"McGonagall is your mum," Ron asked horrified at the mere notion. She was strict and he shuddered for his friend.

Hermione shared a look with Harry before laughing at her friend. Minerva had always been their favorite member of Hogwarts staff. They never understood why the other students thought she was so unapproachable. "Màthair is different at home. She is absolutely wonderful and loves us fiercely," the girl gushed.

"You brother is a squib," inquired Harry.

"Yes and no," Hermione answered. "Robbie doesn't have enough magic to use a wand but he is capable of enough wandless magic to excel in Herbology and Potions."

"That's brilliant," Harry exclaimed with a grin. "I was worried he would struggle with being able to be included in this world but not be able to function in it. I wouldn't want him to become bitter by it and have a rift form between you."

Hermione smiled radiantly at her bestfriend and hugged him fiercely for it. "You are one of a kind Harry," she whispered. "Never change!"

"Enough of this mushy stuff," Ron said, ears blood red in embarrassment. "How is it knowing you have two mothers but no father? Who would of thought Ole McGonagall was gay?"

Hermione chuckled at her other friend. "Màthair isn't gay, Ronald. She is bisexual, honestly I think she is attracted to a personality more than physical attributes. Don't forget we had the Grangers as well. I have always had a father involved and I have always had knowledge of my magical parents. I am well rounded I assure you."

Minerva slowly let out a breath as she laid the Daily Prophet down. As anticipated, her Head of House Ross status had been reported as well as her officially claiming her children and making Hermione primary heir and Robert the secondary one. It had been a sensational article which included several pictures she and Hermione had loaned them. It mentioned her wife's name, their private wedding ceremony and how she had been murdered including the crime hadn't been solved yet. Minerva had chuckled when it told of her heartbreak at losing her wife and their twins. The author had spinned the story to make it seem Minerva knew of her wife's pregnancy but that she had been told her wife and unborn children had all been murdered. The part of the article explaining how she had rediscovered her children and reconnected with them was ingenious and completely fictional. I really need to buy Liam a gift for that article she silently mused.

"Wonder who will ask about the article first," Robbie asked as he ate breakfast.

"My guess is Professor Dumbledore," Hermione offered as she took another bite of her French toast. "I imagine he will be shocked to see the photographs of Màthair and mother."

"I believe you may be right," Minerva replied worriedly. "I have removed him from the wards so he won't be able to barge in. We shall need to decide how much we tell him."

"I think we might need to bring in someone else on our secret," Robbie added. "Dumbledore will know the truth now that mother's name and image was printed in the paper and may decide that we need to go away to keep his secrets."

Minerva growled her displeasure at his words. "That old coot best not touch a hair on either of your heads. I shall watch his every move from now on. I shan't let anything happen to you now that I finally have you in my life."

Hermione and Robbie smiled at each other before looking at their Màthair with tenderness. She had included them in every facet of her life immediately. Once she realized they were hers, the Momma lion had appeared and took over completely. Within just a few weeks, she had managed to incorporate them within everything. They had new wizarding wardrobes and new wizarding heir books so they could learn about their role in the Wizarding world now they were heirs. Minerva had enlarged her library and added a cosy nook for Hermione. Robbie had a small greenhouse in the backyard that was swoon-worthy.

At Gringotts, she had insisted on them taking an inheritance test to hush the old pureblood bigots. Her eyes had raised comically when she saw Arwen's birth parents listed as Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald. She knew Arwen had been adopted by a French couple but she hadn't realized Arwen knew who her birth parents were. The goblins had quietly informed Grindelwald's aunt, Bathilda Bagshot, of their existence and she had added them as her sole heirs and even took an oath to not reveal their familial connection unless it became common knowledge.

Minerva tilted her head to the side in concentration before suggesting, "What about Albus' brother Aberforth? There is enough bad blood between them to ensure he keep our secret while also giving him another family connection that he craves. Aberforth might be a bit odd but he has a heart of gold and is rather good in a crisis."

"We don't know enough about him to make a decision," Hermione answered honestly. "We will just have to rely on your instincts there. I think we should bring in Professor Snape."

Minerva eyed her wearily for a moment as she tried to puzzle out what she was missing. "Severus is Albus' right hand man," she answered carefully. "He has taken oaths to remain loyal to Albus."

Robbie and Hermione shared a look before turning back at her. "Professor Snape has been mentoring me in potions privately since second year," Hermione revealed. "He saw raw talent in me and demanded I allow him to teach me. He has kept all knowledge from Professor Dumbledore because he knows I don't trust the wizard."

"What," Minerva gasped as she looked at her daughter. "Has he really?" Hermione nodded her head in affirmation. Minerva tilted her head and studied the situation silently for a few moments. "Do you feel you can trust him?"

"I do," Hermione answered then grinned at her mother. "I happen to know he values your friendship above all others he has including any loyalty he has to Professor Dumbledore."

"He does," Minerva asked suprised by that. "Very well I shall trust your judgment on this. Owl him and see if he will meet us at the Hog's Head tomorrow evening for dinner. I shall contact Aberforth and arrange a room for us to meet in privately." Hermione nodded and headed out of the room to do as her mother had asked.
