Minerva raised her eyebrow in suprise as she saw Remus Lupin and the newly freed Sirius Black approach her in her office. Andromeda had been a force to reckon with as regent for House Black and demanded justice for Sirius which prompted an investigation from the DMLE. Outrage and disbelief overcame Magical Britain when the public learned Sirius had no trial nor was he questioned under Veritaserum. Fudge had bore the blunt the public's anger and found himself pushed out of the Minister position. Amelia Bones had been quickly pushed into the job by those that wanted to see the downfall of Voldemort. She had been cleaning up the Ministry of Magic from what Minerva had been told.
"Good evening gentlemen," she greeted kindly. "How may I help you?"
Remus closed the door and cast some rather impressive privacy charms. "We need answers," Sirius said desperately. "Harry has been keeping a distance from Albus because he has noticed Hermione doing so. He will follow Hermione anywhere so we need answers. Should we not trust Albus?"
Minerva groaned before closing her eyes. "I forget how observant Harry is," she said. "I need vows before we continue this conversation."
"Unbreakable," Remus asked suprised.
"Vows of silence with a tongue tied spell attached until Hermione or I release you from it," she clarified.
Both nodded in acceptance and quickly made the vows with Minerva. "Why does Hermione not trust Albus?" Sirius asked.
"Albus murdered her birth mother," Minerva said angrily.
"What," Remus said flabbergasted. "Why?"
Minerva gave him a piercing look that made him feel like he was a student again. "Think about it Remus," she urged. "You have seen the magic Hermione is capable of. She does most spells flawlessly on the first attempt. She is able to do some wandless magic at 15 years old, some that I still have trouble with. Severus has been given her private potion lessons since her second year when he realized she independently brewed polyjuice potion correctly in a bathroom of all places. Robert is more so talented in potions. Who does that sound like?"
"Albus," Sirius said wide-eyed. "They are related to him?"
Minerva nodded her head. "Albus fell in love with another wizard and with the aid of magic gave birth to Arwen. She was given up for adoption and he pretended she didn't exist. When Arwen discovered who her birth parents were and how dark Albus' actions were, he murdered her to silence her. The bastard would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for Arwen's foresight and the treasure trove she left for the twins."
"How are you able to sit next to him and not kill him," Remus asked upset by what all she had told them. "The bastard killed your wife."
Tears leaked from her watery eyes before she swiped at them furiously. "I have to hide his secrets to protect my children," she confided, agony filling her tone. "My need to protect them outweighs my need to advenge my wife's death. I have to bite my tongue or my cubs are the ones that will suffer."
"What secret would fall to the wizard's grandchildren," Sirius asked confused. He knew the workings of Magical Britain and the shame members of the family could bring on the whole House. He was a Black afterall.
"Albus had a love child with Gellert Grindelwald," Minerva answered. "He defeated him and had him imprisoned to keep Grindelwald from revealing Albus' original vision for the Wizarding World. Albus has been playing people like bloody pawns on a chessboard. Imagine how my children would be treated by Wizarding society if it was discovered their grandfathers were one of the Darkest Wizards in modern times and his Defeater?"
"I could see issues in that," Sirius said shocked.
"So how do we show Albus the exit without harming your children?" Remus asked. His amber eyes showed his support for her.
Minerva smiled gratefully at him before shrugging her shoulders. "Aberforth and Severus know the truth," she said. "Severus helped me suprise Albus and overpower him this summer. I managed to force an Unbreakable Vow from him."
"Well that's a start," Sirius breathed. "We shall figure out something. Remus lets go talk to Snape. We will apologize to him for being bullying arseholes to him in our school days and then we will work on the Albus issue."
Minerva smiled gratefully at them as she watched them leave her office.
Minerva hissed out in pleasure as Severus pushed her against his private chamber's door that she just walked through and attacked her neck with kisses. "Merlin," she breathed as she threaded her hands in his hair. "You make me feel desireable."
"You are desirable," he whispered in his deep baritone. "Do you know how hard it is to keep my distance from you on a daily basis? How I long to let the world know how I love you?"
"Show me," she pleaded as she tugged on his hair and drew his lips to hers. He wasted no time in slipping his tongue in her mouth and making her moan. He quickly removed her robes, leaving her in a matching emerald bra and knicker set.
"Do you realize how gorgeous you are," he whispered as he took a step back and adored her form. "Will you drop your glamour charms and show me the true you?"
Minerva looked at him in complete disbelief. She hadn't told anyone since Arwen's death about her use of glamour charms. "How did you figure that out?" she asked suprised. "I haven't told anyone since Arwen's death."
Severus smirked at her before stepping near her again. He kissed her lovingly before pulling her hair loose from its confinement. "You use your magic too easily not to be more magically powerful than you portray. We both know witches age much slower based on their magical ability."
"How long have you speculated I am hiding my magical strength?"
"Since I was a student," he admitted with a grin.
Minerva grinned at him before whispering the counter spells in Gaelic. She felt her magic swirl around her before it washed over her. She looked up at Severus and saw the astonishment on his face. She chuckled at him. "Arwen had the same reaction."
"I didn't realize how young you would appear," he admitted breathlessly.
"Poppy reckons I could pass for a 35 year old Muggle," Minerva said in amusement. "She is the only other person alive that knows. I haven't revealed it to the children yet."
"You should," he whispered. "You would shock them into silence."
"Perhaps," she whispered. "Now take me to your bed and make me scream your name."
Severus chuckled deeply before sweeping her up in his arms and heading towards his bedroom. "As you command," he drawled and gave her a heated look.
