golden eyes, stepping up to the deer and rabbits, "I'll just go slice these up while you're being all soft." He taunted, leaping away with the game before he could be reprimanded.

"Don't mind him," Kagome said, though she knew Sesshoumaru was not really bothered, having grown used to Inuyasha's mouth by now, "He's just restless. For Moroha."

Any day now.
